Wow, great crew. They installed new furnace in under 6 hours and I have heat again. Under budget and on time. Hauled away old furnace too.

Very honest company! I have always been very happy with the service they provided. Their prices are fair and you are able to reach a real person on the phone, a rarity in today's word read more

They were very quick to respond to my messages, showed up on time to both appointments, and installed a new furnace just a few days after the initial contact. Two thumbs up from me. read more

Very happy with my experience with Three Rivers. I had them give an estimate on a new gas furnace. The estimate was delivered promptly and their price was the best price I received on a well regarded brand. I scheduled the work, the installers arrived on time and did a nice job on the install. One thing I really appreciated was their willingness to give advice and share information with a homeowner who likes to ask a lot of questions. read more

Amazing local HVAC company! Responded immediately and placed with a technician to solve our problem. Less than 24H from initial call to being serviced. Can't express how great Brad and his team treated us. Thank you!!! Will definitely return for service and pass along to our friends. read more

Three Rivers Heating and Cooling - Servicing our heat pump. - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Three Rivers did a great job from beginning to end. We needed a heat pump upstairs in our 100-year-old home to provide AC in the summer and heat in the winter. They found the perfect unit, a Mitsubishi Hyper heat ducted heat pump that would provide air to all the upstairs rooms, and work in very low temperatures. Their price was excellent. Scheduling was no problem, and they came out and did a very good job, the cleanest of any contractor we've had. They also did an excellent job of explaining to me about the different electronic/ Wi-Fi thermostats available, and why a nest unit, which was my first preference, wouldn't work. Overall a real joy to work with and we would absolutely use them again when we need our main furnace replaced. read more

After getting an $800+ estimate from another heating company, I brought in 3Rivers to look at the gas furnace. The valve, pilot and pilot sensor were all hosed with no parts availability on a 30 yr old furnace. A new one was the only answer. It cost me $3700 for the installation of a new gas furnace, Jesse and Brad were able to bump up the schedule, and take care of me. Highly recommend these guys, they always call back and are able to talk. read more

We needed at check up of our HVAC system. We were quickly scheduled and Three River delivered.

An amazing company that does a great job. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. They put in our first central air unit (YAY! No more window A/C) & a new furnace. Everyone was friendly and respectful, the job was completed quickly. read more

Brad and team replaced 2 full sets of HVAC units for my home a couple months back. Getting a bid was super quick, the bid itself was appropriately detailed, and their availability to get the job done was also great. I got 3 competing bids at the time, and Three Rivers was not the cheapest, but close to it, which providing better systems than 3 of 4 bids. There were a couple items found during install that changed the bid slightly, but it was all well explained and reasonable. They did a fantastic job and the install work that you can see is very clean. We got to use the AC for a few weeks before the weather turned to no HVAC needed, and now to heating. While I don't anticipate needing them for a new system any time soon, I will definitely be using them for maintenance. read more

I researched HVAC providers in the Portland area and one company stood out, Three Rivers Heating and Cooling (HVAC). Listed in Yelp with an overall 5 star rating, I called Brad for an estimate on a new furnace and heat pump. We had been without A/C all summer and it was definitely time for a new heat pump and furnace which were original in our home built in 1982. The estimate was very competitive but we had to wait two months for them to get to us. But I took this as a good sign, that they were busy in spite of the dozens of competing HVAC companies in the area. The installation was on the day promised and Brad showed up with a crew of guys that were very professional, efficient and friendly. They had to remove a 40 year old furnace which took longer than expected but they never suggested an increase in the estimate. We are delighted with the installation and now have A/C and a toasty heating system. I highly recommend them. read more

HVAC Checkup and Gasline rerouted to free up space in the garage. The gasline ran across the space making it unusable. 3 Rivers HC, rerouted the line along the wall. Freeing up space and eliminating a potential a safety issue. The Technician was professional, well trained and customer oriented. HVAC inspected. The cost was comparable to other quotes. Impressive Team from scheduling to Tech interface & Follow-up. Thanks again, Johnny & Alex. read more

Brad came with an assistant to tuneup my furnace and address the new noises I've been hearing. I was also under the impression that my furnace was over 25 years old (as told to me by other companies) but Brad informed me that the furnace was only 14 years old and the outer ductwork and casing were older but did not effect the working furnace inside. The noises were soon taken care of with one reasonably priced item and he talked to me in a way I could understand "So important", some companies get me so confused (I don't know about all the workings inside a furnace.) I am so happy with Three Rivers Heating & Cooling read more

Highly recommend Three Rivers. Jesse came out immediately to address our issue, gave us a fair quote to repair or replace our furnace and due to the age we decided to replace. His quote was reasonable, and he followed up and was very reliable and great to work with. Thank you! read more

I highly recommend Three Rivers for heating and cooling. After moving to an new home, we discovered that the furnace was shot and the AC was on its last legs. Jesse was quick to come see the unit and provide a very competitive estimate. We were scheduled for the replacement a month out. Jesse called me weeks early because he had an opening in the schedule. Knowing that we were without heat he worked us in. The crew was quick, clean and communicative. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

Brad from Three Rivers Heating and Cooling disconnected multiple vents from our old gas furnace because they were no longer needed after construction. He climbed all the way to the front of our house through the crawl space to put a cap on an open vent that was no longer in use. He checked the furnace and said we had about two years left before it would need to be replaced. Before leaving he checked the carbon monoxide levels the furnace was putting out, "because I want all our customers to be safe !" We were VERY impressed ! We will definitely hire Three Rivers to replace our furnace when the time comes, because we trust them to do quality work at a very good price. We highly recommend you call Three Rivers for your heating and cooling jobs, big or small ! read more

These guys are the real deal, honest and reliable . Super professional and true artist of their mechanical work.

Jesse came out with Hayden and looked at my old furnace TWICE due to a few mysterious issues. I am waiting it out for a new furnace and very much appreciate the advice along the way. Candid, knowledgeable, informative and trustworthy. I will use this service again. read more

Three Rivers came in as a second opinion after our gas furnace failed. The first HVAC service had examined it, and come to the conclusion it was a catastrophic failure, and that the only possible solution was to replace not only the gas furnace, but the air conditioner as well, just in case the air con was sending power surges to knock out the gas furnace. For the low price of $15000 they could handle that for us, and we might as well upgrade to a heat pump the suggested. But we would be without heat for 1 month while they got around to installing it. Brad from Three Rivers arrived for a second opinion and within 45 minutes discovered it was a single bad component. Replacing it cost $250. He also discovered we already had a heat pump, not an air on, although it looked identical to another aircon model, something the first firm failed to identify (as did our inspector when we purchased the property). I highly recommend Brad and Three Rivers, they provide honest and reliable service. read more

Thank you Brad! I would definitely recommend calling for HVAC issues. I got same-day service, and the problem was resolved. Friendly and efficient. This is my new go-to for HVAC issues. read more

Excellent service! We got several quote to put AC into our new house (a complicated job since it's a 1920's bunaglow and there weren't ducts upstairs). We ended up going with Three Rivers because they were the most reasonable, fast response and honest. Brad was the only guy we got a quote from that explained we'd need to do ductless units upstairs, everyone else said we'd be fine with the basic unit downstairs (wrong). Brad and his partner were always on time, respectful and nice and did fast, efficient work. We are 100% happy with the work and how the two units are doing so far. (We've had bad experiences with HVAC companies in the past and this experience was by far amazing!) I definitely recommend Three Rivers. read more

My mini split was not working. I had called other companies to look at it but they either didn't show up or they would not work on this brand (Blueridge). These guys showed up, did a little check and knew what the issue was. Fixed it same day. Don't waist your time with other companies like I did, this is it. Thank you very much for the best service!!!! read more

Woke up this morning to no heat! Brad, from 3 Rivers Heating and Cooling had been at my house three weeks ago to give me a bid for a new furnace. With no heat this morning, I figured the time has come to buy the new furnace, so I called 3 Rivers Heating and Cooling. I talked to Jesse, the other partner in the company. He put me on their schedule to install a new furnace 3 weeks from now -- the earliest they had available. That meant I would be without heat for a while so I asked if they could come sooner, do a diagnostic on the faulty furnace, and maybe get it going again for the short term. Jesse so kindly agreed to come out later that morning. I was so thankful. As it turned out Brad was available sooner, so within 45 minutes he came out to my house. He discovered the igniter was not working and offered to go to the electrical supply store and buy the igniter, and then return and install it. I happily agreed, because otherwise I would have had no heat for the next three weeks. He was back in 30 minutes and installed the igniter. Voila! I had heat! He not only correctly diagnosed the problem, but he was so willing to do all that it took to make it happen that very morning! I can't say enough about the excellent knowledge and superior customer service of this company. I look forward to getting the new furnace from them and then only needing them once a year for maintenance ! read more

Brad(three rivers H/C) is very responsive and flexible to rescheduling (within a couple of days of the original, and the cost is better than others) when the weather drops and may not be perfect for my furnace and A/C service. He texted me to know the overall condition of the system and arrived on time. He took care of the property and put on shoe covers even after I told him that's not necessary. He gave me an overall assessment of the system and finished the work in a little over an hour. I am more than happy to call him again when there is a need. read more

I highly recommend Brad at Three Rivers for all your heating and cooling needs! He is extremely skilled, honest, reliable, professional, courteous and very fair with pricing. Brad works quickly and efficiently but takes time to explain exactly what is needed and cleans up the work area when he's finished. Other companies I've hired would always try and sell me ridiculous service plans "clubs" or try and up sell me on repairs not needed or simply not fix the problem the first time! I have hired him on a couple occasions (the first time during Christmas Holidays!) and definitely plan on hiring him again in the future if any updates or repairs should ever pop up. Call Three Rivers for exceptional service, you'll be glad you did! read more

I called Three Rivers Heating and Cooling and spoke with Brad to explain that I might need a new furnace. He was helpful on the phone and scheduled to come out for an in-house estimate. When he arrived I explained to him that another heating company had done maintenance on the furnace and told me that the heat exchanger in my furnace was rusted and needed to be replaced. That other company provided pictures of what they said was the inside of my "rusted"heat exchanger. Brad looked at the pictures and said the heat exchanger showed normal usage -- and was not damaged and rusty. Based on those picture he said I did not need a new furnace. I was very grateful for his honesty. He made the trip to my house at no charge to give me an estimate for a new furnace, and then - with his great integrity - said I did not really need a new furnace. I asked him to provide an estimate in case I wanted to get a new furnace. He quoted me a very reasonable price for a high efficiency gas Lennox furnace. Brad was very pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and most professional. I highly recommend this company. read more

I'm writing this review and it wasn't even for my house! Three Rivers has done a great job for both of my "kids" (and their families) homes. And most recently not only did they come out during the extreme heat (we were in process of moving my son into new home), but we couldn't have been more pleased with the great service, honesty and fairness. Highly recommend Three Rivers! read more

I cannot say enough good things about these gentlemen! Not only did they do a fantastic job installing my new HVAC system, but they also provided me with a quote that was far better than the competition. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied. I highly recommend Three Rivers Heating & Cooling to anyone in need of heating and cooling services! read more

After 20 years with the same company I had to find a new one and Three Rivers Heating and Cooling came through. I hope we will spend the next 20 years doing business together. I received three quotes to choose from, Brad explained the pros and cons to each and I felt I was able to make an informed decision. Brad even hooked me up with an Energy Trust of Oregon rebate. This company does their homework. Everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it happened. Look no further for a long term partner to help you with you HVAC needs. Thanks Brad, Jesse and Crew! read more

Brad answered the phone and within an hour he was able to come out and diagnose a problem with our A/C unit. He told us all of our options including ones that he wouldn't necessarily benefit from. Brad was extremely knowledgeable about the issue going on with the blower motor of my furnace and was able to diagnose, replace a part, test to make sure everything was in working order--all within a very efficient timeline so that I could get on with New Year's Eve plans.
