So again thank you Emily for loving your job and helping me and Jennifer thank you for also answering the phone ready to help anyone and when I told you I was happy about Emily it made you happy to hear and I'm being a thousand percent honest I'm completely ignorant to the painting process but now I'm not so fearful so Emily I hope you get a huge raise and continue loving your job cuz you're good at it. Thank you

Our home desperately needed a new roof, as previous owners refused to do any maintenance. I read dozens of reviews, went to BBB, their websites, social media. I really do my homework when looking for contractors. While I did get 5 bids, only Legit Roofing actually spent time explaining in great detail their process, products, and warranties and answered all questions we had. The others simply sent me an email with their quote. Will and Dylan were excellent. Came to my home at 6pm on a Friday evening. They spent nearly 2 hours, measuring, explaining their products and all that Legit does to ensure they provide the best roof with the best warranty in the area. 50 year warranty cannot be beat! Their customer service was heads and tails the best, and ultimately why we chose Legit. Their price was a bit higher, but their customer service, attention to details, and quality of products earned our business and this review. They came to our home about 2 weeks later to do the install. Took about 2.5 days total for our 2800 sq ft home. The crews made sure at the end of each day to clean up after themselves, which as a parent and pet owner, I really appreciated. About a week after our roof was complete, Caleb, their quality control guy came out and did a walk around with us to find out how we felt about our new roof. We had nothing bad to say. They were great from start to finish. We highly recommend them. We are considering them for gutters and siding now too, and we have no doubt that we'll be getting quality service and products when we do.

The bill actually came in lower than the bid. We are paying for it today when they come to our house to pick up our check. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves very well.

We are very pleased with the quality of work and interactions with Steve King…read more He replaced double pane glass on an upper window and the stationary panel for the sliding glass door.Multiple quotes to replace the complete sliding door exceeded 5k but Steve did a fine job for 800.00.I liked the assurance that he has 40 years experience doing glass repair/replacement. From estimate to custom glass manufacturing/installing was one week. Although some reviews say he was cranky because he was not paid on time or by VISA I found him to be courteous and obviously knowledgeable and competent. I will not hesitate to recommend him to friends.

I was transparent with him and communicated daily as we tried to resolve it. Steve repeatedly replied "no worries" when I mentioned the bank was taking longer than anticipated and I kept him up to speed on my attempts to solve the issue on check delivery. When we were two days past the date the bank said Steve should have been paid, we agreed I would call the bank. On the day we agreed I'd call the bank, Steve lost it - multiple text messages and then he started another text chain with other folks in our network to defame us. All while I had done everything as promised. If he wasn't willing to wait for me to call the bank he could have said so. Instead, it was "thumbs up" to texts and "no worries" replies. You're probably thinking the payment was months late. Nope. 11 business days. He also doesn't provide an ability to pay the invoice other than a check - which in this day and age means an online billpay. I can't comment on quality of work (some reviews say his window fixes don't last long - as mentioned by L C. on 7/22/2023) time will tell. I hope his work product is better than his demeanor and customer service.

We sought out at least four different estimates for patio covers, including replacing ours with a…read morevinyl one just as before, heavy timber, post/beam and Straight Line was the company we ended up going with. Vinyl is nice but it always looks like an "add-on" and if it is not done right, it will not hold up in our Oregon weather (ours only lasted 10 years). Heavy Timber estimates were as much as $45,000, which we simply couldn't afford and it didn't fit in with our home's construction anyway. We saw Straight Line's display at a home show in November, called them in January to get on the schedule for May or June. Once started, the work completed in 8-9 business days. You may think that's a long time but here's my point: They came out when they said they would, did the work right THE FIRST TIME and were a pleasure to work with. Anthony was the guy that I talked to at the show and he was the person responsible for organizing delivery, framing, roofing and gutters. We did the painting and staining ourselves to cut down on costs, along with using a truss system instead of beam construction. The tight-knot cedar ceiling would cover it up anyway so it was an easy choice. The workers were all professional, motivated and genuinely friendly people that had my satisfaction as a customer as their top priority. As the other reviewer noted, I noticed a couple of them smoked but they asked me permission and I found no litter or butts afterward in the yard. Unfortunately, when the roofer came out to tie all this into our existing roof, we found our roof has almost completed it's life. There was no way I'd be able to afford a new roof also, but this roofer took the extra time to go over it with me, including a tour of my attic space and took precautions to get me a few extra years out of our existing roof for a very reasonable change order price. I will definitely be calling them in about 3 years to replace that too. Problems? None that weren't addressed immediately. The electrician roughed in a junction box so we could buy our own fan and install it ourselves (more savings). That was done before the ceiling was put up so the box was a little recessed when it came time to mount fan. Brandt came out the NEXT DAY and built a nice little platform at the peak so the fan could be centered, and he even offered to install the fan (I declined because it was still in the box.) Parr Lumber, and this wasn't Straight Line's fault, delivered the wrong length of tight knot cedar so that took an extra day to get that straightened out. Again, Brandt immediately addressed this and got it replaced quickly. This is the kind of customer service that gets people to write a review like this. I'm a real person and we work hard for what we have. The last thing I want to do is have to micro-manage people who don't care what they do and take short cuts. These people took every opportunity to not only show off their craftsmanship skills but to offer ideas that would yield a better end product at the lowest cost. Truss versus Beam construction saved us about $1000 plus whatever we saved painting/staining. So to Anthony, Brandt, Chance, Creighton (ask about his wife's chocolate shop) and everyone else associated with this project, Thank you so much! We appreciate your attention to detail and the hard work you do. This is everything we dreamed it would be and more. Larry and KC
