Sergio is an unprofessional business man. Paid a deposit and had set a date to begin work and he totally ghosted me by not showing up to his appointment to start the job. A week later I called him with a different phone # was able to reach him and as soon as he knew it was me he hung up. Over a month later and he still ignores my calls and emails. He's out there for a quick grab and go. Don't pay him a deposit for work!!!! read more

I just want to praise Allison Concrete Construction and the ways in which they have improved our property and our lives. We hired Allison Concrete to build a retaining wall behind our barn in 2022. It was next to impossible to get a company out to our property at that time to build the wall, with different companies giving me a variety of excuses. And, then, I called Allison Concrete. Sergio came out and gave me a very reasonable bid and started the work in a timely fashion. We didn't have to wait 3 - 6 months as was the case with more than one company. This year, we had an immediate, and very urgent need, to have a rock retaining wall built due to a failure in the fall by another company. We, again, thought of Allison Concrete in hopes that they could correct the failed wall and my wife's broken heart! Sergio came out "same day" to assess the disaster and see if he could remedy the situation out front. We received Sergio's extremely reasonable bid within 48 hours and quickly hired him to get the job done. Much to our surprise, Sergio put us on his schedule the following week. Within 2 days, Sergio and a helper created the most beautiful wall to the point that we could hardly remember the muddy disaster that we had to look at all winter through our kitchen window!! Correcting the failed wall and building a new wall was a big job and took a large backhoe as well as artistic skills to construct, as some of the large rocks/boulders weighed about 2000 pounds. We are looking at hiring Allison Construction for another job that just came up; concrete footings for a gazebo that will be built above our hot tub. Not only is Sergio the epitome of a true professional, he has a heart of gold and has a sincere desire to see his customers satisfied and happy! My wife is extremely happy with her new retaining wall! Sergio is always on time, cleans up his work space at the end of each day and works hard with no breaks that we saw! In a world of questionable contractors, Allison has never let us down or ever leaves us with any questions, doubts or concerns. Sergio and his crew were great to work with! Sergio was quick to respond to texts. They poured a brand new 30ft RV pad and gravel driveway to it for us. The gravel driveway had an issue at first (as the RV had to be pushed up it -a slope- which wasn't easy) and the truck bottomed out in the gravel. Sergio and another guy came over quickly and fixed it and we haven't had any issues since! The concrete pad is perfect and is angled well for good water drainage. read more

I called Sergio and he came out on Easter Sunday to review our project. We wanted a large section of concrete removed and a new pad put in for a pool heater and sand filter. He came out, took notes but didn't offer any advice. He said he would email us a quote but we never heard from him again I texted several times asking for an update and he never responded. I reached out to receive an estimate and was contacted by Sergio. We set up a time to meet which he then didn't show up for. I texted to see if he was coming to find out he had to reschedule. We had an amazing experience with Sergio and his crew from start to finish! Sergio has very creative ideas for making your outdoor space beautiful and unique. After we made the decision to go with Allison Concrete, Sergio said "I will be here after the first of the year". We thought they would start at some point in January but they were at our house on January 2nd. Sergio's team was always polite and professional, showed up when they said they would and they left our yard neat and tidy after each day of work. I wanted a few spots touched up and over a year later Sergio came back and resealed the entire patio and it is very large. I think this would be a great service to offer people for a fee. I know we would be on board with that. We will definitely have him come back and do our driveway. We are thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend. Allison finished our 1600 SF driveway and front walk a few months ago. I got 3 bids, all within about 5% and selected Allison (they were actually the #2 lowest price bidder.) As an engineer, I specified a 5.5" slab with rebar on 18" centers, fiber reinforced 4000 psi concrete and plastic foam expansion strips with dowels between the slabs...more commercial grade rather than residential grade specs. Yes, I know it is a little over-kill, but I can comfortably have a loaded dump truck or concrete truck drive over that driveway and I know it will not crack or shift between slabs. The driveway will outlast me. Sergio and his crew were pretty good to work with and with a little communication on the upgrade details he hustled to get almost all of the details worked out correctly (missed two expansion strips on the sides, and a couple other details aren't 'perfect', but I don't expect absolute perfection.) They took care of a couple surprises that came up with sprinklers (Murphy lives underground). Overall, the driveway and walkway look very good. Water drains as it should with no puddling anywhere. The penetrating concrete sealer beads water on the surface like car wax--better than I expected. The walkway to the porch is nicely curved and looks better than the original and they regraded it up a little to reduce the step height onto the porch. The finished driveway is far superior to the badly cracked-up driveway it replaced. Overall, Allison did a pretty good job. I give them a strong 4. read more

I had a great experience with Sergio from Allison's concrete. They gave me a bid for a driveway, garage, and entrance. The quote came in fast and competitive. I did end up hiring another contractor, which I really regretted. Even though I didn't use Allison's Sergio continued to be helpful through out my ordeal with the other contractor.
