They came out to talk thru the project and discussed options but no hard sell (which I appreciate). They assign a project manager (Blake in my case) to coordinate and keep things on schedule. However, the heroes of the project were Michael + Jonathan who built our fence. The took out the prior fence and checked in with our 96 yr old neighbor that we share the fence with to make sure he approved. He did! The walked me thru the finished fence and even added a "puppy protector" mini fence to keep our dog contained. They were super respectful, kind and FAST. We contacted Cascade Fence & Deck to assist in designing a patio cover type solution to keep our special Maltipoo puppy dry while doing her business outside during the rainy/windy season. I first spoke to Kelli who was extremely helpful and listened to what I thought we might need. She setup a free estimate for the next day and followed up by email reviewing the details of our discussion and with the name/photo of our estimator. Steffan arrived on time. Impressively, he listened to our issues and ideas...and helped us come up with a creative solution that we could use to accomplish our objectives. I have to give these folks some big props, they stepped up in a huge way. We went with them because they had incredible reviews, and the photos of their work looked top notch. We had a visit from Mike to survey the work, and a thorough follow-up where he walked us through everything. The price was super reasonable, and they took care to make sure our needs would be met. But here's where their character shows when it matters most. The finished product on the job day did not match our expectations, and we were really concerned that we may have made a mistake. We live part-time in Portland. While we were out of town, a couple of our neighbors contacted us to say that one of our fence posts had rotted through, and the fence was leaning.
