From the beginning, after contacting Pavers N Stones for a quote, they called back same day and I scheduled them to come and help us with a side yard that was just gravel ( installed by the builder and not functional at all). We also had a backyard with a 40 degree slope and was difficult to access and navigate. Both owners Malika & Alex came out and listened to our concerns and shared their vision on how to transform our side yard and backyard slope into something that addressed all our concerns. They even provided one the spot renderings so we could envision what the final outcome would be. I can't begin to explain how they turned our project into something that is showcase quality. Their attention to detail and professionalism is of the highest standards. The crew were respectful of property, genuinely professional and they completed our project in record time. I think this company from the top, down to the crew are hands down the best company in the area. read more

I highly recommend using this company for your backyard pavers project. I called Alex out for 3 separate estimates before we landed on a final design. His pricing was upfront and very reasonable. We had to end up building a retaining wall that we didn't originally plan for, but every project has its unknowns. Alex and his team were able to pivot quickly and get the job done with great attention to detail. I'm going to call him back this fall to get some trees as well. Highly recommend giving them a call. read more

Alex and the Pavers N Stones crew did a fantastic job on a paver patio and walkway for our backyard. Alex and his team were great from beginning to end of the project. We replaced grass on the back and sides of our house with artificial turf, river rocks and stepping stones. Final product was better than expected and well within budget. Alex was very accommodating and maintained clear communication before and during the project. His team was very respectful and kept the area clean throughout the project. I would definitely recommend this company! read more

We are SO pleased with what ALEX, ROBERT, and MALIKA did for us. Their work is top grade and they work fast. PAVERS N STONES changed our wooden deck walkway & path into a beautiful PAVER solution that is far better. They also corrected our 5 year-old back patio. If you need pavers installed correctly and beautifully, call ALEX (503) 472-1238.- These are EASY & GREAT people to work with. For what we spent, we got EXCELLENT value. Couldn't be happier with the results of our project and have already started recommending Alex and Pavers N Stones to other folks in my neighborhood! We originally reached out to another vendor and they quoted us a price well over our budget, which caused us to look at other options. In came Alex. We explained what we wanted and he gave us a very fair and transparent price. He told us exactly why things costed as much as they did, and it made me feel much more at ease going with them over even entertaining the other company. He quoted us 2 weeks to be safe to complete our backyard remodel which included installing a paved patio, a walkway from the driveway around to the back of the house, and a putting green. They ultimately got the job done in a week and that was with my wife and I making small tweaks along the way. Alex was happy to accommodate the small changes we wanted to make mid project and didn't slow the project down at all! The quality of the job is absolutely top notch and I am beyond happy with how it came out. Couldn't recommend a company more! read more

It is hard to imagine how our house and patio and driveway looked before they started working here and now that they have completed their work our house has been transformed into something above and beyond our expectations. The work they did is amazing. They delivered and did exactly what they told us they would do. My wife and I are both very pleased with the outcome. Alex and his crew are top notch. Do we recommend them? YES!!! In case you don't know about this kind of job, it is very labor intensive. We had a great team, and they made this happen by hard work and effort. It will be a joy for years to come. read more

Pavers N Stones installed a driveway, a walkway and performed some sidewalk repairs for me in January 2026. Their work is high quality and their price was very competitive. The driveway and walkway had pavers installed and they look wonderful! I am very pleased. it was a smooth process from start to finish. Once they started the work, they finished it (unlike some contractors who start a job and then disappear). Their crew was very hard working. The owner, Alex, has excellent communication and is very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them! read more

We had a retaining wall with lighting built so that the front yard could be leveled. Alex provided a quote the same day I made the request. The price was very reasonable, but because of a complication the estimate wasn't quite enough to cover all that I wanted done. Alex was very professional and kept the additional amount to a minimum, and completed the work to my full satisfaction! The crew worked quickly and were courteous and cleaned up everyday! The work was completed in only three days and looks amazing! Alex and his crew were great and I'll hire them again! read more

Fantastic experience from start to finish! We had a wooden lower deck that we wanted to replace with natural stone. After getting bids and ideas from a few different local companies, we decided to work with Alex at Pavers N Stones. Our initial decision was based on several factors: Alex listened to our ideas and gave us practical feedback based on his professional experience; we could immediately sense that he would be easy to collaborate with during the project and also important was that his pricing was very competitive. Finally, we appreciated the fact that he is a local business owner who has many years of experience. Alex was very good about communicating the start date and set clear expectations. His crew was fantastic: courteous and hard working and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. The project was expected to take 5 days, but they were able to complete the job in only 4. The patio turned out exactly as we had planned. However, after a few days, we realized that we were not completely happy with the stones that WE had selected for the patio surface. Alex was understanding and was more than fair about pricing the rework. We selected new stone for the surface and a few days later his crew came back to replace the patio surface. We could not be happier with the result and the photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend Alex and Pavers N Stones for their high quality work, fair pricing and friendly and courteous crew! read more

Alex was very accommodating to get the work started on a time that was convenient to us. Although we already had plans and diagrams of what we wanted, Alex came up with fantastic ideas to enhance the project without increasing the bid. The crew is top notch! They excel at putting attention to details and they work with as much care and excellence as if they were doing their own backyard. Not only do I highly recommend them but also I'm looking forward to eventually having them improve my driveway. read more

We needed a new walkway in our front yard after we dug up the old one to remove bamboo that had taken over. I reached out, and Alex had great communication skills. He explained what he would do, made it clear what to expect and and when to expect it, and then delivered on time. He went the extra mile and his crew was professional and friendly. They responded to my project pro request and started a conversation via Yelp. They asked for my address and number right away. I asked about the timeframe for the site inspection and the timeframe for completion following acceptance of the quote and the response was once I provided them with my address and number someone would answer the question. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE and gives the customer the impression they are data mining. Whoever is answering the Yelp leads needs to know the schedule of the people doing the quotes and the work schedule of employees. read more

We were initially looking into re-doing our concrete driveway. I wasn't even thinking about doing pavers (thought it would be out of our price range). Because Alex was so quick to respond to our estimate request and after researching pavers vs concrete, we had Pavers N Stones come out to give us an estimate. After meeting Alex, I felt confident he knows his trade. He listened to what we wanted, spent time answering our questions and explaining what the job would entail. What ultimately sold me was that he said, "the price will not go up." He also promised to be supervising the job daily. Things could not have gone more smoothly. The job started earlier than initially scheduled and was completed in a reasonable time frame. The price was as estimated and did NOT go up even though he had to do more work than was initially thought. (There was concrete under concrete in our walkway and the slope of our yard required a deeper retaining wall than he had estimated). The quality of Alex's work is excellent. He is friendly, honest, hard working and takes pride in his work. We are SO happy with our finished project. It looks so nice that our neighbors long time friend asked her, "when did they build that new house across the street." Go with Pavers and Stones. Don't even mess around with the competition!! read more

Couldn't recommend the team more. They were reasonably priced, worked so hard and built a beatific paver patio.

I first saw their work at a local restaurant/pub. I asked the owner who they used and he informed me Pavers N Stones - giving them a rave recommendation too. Pavers N Stones does exceptional work and they deliver quality results. The owner, Alex, has been in this line of work for over 20 years. He started in the family business and successfully branched out on his own. He is extremely knowledgeable, provided a quote in a couple days, and beats out the competition. His crew did an awesome job prepping and installing our +700sf wrap-around Western Interlock paver patio with a couple sets of steps and a fire pit. They worked thru triple digit heat without complaint and completed a beautiful end-product in 7 days. We look forward to enjoying our outdoor "Partio" space with friends soon! I'm a pretty handy DIY-er and am just amazed at how quickly these guys finished. It's taken me way too long to almost fully rebuild our adjoining Trex deck (part-time on weekends). Their crew of 4-5 guys cranked things out in "one week". It pays to have professionals do the work! Look them up. You won't regret it! read more

We were looking to put in a rougly 650 sq foot patio to connect our house/deck to the shed in the back corner of our yard, and called Pavers N Stones to get an estimate. Alex worked around my schedule to come by, talk about what I was looking for, and give a quote. Fortunately for me, his team had an opening sooner than expected, and were out building the patio within about two weeks. Alex's team was hard working and skilled, and had the entire project done (digging, grading, weed barrier, gravel, sand, and pavers) in three days with a couple of hours on the fourth for a final layer of sand and tamping down. I'm extremely pleased with the patio, and I highly recommend Pavers N Stones. I am extremely happy with the project Alex and his crew did for me and my wife. Our patio was pure dirt and weeds, it was pretty bad! Our patio is small so we had no idea what we wanted to do, so Alex came up with some cool ideas and design in our estimate appointment, we were happy and went with it! I do not regret our choices, it is much better than what we expected. Now my wife can tan outside and my dog can play in the clean artificial grass/pavers. Alex went above and beyond and even added some nice boulders on the side. They really did a miracle with our backyard. The crew was 10/10 and Alex so attentive to make sure we were happy. I work for a large general contractor so have lots of experience dealing with subcontractors on a project. This company stands way above the competition!!! I had 3 estimates and Alex impressed me from the beginning. I had requested him to give me a quote on Pet Turf for my back yard, but he went way beyond. His suggestions were awesome and his quote was perfect for my budget. This project was done in 3 days and his crew even let my huskies stay out and watch them:) They left the site immaculate and I was blown away with the end result. I went from a yard with scraggly grass, lots of holes and mounds of dirt to a beautiful green yard with pea gravel and river rock. Alex checked in both before and after the job to make sure I was happy and he was a great guy to work with. Both he and his crew but in a lot of hard work to make this happen quickly.
