Arlo is a miracle worker! My office and foyer walls were covered in a popcorn ceiling texture from a previous homeowner. Why you would put that on your walls, I'll never know. After getting some electrical put in, we thought we could patch/mud the walls to a flat texture ourselves. About 2 days into the job it became clear that drywalling/mudding was not our forte. I contacted Arlo and he started work fixing up the space a few days later! Very communicative, reasonable pricing, and a clean job. You could never tell that the walls looked so messed up before! Arlo is a great contractor to work with. He really listens to what the needs are, gives good ideas as to how to go about it, and works tenaciously to get things done really well. As a single woman homeowner, I'm constantly having to deal with contractors that talk down to me and argue when I ask for something to be fixed. That was never a thing with him at all. Kind, easy going guy that gets stuff done. He repaired some drywall corners that were done poorly by a previous contractor and fixed a wall where the seams were showing too much when the light of a skylight hit that wall. He came out the very next day to review the project and provide a quote, and he was ready to start just a couple of days later. However, his speed does not sacrifice anything with regard to quality of craftsmanship. Just getting a contractor to return a call in this economy can be extremely frustrating, not the case with Arlo. He returned my call promptly, scheduled an appointment and showed up at that time, gave me a very competitive quote, and finished the job in a timely manner.
