Pro Paint NW was terrific on a two-part job (not of their doing) that extended over a one-year period. They stepped in quickly last summer when another contractor was unable to complete the work and finished the exterior paint job during a week we were away on vacation. Came home to a wonderful finished product. Brent also returned to do touch-up which was appreciated. Brent agreed to meet with 4 homeowners to provide estimates to paint our homes. Three were full paint and one was trim only. The appointment was set for Friday, June 6th at 2:00 pm. On Wednesday, June 6th I called him and left messages at 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to confirm the Friday appointment. He never confirmed back. On June 6th, all 4 homeowners were home and waiting for him to arrive to perform the estimates. He never showed, Never called. Never sent a text. Hard to understand why. 11/17/23 This is the second time we have used Pro Paint NW. They redid the cabinets in our kitchen and two bathrooms far exceeded our exceeded our expectations! The cabinets look better now than they did when they were new more than 20 years ago and changed from wood to painted cabinets. They also painted the shelving and inside the cabinets which were melamine and in terrible condition. Other painters were not willing to do any work inside the cabinets. I think Brent's team at Pro Paint northwest did a great job on the exterior painting of our home. The quality of the workmanship was obvious and they made sure to communicate about everything along the way. We didn't pay until they were done, and we were very satisfied. They even stand behind their work, as we had a piece of water damaged wood that was not repaired as well as we would have liked (part of the scope) and they sent a carpenter the following day to fix it and make it all right and it looked better than new. I would definitely recommend them. Brent and his team are incredible--not only does our house look the freshest on the block, but their precision in timing with wild Camas weather, dealing with our HOA requirements with grace, and detailed finishing work all blew us away. We had wanted to get our house painted for years, but thought that couldn't justify the expense... we were wrong!! This was the best decision we've made. Even our neighbors and random people driving by commented that they're so happy we painted the place such a lovely combination of colors. We got multiple quotes, and spoke with neighbors, who had also used Brent and Pro Paint NW. From the fair pricing to the ease of dealing with his team, and the finished product, every single referral would absolutely use him again in a heartbeat--and so would we. The process worked like this for us... We reached out, and Brent promptly came to our house for a thorough inspection. We wanted to move ahead but we were stuck on color options. Additionally, the weather was changing quickly in November and we were limited on the rain-free days. Brent recommended a color specialist, and we met with her/figured out color options. This was so fun! We felt very confident going into the actual day of painting. This was an awesome referral. For our three-story house, the entire process took just a couple of days. They started with washing the surface, got everything sealed off or removed (hardware) and started spraying. Then they worked details by hand. The entire crew was so delightful, and we really appreciate it that they were so easy to work with (especially with a puppy in the back yard and a five year old always wanting to chat with them.) :) One other huge element that we are impressed by is that Brent and his team didn't try to sell us on painting surfaces immediately that would ultimately wear very soon due to rain. They were very realistic and told us that we would need to paint our deck in the summer when it could dry out enough. We will have his team come back as soon as there's enough sunshine to do that last piece of our entire project. (Other painters said they'd paint our deck now, but we know from previous renovations it would peel if not dried out enough). Brent's honesty and candor about timing and quality requirements is a huge bonus in this field. I was so happy with the work done that I selected Brent's company again to paint my house exterior in December, 2022, and at the same time, my bathroom vanities. Again, I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the work, how quickly the job was completed, how careful the painters were of the shrubs around the house, and how they left everything neat and clean when they finished the job. Based on his thoroughness and professionalism during the estimate process, he was my first choice, but I was certain his quote was going to be out of my price range. To my surprise, his quote was less than many of the other quotes I received. Due to other things that came up, I had to move the start date a couple times and he was always flexible and understanding. I read all the highly rated reviews for this company and figured I'd reach out to receive a quote. So I contacted them for an interior paint job on a home that I purchased. Brent the owner responded and I let him know I was seeking a few quotes. Straight to the point in the end...I never received a quote for the work I wanted done. After some back in forth I was finally able to schedule time for him to swing by. I was sure to ask if time frame worked within in his schedule but I never received a response. Two days later he shows up at my house when I was not home and called to let me know he's at my house and can wait around ten more minutes. I replied via text that I never received confirmation of the appointment and I would give him a call to reschedule. Once I was free, I gave Brent a call and finally nailed down a time that worked best for us both. I'm all about giving second chances so once again I was able to get Brent to come back out with a firm confirmation this time and he showed up. He apologized for the mishap and appreciated the second chance. He came in, took pictures and we discussed the job in detail and etc. He told me he would get back to me later that day with the quote or at the very latest the next day. I received nothing....and to this day I've never heard back from him. If this is the kind of business he runs and customer service he provides, then I am very thankful for him not getting back to me as I was able to receive another quote and my home painted in a timely manner, which I am very pleased with. Would highly recommend. I got a number of quotes before selecting a painter for the exterior of our house. The house is large and on a hill making it a difficult job. Brent provided a very reasonable quote for painting the house exterior and decks. One painter didn't get back at all and one other didn't seem to need the work since he come in at over twice what Brent quoted. We had an emergency color change on the trim the first day of painting it and he was extremely reasonable in pricing the change and accommodating us even though I know that impacts his schedule.
