Emili and crew were knowledgeable and responsive. They replaced our failing retaining wall in a very structurally sound way, using clearly better methods than the previous construction of the wall. Highly recommend.

If you need any concrete work done I can't recommend Emili and his team enough! After reaching out for a quote, he made me a priority and was there within a few days to get a scope of the project as well as willing to start on the project days after. He provided a competitive price as well. I had a few other companies I was getting quotes from but none of the others were as good at communicating as Emili. On the day of the project, his team was there first thing in the morning and were done with my driveway but late afternoon. They were friendly, helpful, and thorough in their process making sure things were level and had the proper sloping away from my house for rainwater. They also included me in the process by providing updates. The sidewalk that the driveway was crossing was in bad shape requiring repair on the day of the project which we weren't expecting but Emili and his team provided a fair price for that as well and took care of it day of. Currently, we're waiting for permits from the city for the apron installation for my driveway. I didn't have to do any of the work to file for permits, this is all being done by Emili and once approved, his team is going to return to finish the project. If you want concrete work done quickly, efficiently, at a reasonable price, then you need to work with Emili.

If you want the best concrete artist in town then you need to contact Emili and his crew. They are the best concrete contractors I've worked over the years and I've worked with four different ones over the past twenty years. Emili is the upmost professional, honest and hard working business man in this this industry and I'm already thinking of ways that he and his crew can comeback to perform their magic. I would highly recommend them for any and all of your concrete needs. Five star group. Our job started early with Emili and his crew showing up at the agreed time to start the forms installation and to check my grades. They used a ready mix concrete service who was also on-time and ready to get the job done. We had to rent a pump truck as the patio was located in the backyard. Within an hour and a half they had pumped 15 yards of concrete which was 3 yards over my calculations. Emili didn't fluster at all and even offered to cover the overage. I would never ask that of someone when it was my mistake, but the crew kept working and within 2 hours we could start to see the fruits of our and his labors. We had asked for a stamped patio and Emili was able to deliver with a coordinating border around the outside edge. Emili was helpful and explained the processes all along the way. I felt like I was not only getting a concrete patio, but also an education. Following the stamping Emili and his crew returned 4 days later to complete the staining and sealing process. This is where the project all comes together and where the art work really shines. Another thing I noticed about Emili and his crew is that they were very conscientious about keeping their work area, my home clean. Nothing was left laying around for me to cleanup and I really appreciate that. I can't say enough to convey how pleased we are with our patio and look forward to many barbecues and family events. Thank you Emili for all your hard work and look forward to working with you and your crew on more projects. If you want the best concrete craftsman in the area at a reasonable price then you need to contact Emili for your next concrete job. Greg McGowan

Outstanding service! So kind and responsible. Super respectful and such a great value. I was really impressed by the work and loved how Emili walked me through what the project was going to look like before the team even started. Will ABSOLUTELY be coming back for more repair jobs. 11/10

Emili and his crew are artists. They did a great job on my custom pool project. From the beginning Emili gave me the time to explain what I was trying to do and he was quick to understand and asked insightful questions before coming up with a plan. I had some other contractors no bid because the work I needed was too complicated for them but Emili came to me through a recommendation as someone that is very skilled with concrete and he delivered. For my pool he devised two different cement mixtures and used two different primers to ensure a strong bond. Emili is smart, knowledgeable, skilled and nice work with.

EK built me a retaining wall that I had waited for over 10 years to finally have built. I struggled to find the right solution, but they provided me with 3 solid options for construction and clearly presented the pros and cons of each. Once I picked what worked best for my needs they quickly got me a solid and complete bid. Once I signed they were able to complete the work from start to finish way faster than I could have imagined. When it was done, they made sure the entire site was cleaned up and to my satisfaction. I can't recommend this company enough.

This is a mixed review since there is good and bad to mention. I contracted with this company to…read morereplace my siding and double decks. This wasn't the lowest priced bid, yet it also wasn't the outrageously high quotes I received from other companies. I was very excited to finally get this work done. At the same time I was working with TGR, I was also contracted with a roofing company, a painter, and a gate company. In the end, the only company I had problems with was TGR Construction Co. There are things I wasn't prepared for in this process, such as my pictures falling off the walls during the siding tear off or the cracks in the ceiling and walls created with the tear off, of which they tried to tell me all these NEW cracks (I live in this home) are due to normal settling of my home and said all houses settle with time and this is normal and not due to the siding job. I know it's not a coincidence these new and sudden 'settling' cracks appeared with the siding work. They broke through the ceiling upstairs and they did own up to this, maybe because it's hard to justify 'normal' settling with sudden stucco all over the floor. There were structural issues that arose during the project, at nobody's fault, that ended up costing me $11K more than my contract. Then I was also charged $4900 more to remove windows and have them reset. Btw, three other companies included the window removal and reset in their contract. It was considered standard for other companies. After the siding and decks were done, I was left with HVAC refrigerant lines on the ground and blocking doors and windows for my tenants, wires dangling under the deck staircase, the Radon remediation system wasn't reattached correctly and sparked scaring a HVAC technician and me, a deck rail was reset too low, refrigerant line covers were accidentally thrown out, and my daughter and I each did double sweeps for nails left behind when work was done. It took almost two months of asking for them to resolve these unresolved issues before some things were finally done. Jan 20th, three months after the crew left, I finally had the last unresolved issue handled. As a consumer, when I contract with a company, I expect to have the job done right without unnecessary stress. That did not happen here. On the POSITIVE, the crew is hardworking and really nice guys. The siding and double decks look great now. My home underwent a metamorphosis and is now beautiful and I receive compliments. I had crappy, rotting decks replaced with sturdy decks. This is the only reason I give a 2 rating instead of lower. All the mishaps, repair delays, and stood up appointments made this extremely frustrating and stressful. Could I have achieved my desired results without the frustration? I'm sure I could have with a different company. Buyer beware! Educate yourself on all steps that need to be in your contract. Make sure the removal of your windows for proper flashing is in the contract. I know A LOT of people and all my other contractors received more jobs through my recommendations. I know currently four people who are looking for a recommendation for siding, yet I can't recommend TGR Construction.

I hired Alan to replace cedar shakes and do some finishing woodwork on the exterior of our home…read more We met Alan based on a referral from another home services company. From the beginning, Alan was methodical, communicative and prompt. He showed up to give us an estimate and answered my numerous questions about the job at hand. By the end of the same day of his initial visit, we had a detailed estimate in email, which we approved. Our house was remodeled in the past with uniqueness and quality materials in mind, but with 80% completion on many aspects. We needed a contractor who could help complete our unique vision. Alan replaced a large area of cedar shakes on the back of our home, helping erase the evidence of a decayed deck we previously removed. He also crafted a solution for a corner where the previous homeowner didn't seal up the house properly. Alan was organized and gave great attention to detail. He communicated his arrival and departures each day, and ended up finishing ahead of schedule. I am super happy with the level of attention that was paid to each detail of the job, and will hire Alan again for a future project.

He admitted that the scope of work would create structural instability which was never communicated prior to it being done. He doesn't want to fix it or hire a structural engineer as supposedly the 3 that he works with don't want to touch this project. We have started the steps to file a CCB complaint. I HIGHLY recommend you guys look at the yelp reviews. Shocking to say the least. For a what seemed like a simple job these guys sure liked to mess it up. We have a detached shed/garage that was built on piers and we needed it to be reinforced with concrete because we are converting it to a gym. We sent in photos and got a reasonable quote. When they got out here they couldn't get their equipment back to location (I could have told them that and they could have seen that based on Google map photos). So there was an upcharge of $650. Fair. Then while they were in the middle of the job they basically said they couldn't do what we were asking. That what we wanted would be more labor. We agreed. New upcharge of $1550. Annoyed, but we want it done. They said they'd tape plastic tarps up to protect the interior walls from the concrete. They didn't. Splatter is everywhere. They said they would take out the entire plywood floor and pour concrete up to where it was. They poured it to just under where the floor was. They also left a corner of the floor and didn't even cut it square so we get to figure out how to install a floor around it or how to remove it without damaging the concrete underneath it. They also had multiple workers smoke in the backyard just feet from the house. I was upstairs and had a few downstairs windows open so now my whole house smells like cigarettes. I am very sensitive to it and get migraines. So that's great. They also used several of my own tools for the job. Which was wild to see. They used my hammer, mallet, and a dewalt ratchet set. They also used two brooms to sweep the concrete debris so now there is dried concrete in them. Overall highly would not recommend these guys. Nearly 8k for this is crazy. So now we have to clean off all the walls from the splatter and figure out how to remove the old flooring they charged us $1550 to remove but didn't. Also the floor isn't even level.
