Completely redid my front and back yard and I could not be happier!…read more Designer (Harley) gave me exactly what I wanted: lush greenery with evergreen plants, landscape lighting, drip irrigation for all plants, a fenced in dog run area with artificial turf. Project manager (Andy) was great to work with, very responsive, and immediately said yes to any new ideas I had, then promptly made them happen. Any issues that came up he took care of without question. The two gentleman that actually did the work were amazing, hard workers. They did an excellent job and definitely did things the right way. When they started the work, they were here every single weekday without fail. I have hired multiple other companies and these guys were by far the best I have experienced. They did not drag things out by no showing randomly like so many other places. I'm sure you can find another company that is cheaper, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Wish I had used them originally so I didn't have to redo 10s of thousands of dollars I paid another company. Highly recommend. Could not really imagine how a company could have given me a better experience. The ONLY other thing I want is for the plants to grow quickly so things really fill in!

The project was completed but not to the agreement. I wrote this off as a slight misunderstanding because a majority of the work was completed the way I was expecting. I did receive some bi-weekly maintenance until the sun stopped shining. This is where it took a turn for the worse. My maintenance stopped and my inquires both email and phone were ignored until the spring. the payments kept coming out of my account but I still received no service. I didn't get any contact until from them until I filled out a negative review of their services. Long story short. this company does not care about their customers only their bottom line. I would say this is hyperbole if I hadn't talked to Adam about this fact and I got a lecture about how the company can't be expected to act any differently and stay in business. There are many other companies out there I would NOT recommend this one. They seem to be more concerned with outward appearance and collecting as much money from their customers while citing justification based on a vague interpretation of a contract.

Gregorio seems like a sweet man and is family oriented. I hired him to be my regular gardener and…read morewanted him to come out every 2 weeks for weed abatement, He came twice and then just flaked out and could not seem to follow through on showing up when he said he was going to. I couldn't count on him and that is problematic when living in a nice neighborhood where people maintain good curb appeal at their homes. I gave him a good recommendation on Google when he completed his second time at my home, but then his services just dribbled away. An alternate landscape maintenance company in Camas I do recommend is: Mike's General Landscaping and trimming. I give Mike 5 Stars for sure!!! After having a couple of poor experiences with flakey landscapers, I went on Nextdoor and asked neighbors who had, had a gardener for longer than a year and who they were very happy with? A neighbor recommended: Mike's General Landscaping in Camas WA. I have since hired Mike (Actually Ishmael) Vazquez, owner/landscaper and I am very pleased with the quality of his work and the fact that I can trust him to arrive when he says that he will and be very diligent about doing my landscape maintenance while he is at my home. Mike uses his Translator app on his phone to converse due to Spanish being his native language and doing that is just fine with me. Mike is very good and careful about asking before he trims stuff to ensure we are both on the same page and Mike has good suggestions regarding what he thinks would be advantageous for my yard. I am very pleased that Mike was recommended to me and is now is taking care of my landscaping projects. His prices are also reasonable.

Josh and Kyle were methodical in the process of supporting the porch, removing the old beams and installing the new ones. Since there were 6 beams, the process was done in two stages. The team demonstrated excellent skill in installing the metal anchors in concrete and then cutting the beams to fit perfectly in place. This was a very technical renovation and we couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and skill of the construction crew. The renovation was also a very fair value. I highly recommend J's for your outdoor custom projects even if it isn't technically landscaping!

After going back to read reviews and talking to friends, we found J's Custom Landscaping. From our initial appointment with Nick, we were thrilled with his attention to detail and referral to landscape architect, Harley Barber who created an amazing initial design. Nick then worked with us to provide solid cost quotes and we refined the vision into what our budget was. The crews who worked on the project were super friendly, paid attention not to disrupt the front yard landscaping and were just amazing workers in all sorts of winter weather. Both Nick and Jay (who worked with us on the patio cover) were amazing communicators throughout our project. It was finished on time and on budget and we are super thrilled with all of the work that was completed. I would highly recommend working with J's Custom Landscaping for any yard transformation project. From start to finish, we were so happy to work with them!

Overall, I had a stellar experience with Dave (the general manager) and his Sanlino crew…read more Throughout the process, my family and friends had to endure me singing his praises. At a time when it is extremely hard to find any contractor, let alone a good one, I felt super lucky to have encountered Sanlino... they exceeded my expectations almost every step of the way. I had never had any landscaping done before, and exchanged near-daily emails with Dave to answer my myriad questions and refine the contract details before I agreed to sign the contract. Their price quote was the lowest I had received of several landscapers, *and* I was super-pleased by his responsiveness in allaying all my concerns, so I felt pretty confident when I decided to move forward with them, and excited to have the project start. It was an expansive project that included installation of a hogwire fence, new cedar gate, new cedar retaining wall, cedar-cladding of an existing wall, placement of paver stones, installation of pea gravel, boulders, over a hundred plants and trees. I wanted a Japanese zen-style garden, and he guided the project--and my decisions--well in its creation. They started on February 1st, as arranged, and though the project ended up taking a few months longer than expected, there were a number of reasons for that (such as the ice storm, and) including replacing some plants that rabbits had unexpectedly ravaged and suggesting adding in more elements--repairing gaps in my cedar decking and fence, adding landscaping edging--to refine the look of my landscaping. I never felt like my project was abandoned, rather I was grateful that they did not hurry through my project just to have it done. And though there were modifications needed as things came up, I never felt nickel-and-dimed; instead, I often felt that they expended extra time and effort in order to meet my pretty particular needs. Dave and his crew were very respectful, and he generally gave me a good sense of when to expect them each day. I already had some landscaping plans from years ago when I approached him, and he worked together with me to determine the plant list (organically over the course of the project rather than pre-defined from the beginning) and arrangement of the plants, trees, and boulders throughout my yard. He repeatedly gave me opportunities to sit with a given arrangement for a while and let him know if I wanted anything moved. The guys that showed up were usually the same few (Carlos, Hector, Felipe), and it was comforting to have that continuity. Dave did a great job overseeing the work of his crew--he was keenly aware of what they were doing each day they were on site (and he himself was on site at some point nearly each day), and having them make adjustments as he deemed necessary. I was very impressed by Dave's level of commitment, his artistic eye in creating my landscape and artistic hand in building my cedar gate himself, and his very considerate and kind manner. I have heartily recommended Sanlino to my friends and family as I have been excited to share his level of service with them.
