They weren't the cheapest, but the value was there compared to the upselling by other companies. Scheduling was a breeze, setting up the sales visit and the install day was easy and they were prompt for both. The majority of the paperwork was done online, and payment required the first half at the time you set the install appointment, with the second half collected at the end of install. The guys who did the installation were friendly and respectful. They showed me the basics on how to use the system before they left. It's been working great so far, I can't wait to see how it affects my electric bill!

He said ge would not service it because it will only make it a couple of weeks. They charged me $89 anyways. I called and got a refund since they refused to service it. Nice that they refunded money for service they never performed. They gave me an estimate of over 10k to replace it. I called clean air act. They serviced it up and said it's still has a lot of life left. Now 2026 Chris is texting me wanting to service it on a special of $49. Why? So they can refuse to service it again? They only want to replace units not service them. Here is a picture how they left it last summer. Refused to clean it too. It is still running strong.

Our A/C quit working in the middle of a 100+ degree heatwave. I contacted several companies, but most could not make a service trip to me for several days. I was pleasantly surprised that Whirlwind could make it out the next day. Turns out they are great at what they do. Ivan spoke with me on the phone to discuss what was wrong and what might be the cause that night. The next morning, he was here by 9:30am to trouble shoot. Within an hour the A/C was up and running and Ivan had put everything back as it was. Costs were very reasonable and, more importantly, they were exactly as stated before arrival. I liked most that Whirlwind was great at communicating with me, the customer. Both over the phone and in person. They were clear about the types of problems I could be facing with a 17+ year old system and what the worse case might be (full replacement since my A/C uses a now banned refrigerant). While they checked out the system, they kept me informed every step of the way and I earned a few things. When they finished, everything was put back in place, just as it was when they arrived. Because…read moreI was going to call to get our "VIP" maintenance done for the fall and I got pissed off all over again. Got to find someone else. We got an expensive Daikin system. Here are the bullet points: *they installed the system wrong. Didnt even bother to hook electric up to upstairs thermostat. *it took a couple of repair visits for them to figure that out. In the meantime I had a tech mansplain to me that I didn't know what cold or warm air felt like when I told him the system was blowing cold air when it should be heat. *more "repair visits" *at some point they discovered the upstairs thermostat didn't get connected *"fixed that" * still had problems * finally demanded a manager come check it out. Guess what... they failed to install an additional vent which caused too much or too little (can't remember) pressure in tge system *they fixed that on their dime * our heating and cooling bill dropped about 40% year to year after that adjustment * end of it? No. We've had multiple issues resulting from our VIP maintenance appointments that require them to come back out to fix (like no coolant). They are one of the worst businesses I have ever come across. I would never recommend them. Im finding someone else. We've put up with too much crap for way too long.

Better Air Northwest sent out an estimator (Eric) for free. He was really nice, helpful, and figured out how to solve our issue for a reasonable price! We received the estimate per email a couple days later and unlike other companies, no pressure was put on us to approve the job right away - instead we were given as long as we needed to discuss and ponder. As soon as we approved the estimate, we were contacted so we could get on the schedule. Somehow Edgar and Juan asked and also answered all the questions at the very beginning and we were able to do other things while they did these 2 jobs like the true professionals they are. They started by taping everything in the room with the closet, and it kept everything so clean! (Although they did clean up after - and left the place tidier than it started haha - not even kidding they cleaned our doormat I forgot to clean prior to their arrival!) The attached pictures were provided by them and show the beautiful job they did! But I've seen other little touches that proof they are all about getting the job done right. Could not have hoped for better - I would hire them and Better Air Northwest again anytime for any job they perform!

I was impressed by the process from start to finish and the noticeable difference in air quality afterward. The scheduling process was easy and transparent. I called on a Tuesday, and they were able to fit me within two weeks. The office staff clearly explained the pricing structure (which was fixed based on the size of the house, with optional add-ons like dryer vent cleaning) and sent a confirmation text the day before. The technicians, Andreas & Cody, called me 50 minutes before arrival, right arrived pretty close to the promised time. I knew there was construction down the street so I figured they would be delayed due to stopped traffic. The two arrived in a well-marked truck and was immediately professional. They took time to explain the negative pressure vacuum system they use, which involved hooking up a large hose to the main duct trunk near the furnace. They wore boot covers inside the house, which I appreciated. The cleaning itself involved systematically sealing off all registers and then using powerful air whips into each vent to agitate and loosen all the debris. They showed me the incredible amount of dirt, dust, and junk they removed from the main trunk--it was genuinely shocking and visually compelling. When finished with the vents they took on the dryer. The lint cleaned out of the vent and the filter was surprising. I expect the drying cycles will be quicker with a clean system. The entire process took approximately 5 hours. Once finished, they sealed up the access holes they created cleanly. There were only two rooms where they forgot to move furniture back in place. The immediate difference was significant: the air in the house feels fresher and less "stuffy," and the HVAC system runs noticeably quieter. I am confident that the removal of years of dust and allergens will benefit our household, especially during allergy season. Better Air Northwest delivered exactly what they promised: professional service, clear communication, and excellent results. I highly recommend them if you are looking to improve your indoor air quality.

Their bid was not the lowest, but during the time spent preparing the bid they really convinced me that they knew what they were doing and would not cut any corners. From what I can tell they did not. I would heartily recommend them for any dryer venting needs you might have and suspect they do as fine a job with HVAC ducting as well.

That's when I stopped and calmly interrupted him and said "Hey, this isn't going to go well. I've been on the phone for 30-seconds and you've prepped me for a new unit. I know I might be skeptical, but ... " aaaaand he interrupted and went on a rant telling me that yes I was overly-skeptical (he might be right) and how long he's been doing this and how he knows what's going on with my unit because of his experienced, he raved about how great their reviews are on their website, how they help people when nobody else does, how they help little old ladies and poor people who can't afford service, how they stay open when other companies are closed and don't wanna help." -- In so many words, "they're the good guys!" I offered to share with him why his lead-in had sent up red flags and he continued to tell me why they were the good guys and I was irrational. When he finally finished letting me know that my perception was invalid... I shared with him that consumers are on-guard with repair people because we don't have ongoing relationships and we've all heard of or experienced horror stories ... he dismissed my concerns and told me I was an exception (less than1% of calls ) everyone else just trusts them. This didn't increase my level of trust and I said we'll just go our separate ways. I was definitely the calm one on the phone, though he never got rude (other than talking over me and repeating loudly how great their company was and how unbelievable it was for me to have any doubt at all because read my reviews)... he let me know several times that their company stays busy with all of their other customers! I then read a few more reviews and found others had similar negative experiences on the phone and several had the type of service visit I felt I was being set-up to experience. Happy for you if you had a better experience with them... I couldn't get past the arrogance and dismissiveness of the sales guy priming me for the big ticket.

We called ProHeating a year later to service both and were quoted $89 each for the service call that included flushing the water heater by Cynthia. I specifically asked about the flushing because several sources state it's important and we've never owned one like this before. Two technicians showed up on time and proceeded to do the service and after about 45 minutes came to let us know they were done. When we asked why the water heater had not been flushed they just looked at each other and said nobody told them to do it. They called the office and Cynthia made another appointment to get it done and didn't charge us for the initial $89 for the water heater service. Then a couple days later she texted and said their flushing equipment was down so the appointment is cancelled and she would let us know when we could reschedule. Forward one month and the trouble code comes on the water heater so we call them back. Cynthia says their flushing equipment technician must have forgotten to reset the water heater after he serviced it so she'll send him out in Monday to do that. She also tells us that the pump needed to do the flushing is still on back order so they still can't perform that service. We'll it's Monday now and Bianca called and said their flushing equipment technician won't be coming out today. He's unavailable for the next few months. That's all, no solution for the trouble code or offer to help. They installed an appliance they can't and won't service. They have the poorest customer service I can imagine. I would never call them again.

They were able to quickly secure the unit we wanted and started work at the end of that same week! They provided us with several configurations and we requested a heat pump and furnace with electrostatic filtration and smart thermostat. We also needed them to reroute some vent pipes to make it easier for us to clean the filters. They did not try to upsell us on the equipment or maintenance servicing, and indeed took time to train us in care for the unit ourselves. They completed the installation in a single day and did a thorough job cleaning up after. Quality workmanship, excellent communication during the process and fast service.
