They didn't charge for the service call and had an estimator, Omar, out here the same day. He laid out all the options and we chose our new HVAC. They scheduled our install for the following week, which is unheard of in this post-pandemic world. Randolph and Bryan showed up on time and were quick in their work. They completed the install and clean up by early afternoon and took measurements for a new custom door to cover the HVAC system. Today Andrey came to install the custom door. He was also quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. In fact, everyone involved from start to finish was top notch. The entire process only took three weeks, as compared to five months to replace a broken garage door in 2021 and a year to replace our kitchen in 2022. We already trusted Air Stars because we had them install Mitsubishi ductless units 18 months ago in our granny unit (to replace baseboard and wall heaters and to add A/C). We are very pleased with Air Stars and would recommend them.

It has been 2 1/2 weeks and zero return call. I ended up taking my business elsewhere. Please call people back, it doesn't have to be the same hour, but at least within 24-48 hrs. Also, we received an invoice but nothing itemized, no details to what was done or looked at. I thought that was weird.

My furnace motor failed this winter, and Bobby let me know exactly what was going on. Later, Brandon was kind enough to meet and carefully go over my options. Joel and Mark and their team did an excellent job installing central air in my furnace and a…read moreminisplit in my detached garage. They gave a much better price for doing both at the same time than the other quotes I got, and the install was done quickly and professionally. They also really went above and beyond in terms of follow up maintenance. I had two issues a few months later, both because of my old furnace and not at all related to the AC install they did. One was the old condensate pump died, the other was an old safety switch part in the furnace being flakey. In both cases they came out same day and took care of the issue very quickly and didn't even charge for it. Highly recommend Vortex and will definitely be using them for repairs and any future upgrades I do.
