Final Touch canceled our painting project three days before they were scheduled to begin. This was after months of planning and discussing the details of our project with the owner. The owner stated that only one painter, among the 10 or so that he employed, was trained to spray the exterior of our three-story house, and this painter was leaving the company. But rather than postpone our project while another painter was trained to, uh, paint, Final Touch simply canceled. !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I hired this company to paint the exterior of my house last year (0ct 19) and this is what I experienced. Vitaliy requested an additional 500usd half way through the job due to "we used more paint then expected and we are not making as much money". I was shocked by this blatant display of lack of professionalism. If you underbid a job then you eat it if material cost is higher then expected (its called saving face in front of a customer due to your incompetance) or bid a job properly (unless you underbid to get a job and hope to get the customer to donate more money to your profit margins). I requested a copy of their invoice from SW paint and he never replied. They did a poor job in properly painting all the batten board trim and i had to have them come back 3+ times to properly touch up missed spots prior to paying them for the job. To this day i still have issues with paint quality in various places due to the lack of proper paint application techniques or lack of proper amount of matierial application. They also got paint on my foundation which they did not remove, they broke sprinklers which i never requested replacement for due to frustrations with dealing with them and not wanting incompetent people around my house and on my property anymore. During the job they dented a gutter which they bent back out and now is obvious that it was damaged before. A few weeks after completion of the job, i noticed paint bubbling on a gutter. I decided to wait till we got better weather which wasnt till 2020. When i contacted vitaliy, he said he couldnt work due to covid restrictions. I understood and waited till recently to reinquire on warranty work for the bubbling paint. Now he claimed "for obvious reasons we cannot work outside". Seems like you need to work on your customer correspondance skills because thats not how you talk to a customer. I can understand that too due to the smoke issues recently. However after the smoke cleared, vitaliy didnt respond to my text messages regarding completing this warranty work. He never reached out post job on my experience, nor did he ever reach out to address this known issue. If i can suggest anything to anyone needing paint work done, go look elsewhere. These guys are not professional, lack skill when it comes to painting, they are hard to get ahold of (sending that older gentleman to come back for touch up work with crusty old paint brushes, who didnt speak english, was ridiculous by the way), they do not stand behind their work. Frustrated with them is a nice way of putting it. This has been my honest review based off of my experience with them. Final Touch Painting showed up when they said they would and sometimes that alone is worth a positive review. I received their quote after they visited the property with the previous tenant still living here but I was not available. As it got close to the date to paint we did a walk through together. This time they said they would have to charge 25% more because there were areas that would have their color changed. In other words, it would take more than one coat in these areas. This was not something they wouldn't have seen the first time they visited as it is on two of the three levels of the house. It seems the initial price was a low ball price to get you to go with them and then they think of an excuse to raise it after you have committed to them. So BEWARE of this. Also, the place I was moving into was empty except for some clothes I had placed in the MBR closet and in a laundry basket and a box of books. I was having the carpeting replaced which made it easier for them to be less concerned about drips etc. When I showed up to see how it looked I found my clothes from the closet thrown on the floor, the laundry basket of clothes emptied onto the floor and they had been walking on them with paint on their shoes, probably that had dripped on the carpet somewhere. Consequently, I have shirts and clothing with paint stains that can't be removed. Fortunately, not a lot of items. They also opened up my box of books which was taped shut and took a look. Later when I advised them of this the response was "I apologize". Nothing more. Hence I advise anyone considering them to be on their toes. It felt like animals had torn through the house without regard or respect to anything other than getting a coat of paint on the surfaces. Everything was painted the same color with the same finish so beware of this as well. Doors, casings, baseboards were all painted the same with the same finish. If you work with them make sure you work out these details in advance! read more

I am overall very happy with the work these guys did. They were quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. My only complaint would be that there was a lack of communication. To get information I had to ask, it wasn't just laid out for me. Perhaps this is normal, but since I'm not the expert I would have preferred someone let me know when something is going to be done. This resulted in excessive caulking of my siding. I just assumed that they would not caulk my butt joints on my fiberboard siding because it has flashing behind it, but they caulked it. I realized this and asked them to remove it, and they did. This could have been avoided if there was a discussion about expectations ahead of time. Ultimately, though, they did a great job and I am happy I hired them. read more
