Arlo is a miracle worker! My office and foyer walls were covered in a popcorn ceiling texture from a previous homeowner. Why you would put that on your walls, I'll never know. After getting some electrical put in, we thought we could patch/mud the walls to a flat texture ourselves. About 2 days into the job it became clear that drywalling/mudding was not our forte. I contacted Arlo and he started work fixing up the space a few days later! Very communicative, reasonable pricing, and a clean job. You could never tell that the walls looked so messed up before! Either this company has gone out of business or something shady is going on. I got an estimate for work in my house 2 weeks ago from Arlo, agreed on a price and signed a contract with them. After that I never heard from them again. My emails, calls and texts have all gone unanswered. Fortunately I hadn't paid a deposit yet, so I didn't lose any money to them. read more

Arlo is a great contractor to work with. He really listens to what the needs are, gives good ideas as to how to go about it, and works tenaciously to get things done really well. As a single woman homeowner, I'm constantly having to deal with contractors that talk down to me and argue when I ask for something to be fixed. That was never a thing with him at all. Kind, easy going guy that gets stuff done. He repaired some drywall corners that were done poorly by a previous contractor and fixed a wall where the seams were showing too much when the light of a skylight hit that wall. I've hired him to do more worked based on that experience and personally have recommended him to friends and colleagues (I'm a realtor). Definitely recommend! read more

He came out the very next day to review the project and provide a quote, and he was ready to start just a couple of days later. From that first interaction until the project wrapped up, he communicated consistently, and there was never a moment that was unclear. He works very quickly, finishing our project in one day. However, his speed does not sacrifice anything with regard to quality of craftsmanship. He did expert work, and, once painted, it will be impossible to tell the original ceiling from the repaired area. Just getting a contractor to return a call in this economy can be extremely frustrating, not the case with Arlo. He returned my call promptly, scheduled an appointment and showed up at that time, gave me a very competitive quote, and finished the job in a timely manner.
