We wanted it to match the aggregate cement already in place and the crew did a magnificent job. The ramp looks like it has always been there and has added value to our home, I'm sure. Oasis was professional in getting us a written quote, setting up a work timeline, and getting the job done. The crew also cleaned up after themselves every single day and were respectfully quiet while working. Communication was excellent and Maasi answered all our questions and got back to us when he said he would. Note: This in itself was amazing since Maasi and his wife welcomed the birth of their second child in the middle of the walkway project. Congratulations! Services Requested I spoke to the owner on 4/11 about my project. I told him where I live and he had me text him my information (name, address and phone number) to the number I was talking to him on. He made the appointment for the following Saturday (4/19) @ 8:00 in the morning. At 8:30 I texted and asked if he was coming. No show, no call. I chose this company because of the reviews. Maasi and crew did an excellent job updating my makeshift walkway to a beautiful stamped patio. Polite and professional, he responded to my request for a quote immediately and came out to look the next day. His quote was far more reasonable than others and they were able to get to work within a few days. The weather has been hit and miss for pouring concrete, which requires multiple trips to get the job done, but they came back on every dry day to complete the process. After pouring the pad, a delivery driver walked on the wet cement, leaving a footprint. I texted him and he came back right away to smooth it out! They poured the pad on the first dry day, let it dry for several hours and came back to apply the stamp. Once it dried enough, he covered the pad and placed cones to protect it. Maasi is amazing! After my 160-foot fir tree fell a couple of weeks ago, ripping up my sidewalk (among other things), I called Maasi for a bid on the repairs. He came promptly, his bid was several thousand dollars lower than the other bids, and he seemed a genuinely nice, caring, thoughtful person. Once the tree was gone and the weather allowed, he and his assistant were here and did a wonderful job of clearing out the damaged cement and pouring the new sidewalk. Couldn't be happier! There are reasons why Oasis concrete gets 5 star reviews. His product is exceptional and price actually was lower than the other five contractors interviewed. But what really stands out is his integrity and kindness. He is just a very kind/nice man. This project was complicated because it was an old house and the cement butted up to an asphalt driveway. The excavator had to be on the asphalt to get the old cement out on the old cement driveway. As a result it scraped up some of the asphalt. Maasi fixed the problem by just extending out more cement at no cost to me.This meant tearing out the asphalt with a jack hammer which took more time. I think the measure of a good contractor is taking the responsibility when a mistake occurs, and they oftentimes do with older houses. The finishes were different for each pad and included a sand washed finish, a trowel finish, and a broom finish. All were great. Something is weird at this place. After posting initial review, I was responded to by a Mark. I responded and updated my review with pictures showing the work was not level. Now Mark is messaging claiming they've never heard of me, despite the message from the account just prior to that says they are Maasi, the person I worked with, and the person all these other reviewers worked with too. In the private message Mark admits he was never at my house and never saw the job, despite responding to my review that my sidewalk was level and there was no mess left behind. I've added more pictures showing all of the conversation, because I'm flabbergasted. I had even offered to remove my review if we could figure out a way to resolve this. Then Maasi responded, and I had a follow up question I wanted an answer for before I called. Then Mark messaged after Maasi, telling me he has no record of me. I was so confused, and trying to figure out if I had the wrong company, so then Mark confirms Maasi works for him, then immediately he says he's going to sue me for slander. I posted a picture of a level, an unbiased source of information about whether the work is level; I'm certainly not lying. Save yourself the headache, avoid this crazy company. read more
