It's been nearly a year now since I had our HVAC system installed, so I have been able to see how it performs in all seasons and I'm ready to write my review. My initial goal with this project was to replace a nearly 20-year old 60k BTU furnace as well as have A/C installed, which the house did not previously have. I had 3 companies come and give me quotes, and eventually decided on Integrity Air. The house is a 1949 cape cod and had a few limitations that had to be resolved during the quoting process. The first is that the furnace and hot water heater are both housed in an outdoor closet on the back patio that had room for no bigger than a 14" furnace. The other 2 companies could only find me a 40k BTU furnace that fit in that space, which was less output than we currently had. Since it is an older house and not as well-insulated as a newer home I wanted at least the same size furnace (heat wise) as our current setup. Integrity was able to find a 66k BTU Lennox furnace that fit and their quote was even less overall than the other 2 quotes with the 40k furnace. The A/C unit they quoted us was also a higher output than the other 2 quotes I received. The larger output was not oversized for both the size and age of our house. The overall quoting process was very straightforward, which I appreciated. The rep that came out (Jace) was very down-to-earth and explained everything very well while answering all of my questions. There was no pressure and it was more informational than it was a sales pitch. It was clear that he was enthusiastic about what he was doing, which was a nice touch. Once I decided to move forward with the project they came early in the morning in early January and were able to replace the old furnace and get the A/C installed all in a single day. The A/C hookup included having a licensed electrician come out to install a dedicated circuit which was coordinated by them and set up for the same day as the install. I liked that they included the electrician in their quote and set that up for me, as one of the other quotes I got included no electrical work albeit being more expensive than Integrity Air. The team of workers was very professional and hard-working and did an excellent job with the install. The only thing that I would have done different in hindsight is something that I didn't even think about at the time of the install. The media cabinet they installed between the bottom of the furnace and the ductwork coming from the house's air return holds a non-standard size filter and they provided a custom filter on install. There was enough room to make the cabinet just slightly bigger to fit a standard size filter so now my options are either to order one slightly longer and not as tall or to pay twice as much for a custom filter to be built for me. Luckily the door of the media cabinet has enough of a cavity in it that the larger filter will still fit but if I had to do it all again it would be something that I would keep in mind. Other than that I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend Integrity Air for your HVAC install! read more

Just another shady HVAC company trying to overcharge people. After A-Temp Heating & Cooling tried to charge me over $300 for a $15 part, I contacted Integrity Air, which I discovered is the parent company of Columbia Heating & Cooling, which has terrible reviews. I asked them if they mark up the price of parts, but they kept dodging the question. After some pressing, they eventually said they do mark the price up but refused to tell me by how much. Huge red flag there! I told them the specific part I needed replaced but they refused to tell me how much they would charge for the new part unless I pay them $109 + $48 per 15 minutes for someone to come out and take a look first. Why can't they tell me the price of the part until after I pay them a bunch of money? It seems obvious to me they're going to jack up the price of the part and don't want to tell me the price beforehand because they know it's way overpriced. It seems impossible to find an ethical HVAC company these days. read more

THis company did a great job installing my AC a few years ago. But their tune-up service was terrible. The first repairman did not tell me a part was damaged and needed to be replaced; he left without replacing it. So a week later I needed AC but it would not turn on. I called several days and left messages, but no response. I had to leave for a couple of weeks and left Integrity a message to repair the AC and the elderly person in my house would pay for any repairs necessary. I finally received a call back 13 days later during which the elderly person and my elderly dog suffered during the many days of high heat, They sent out a different repairman that same day who told me I needed a new part, made the repairs and charged me for the component that the first guy should have done. My AC works but now it now the cover rattles when the fan is on. The AC was quiet and working well before I requested the tune-up. I do not recommend using Integrity Air's tune-up service. Zero recommendations for quality of service or returning phone calls. It was dangerous and unconscionable to leave elderly in that heat wave for nearly two weeks before responding to my phone calls to fix the AC. read more

Wonderful service and quality work! They worked us in on short notice during a major heat wave when our air conditioning unit and furnace suddenly quit working. It was wonderful and an unexpected blessing to have such a great company take care of us on short notice like that! Their workers were professional and efficient and did an excellent job. They stood behind their work and came back to do a needed adjustment to the system on short notice, again during a heat wave. Pedro has been exceptional in his follow through, communication, attention to detail, promptness and overall professionalism. Jessica has done an excellent job of scheduling appointments and keeping me informed of all the details. They guys are knowledgable, professional, and friendly folk who stand by their work. I've had them come by about four times now over the last two years for an initial quote, install, service, etc. and they are always on time and prepared for the job. We bought a new build house and decided to add the AC unit. We were sold a unit we did not want and when I went to speak with the company about getting a different unit since this was not the unit I wanted they said they cant help. I spoke with the "Owner" Kyle and he said its your issue and would not offer any assistance. As far as new installer I would not recommend they don't care about their customers. Extremely responsive, friendly and professional. When our heat went out just before the holidays, other companies said they may be able to get someone out in a few days, but even then wouldn't be able to even tell me morning or afternoon. I'd just have to wait around all day. Integrity was able to get a great guy named Paul and his assistant out the same day at an appointed time. Paul was able to get the heater up and running and gave me his card in case a follow up was needed. A couple months later we needed a follow up, and sure enough Integrity was on it. The AC works great and cools house 2-story 2100-square-foot house perfectly. We're very happy with how quickly they were able to bring it out and install it. Great service, great company. Our A/C had been out for a week, and despite my husband's attempts, was still not working as temps climbed well into the 90s. The scheduler returned my call promptly, and Paul and his training assistant arrived right on time the following morning. They quickly diagnosed my A/C unit, explained what it needed, and fixed it within an hour and a half, all for a very reasonable price. we had a new outdoor AC installed by them about a couple of years back. Since it was the tail end of summer, we really did not need to run it that time. The next may, when we turned it on, the AC would not work. Turns out the gas had leaked.. Fair enough, we called them, and they sent this person with really shaky arms who told me it would be a minor fix... and then an hour later I saw him soldering a patchwork on the thin grid of gas inside.. Coming from a tech company, I could see the solder was not that great... but it worked. this year, when we turned it on, same deal... figuring the gas had leaked, we called them again. I asked on the phone if there was anything I could do (after ensuring the filters were clean etc.) .. 'No, the tech will take care of it.' The tech comes, unlocks a side screw, resets a red switch on the AC, and the proceeds to charge me $98. He then calls up his manager, since even he was not too thrilled about making someone pay for something that was not a breakdown, but the manager apperently gave him a hard time, and he had to bill me. I never usually argue with the techs as this is not their problem, but these guys seem to have declined on the quality side. Tons of new homes are being built in Hillsboro, so I am sure they will be called in over the next couple of years..... read more

What can I say? Job well done!! From quotation to completion of AC installation, the guys were on target. Started on time and completed it ahead of schedule. Responding quickly to my initial call, even though their day was full, the scheduler worked in what was to be a quick assessment of my AC failure. The tech arrived within hours and had the system back up in minutes. Courteous, competent. It doesn't get much better than that. read more
