Can't rave enough. Had yelp send out requests to multiple companies for duct work cleaning. Matt responded almost immediately. He was by far the most reasonably priced and also had a special that included dryer vent cleaning as well. He was available to come the following day at 8am. How could I say no? He showed up the next day exactly on time, walked the home and then got to work. He found some unexplained rust at the bottom of our furnace. He had a theory about why it was there and after the work was done in the house, turned things on to try and prove or disprove the theory with our AC. I'm grateful because now I know there is an issue and can get it resolved before the summer when we will need the AC. He also found that our ducts were not connected under one room of our home. He let me know and then offered to repair them for a minute additional expense. Done! He even tried to fix a weatherproofing strip that popped up while he was here! Overall, I will keep this company name and number for future work and recommend them to anyone and everyone that asks. Wow, how can duct cleaning be this difficult?Came home and found dust and debris all over my bathroom counter and floor. Reviewed camera footage and they did not seal all air registers to have the most amount of suction at the air register being cleaned. Imagine a vacuum hose with multiple holes in it, obviously the suction at the end will be compromised until you cover the holes. Changing the return air filter was included in the service, they stripped the top lever to lock the door against the filter. No mention of that after their service. John and Jaden cleaned our air ducts and dryer vents today. They were wonderful and we enjoyed their help. Just the dryer vent alone made their visit worth it. We had no idea how little air flow we had until our dryer broke. The appliance repairman said the lack of air flow was really bad. John and Jaden discovered not only a TENNIS BALL in the duct but much, much more lint than we thought possible. I regularly vacuum the lint trap area of our the dryer and through this experience discovered it's not enough to prevent having the dryer venting system from getting this service done. We have no idea how the ball got in there unless kids from the previous owner may have shoved it into the exterior vent. Who knows?? The appliance repairman said many of the new designed dryers do not prevent lint from getting around the traps designed for this one purpose. Kinda mind blowing. I have had my vents cleaned before by another company over the years. I have never felt like the job was great. We just continue to battle dust in the house and no matter how much we clean and change furnace filters and many other things we just could not get it in check. I started reading a lot recently about vent cleaning and I am sure there are a lot of good companies out there that do a good job but I was very interested in how Power Vac does the cleaning. Instead of pulling all the debris in the vents into the house they hook up to the furnace and draw everything backwards toward one central point. At each vent or air return they use compressed air and a whip on the end to dislodge and allow the debris to be pulled back towards the furnace for collection in their system that is attached. This made so much sense to me in the process they use and it did not disappoint me at all. Sorry I did not get any pictures but the crew did take some before and after and it was night and day improvement. Hats off to John and Shawn (hope I got the right spellings) they did a great 10 job and customer service. They arrived on time explained the process. We toured the house and identified all the vents. I did go through the day before and made sure everything was accessible for them. They helped us work around our 3 cats and dog so we could keep them from trying to escape outside. During hookup their machine we kept blowing out the GFCI outlet in the garage and it ceased to work. Probably one the only outlets I have never replaced in our house. I was sure it was just it's time. I did replace it the same day myself but found the issue was not the outlet rather one of the load wires disconnected from the outlet. So they did not blow the outlet. But glad it happened so I could fix a safety issue. End of the day and a few weeks later the house continues to be dust free. Happy to say the least. They did advise me to go back to paper filters and ditch the washable ones and why I should and I have. I highly recommend Power Vac if you need your vents and furnace cleaned. They also did our super long dryer vent as part of the deal. Also to note I spent half of what I paid previous companies to do the job. See you guys again in 4-5 years for service. read more

As a first time homeowner, I didn't know that you were supposed to clean your air ducts. I know crazy! And laugh at me all you want but I found out that you had to clean them through a random social media video. :) So of course, after I watched the video, I went ahead and looked for a reputable company that could get the job done. Both were such nice guys and were really knowledgeable! They shared with me what what filters I should be using and other tips.
