I just want to praise Allison Concrete Construction and the ways in which they have improved our…read moreproperty and our lives. We hired Allison Concrete to build a retaining wall behind our barn in 2022. It was next to impossible to get a company out to our property at that time to build the wall, with different companies giving me a variety of excuses. And, then, I called Allison Concrete. Sergio came out and gave me a very reasonable bid and started the work in a timely fashion. We didn't have to wait 3 - 6 months as was the case with more than one company. This year, we had an immediate, and very urgent need, to have a rock retaining wall built due to a failure in the fall by another company. We, again, thought of Allison Concrete in hopes that they could correct the failed wall and my wife's broken heart! Sergio came out "same day" to assess the disaster and see if he could remedy the situation out front. We received Sergio's extremely reasonable bid within 48 hours and quickly hired him to get the job done. Much to our surprise, Sergio put us on his schedule the following week. Within 2 days, Sergio and a helper created the most beautiful wall to the point that we could hardly remember the muddy disaster that we had to look at all winter through our kitchen window!! Correcting the failed wall and building a new wall was a big job and took a large backhoe as well as artistic skills to construct, as some of the large rocks/boulders weighed about 2000 pounds. We are looking at hiring Allison Construction for another job that just came up; concrete footings for a gazebo that will be built above our hot tub. Not only is Sergio the epitome of a true professional, he has a heart of gold and has a sincere desire to see his customers satisfied and happy! My wife is extremely happy with her new retaining wall! Sergio is always on time, cleans up his work space at the end of each day and works hard with no breaks that we saw! In a world of questionable contractors, Allison has never let us down or ever leaves us with any questions, doubts or concerns. If you're looking to hire the best, then Sergio is who you need for your next job!

Victor is easygoing, eager, approachable, affable, honest, and chock full of integrity. He's also a human and like some other reviews note, he spends some extra time just getting a feel for "what does the customer really want" before making a suggestion. He is the type of person who you can actually trust, a rare thing these days. We made our deal, he noted the rains approaching, and he got the job done the very next day. I'm sure he can't always be quite that responsive but it was pretty awesome for me to get such premium service at a price I was comfortable with. When the job was done, there was one tiny little "oops" where my water meter got covered. I mentioned it and asked if I was being too much of a princess asking him to have his guys come back and dig it out, certainly I can spend the 5 minutes to go get my shovel and take care of it, but then again I was a paying customer. Victor did not flinch, he had it done when I looked the very next day. The quality of work done was excellent and this company is now my preference for all things dirt/gravel/asphalt in the future. Thanks so much Victor!

(We've been getting a steady stream of compliments about the new sidewalk from passersby.) But what really made this company stand out was the people. Every one of the team members was genuine, thoughtful, kind, and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting them, and learning about each other. After they finished the job, we asked them if they might be willing to move a giant pile of sod that had been sitting in our back yard for two years. It just about looks like where the concrete is going to eventually crack? It's been a couple months now but maybe it takes longer for that to go away? The patio roof is fine on the straight part, other than the sections are not even - couldn't put the skylight where we wanted because it wasn't 24 inches wide so the skylight wouldn't fit there. all of their crew did not know how to properly fit the 90 degree angle side to the straight side. one side of the angle was not attached properly, but the other side was done correctly. Looks like one of their guys knew what he was doing and how to use the connecting metal brackets but the guy on working the other side of the beam did not. Even though that section will eventually be covered up/closed off with a ceiling it looks unprofessional. Also, on the front facing side of the roof there was a board that stood up in the inside corner that would not allow the roof flashing to lay flat in the inside corner that would hinder the water flow that would be draining to the gutters that we had to fix.
