Really terrific experience overall with NW Deck & Fence Restoration. I'll start with the one caveat, which is that they are a small and very busy business, and communication was spotty at times (pretty common issue among service businesses in a similar situation). But their work was well worth the wait, as you'll see from the before/after photos here. The deck that we inherited from the previous owners of our house seemed to be kind of a toss-up in terms of whether it was worth refinishing or eventually just replacing (obviously for a LOT more money), but we were so glad we went the former route, this deck clearly has a lot of life left in it. Dari was friendly and knowledgeable, and his work was fast and high-quality. We'll be hiring them again! read more

For which we are still waiting likely in vain for the difference in the estimate he promised he would mail us more than 1 month ago). phew! Our deck was in need of some love and the power washing was quite a job in and of itself. I called Dari a few weeks ago to talk about a deck and stairs at my daughters house in Portland . I was not sure of when we would would get the project done, but all I can say is WOW.
