After our HVAC maintenance this year the HVAC tech said it was time. I called around for prices, and also had the price from the maintenance company which was incredibly expensive. I was concerned I might have a rodent in my duct so I started calling around to duct cleaning companies. I got a couple of quotes that felt really high. At Eager Beaver they had transparent pricing based on the number of vents I had. Once I counted and got the quote it was cheaper than the others so we scheduled. They texted when they were on the way. I work from home and have little kids at home so the day was a juggling act but the crew was communicative and great to work with. I have a WhisperGreen exhaust fan in our bathroom with a motion sensor. It is constantly on, and speeds up when it detects someone in the room. Unfortunately, when I tried cleaning it, I kicked up dust into the vent and it clogged our roof exhaust screen. This created static pressure and caused the exhaust to vent faster than normal. Eager Beaver was able to clean the vent which allowed our system to operate normally. Three things that are important to me when working with contractors - 1) Reliability - Eager Beaver quickly replied to my initial inquiry, asked some questions, and gave a quote. They scheduled and showed up on time. After a search to see where it vents out to he figured out and fixed the issue at no charge being completely honest with us of what the actual issue was. The company did an outstanding job in cleaning my ducts and also testing every duct for air pressure. Two of them had little to no air pressure. The technician got into my very narrow crawl space and found two of the ducts no longer actually connected in the system! There was a 2 foot gap! He very kindly went to the nearest Home Depot, got the ducting parts needed to repair and returned and installed them. He figure about 40% of the ventilation was just staying in the crawl space. He did all this extra work for only 50 additional dollars! His through evaluation of my ducting system, not just simply cleaning the ducts, located a serious problem that he quickly and cheerfully fixed. This company is an absolute treasure! read more

I came to EBDC after a recommendation to have my dryer vent cleaned. I was scheduled for an afternoon service. The cleaning crew called after their first call in the morning. We made room for an early start. When they arrived, we talked for a few minutes about my situation. Living in a condo I share dryer venting. The guys took it upon themselves to make sure my situation was taken care of. They cleaned both sides (vents) of the condo to make sure the vent I used was clean. We did some tests with the dryer exhaust and found that I was still operating with a blockage in the vent. They went so far as to come up three floors and run the vent cleaner through the dryer side. They came out with a cubic foot of lint! Remember, have your vents cleaned annually! I let mine slip for five years. EBDC helped me immensely both with their scheduling and level of service. I'm glad to be the first one to leave a review. Mike came out today to clean 12 of our ducts and from the looks of it, it looks like he did a great job. We had noticed a cat urine smell in the house and thought maybe it came from our vents/ducts. Mike told us that a couple of our ducts had what looked like a gap/dent, which could have been caused by an animal getting in there, which would explain the smell. He put extra sanitizer to make sure no smell was left. Hopefully this is where the smell came from. For 12 ducts we ended up paying $369, which averaged to $30 a duct. In my opinion, the price is decent. Mike is very nice and will answer any question you may have. I asked him if I was supposed to tip for a service like that and he said no. He could have been greedy and said yes but he didn't, which in my opinion is very professional. read more

They did an amazing job, laid down protective fabric for my carpets in ADDITION to wearing protective booties on their shoes.
