I was able to get a complete French drain solution for less than what they billed insurance for just mitigation (a one time pump-out of a 10'x10' area). Robinson Restoration did a fine job with the actual work (water heater created water damage in the basement), but the way their billing department handled things was awful. The home insurance company was already processing the payment, yet Robinson Restoration's team was extremely aggressive about collecting. Instead of showing patience or professionalism, the billing staff was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. What's worse, they even threatened to put a lien on the home while the payment was still being worked out with insurance. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and turned an already stressful situation into something much worse. Because of their unprofessional and hostile billing practices, we would never use Robinson Restoration again and cannot recommend them to others. read more

Aldo Garcia was the project manager for our burst pipe problem in the crawlspace of our house. I was dissapointed by Aldo. Aldo was not very communicative -only answered my direct questions, didn't provide any detail on the work that the workers were doing unless I specifically asked (which I couldn't do because I knew nothing about the problem until the workers were done and the pipe was replaced). The workers themselves were good, efficient and communicative. If I had more time (and the pipe hadn't had so many rusty holes) I would have shopped around more and might have had to pay less for the job. read more

Yesterday, I experienced extraordinary customer service from Robinson Restoration regarding a catastrophic water situation involving a new refrigerator causing mold and other hazardous bacteria in my home with a recommendation from Wolfer's Home Services. Nate Robinson promptly arrived using an electrical gauge showing me a high number of water, mold in the kitchen cabinet and elsewhere in the crawl space. Within the hour, his first-rate team of Blake and Carter arrived with the appropriate equipment and immediately started removing hazardous items while protecting the interior of my home! They put a transparent covering on my white carpeted stairs so I would not endure an accident. They cleaned every inch of debris before departing my home. I was overwhelmed they responded to my urgent request with blinding speed to protect my health. They are well-trained demonstrating tremendous efficiency and skill in their profession. Our journey started August 1st at 2:30am. The hot water heater leaked all over the floor in the "office area" and where the laundry is done. Bottom line is that we went to our neighbors home to talk with him about situation around 9:00am. Who was there but Nathan Payne who was a friend of our neighbor! It was meant to be ... Nathan just happened to have a humidifier with him; placed that into the room to get job started. That day Nathan had his leader, Ryan, come the next day who assessed the situation and placed two fans in to dry the room and take care of whatever wicked up the wall. It took eleven days to dry everything out and then move onto repairing what was needed to be done. We couldn't have gotten better service and support! We had Ryan, James, Thomas, Kevin, and Rizwan show up. One, or two, of these gentlemen was at the home every day to check on us and the job. They actually were so kind, supportive, answered each question we asked as they were good listeners, with courtesy. Also, we appreciated the fact that when they advised us of when they would be here, they followed through with everything! When we noticed we had standing water in our ducting and crawl space, Spencer came out and gave us a quote and was able to schedule us quickly. The RR team showed up and finished the job of draining and cleaning out the crawl space and then putting up a new vapor barrier, within the same day. My husband, who had been in the crawl space pre and post new vapor barrier said it was night and day. It was a task he dreaded and now he is singing the praises of how clean it is under the house. This makes hiring a ducting company to help replace the damaged parts of the furnace much easier. The cost ended up on the low end of the quote and was very reasonable. If you have any problems with water damage or damage in your home, MAN. ALIVE. do not go through Robinson. I had water damage in my wall nearly a year ago and they came out and ripped my entire bathroom apart and left my toilet and my vanity in my front yard for SIX MONTHS. They promised they would deal with the insurance company and that they would hire another restoration company to come out and finish the job because they don't do that. They never did. They also cracked the ceiling in my kitchen because they stepped on a part that was not supported. Luckily Zip construction came out and saved us. It was awful not having that bathroom for six months. Zip also worked with me to get the insurance to cover what they did. My bathroom is beautiful now. It really affected my kid not having a bathroom. Now an entire year later Robinson is harassing me to pay them over $6000. calling me all the time at work and sending emails. I didn't even know that they never got paid by the insurance until about a month ago. They have missed their window to file and are trying to put the collection on me, they even threatened to put a lien on my house. If you need help with damage in your house, do everything you can to avoid Robinson. I'm hearing from other people who went through Robinson that they are having the same issue. I never leave bad reviews but honestly felt I had to for this company. We had some water damage in our crawl space that we needed an estimate for. A very professional person came over and did a great initial job looking at everything and said he needed an asbestos sample since our home was built in 2001. All great to this point. Then I was handed off and didn't hear from someone for a full week. At this point I called in and was assured I'd be called back, which never happened. I found a different company that came over, handled everything very quickly and efficiently for a reasonable cost that came in exactly at estimate. In the meantime I told Robinson I wouldn't be needing their services anymore due to lack of communication and they sent me a bill for close to $1,900. I would avoid at all costs. read more

Robinson Restoration came to my daughter's home to dry out water damage from a broken pipe. I was very impressed with their expertese even bringing in a licensed electrician to set up portable power units to power fans, heaters and dehumiidifiers.
