The cleaning was thorough as they meticulously went through each vent and the main duct system. As expected there was a slight smell when starting the furnace back up (not dissimilar to how it might smell after being off all summer) but that cleared up quickly. We haven't had them cleaned in the 12 years we've been here (I know, I know...) but I really expected them to be worse. They even replaced the filters on the furnace (I provided them). When they returned to complete the job, the owner kept making statements about me updating the review to 5 stars in exchange for coming back and completing the original job. Read the 4 star review on here, as it was the same with that person as it was with us. Just like everyone elses negative reviews the Groupon is a bait and switch. They came to our house told us everything was very dirty and that everything will need to be brushed no vacuumd so our Groupon was worthless. $450 for a half done job(see pictures of AFTER the original work was done). We requested a detailed invoice of the service and when we didn't receive it I called to find out what the delay was. The person I spoke to just kept reiterating the same thing over and over. How dirty everything was and how they cleaned it and I was to prove to him where it was still dirty. Mind you he was looking at this very same review while on the phone. The last red flag that is they only take venmo AND it goes to a private individual under the name Marlene Gomez Perez. Please do not use this company.

Ivan spoke with me on the phone to discuss what was wrong and what might be the cause that night. The next morning, he was here by 9:30am to trouble shoot. Within an hour the A/C was up and running and Ivan had put everything back as it was. Costs were very reasonable and, more importantly, they were exactly as stated before arrival. I liked most that Whirlwind was great at communicating with me, the customer. Both over the phone and in person. They were clear about the types of problems I could be facing with a 17+ year old system and what the worse case might be (full replacement since my A/C uses a now banned refrigerant). They did the job, but 3 months later a leak a pipe burst and water flowed through the walls down to the first floor (I have a business in the lower portion of the building) When I contacted them they were right on it, and came to the site the same day. When they got here I showed them where they could do the repair from, it was a small attic area beneath where the leak had occured. Prior to them coming I crawled into the small area where the saw that the water had leaked from, a pool of water was still present. I saw a pipe that had bin disconnected. The company came in and I showed them where I thought the issue was. When I told them that I saw two disconnected pipes they (lied) told me that those pipes had been capped off, or closed. I was a little puzzeled about the answer they gave me, but they assured me they saw nothing after the inspection. Ironically I went back after they left and saw that the pipes that had been disconnected where once again connected. I also noticed something else, it was a tight space, but I had AC ducting that is the flexible floating kind that had inadvertantly torn apart, why they did not spend the time to connect the problem I cannot understand. This should give you some insight as to how this company functions!!
