Horrible. Ordered via Uber Eats. It was quick but sometimes that's a red flag in itself. We are at a hotel. They didn't send any cutlery or napkins which is just common sense. Next there was no soya sauce. And worst of all - NO RICE ! My husband had to go to a restaurant close by to get a side of rice and some soya sauce. After paying over 70$ this is unacceptable. All this aside, we were hoping the food would be good. Our order was Beef Thai Salad, Ginger Beef, Green Curry with Chicken & Satay Chicken Skewers. They also had a promo for 4 Free Spring Rolls with a 40$ purchase, they turned out to be the only thing edible. I had asked for no onions (huge allergies) and not too spicy. The beef salad had no onions, but also zero flavour on the beef. The lettuce had some lime but not any flavour. It was a few cucumbers and lots of bland unseasoned beef. Is super hot chili flakes the only option here ? It looked like the beef should of been really good, but it was like they had washed the beef off completely of anything. The chicken skewers were big but they seemed to be really fatty with gristle - the meat wasn't certainly chicken breast. Even the peanut sauce seemed off. I ate a few bites and spit it out. The ginger beef was a large order. They sent the sauce on the side. Again the meat was super low quality. Lots of gristle etc. Couldn't eat it. My husband didnt mind his green curry, but was less than thrilled about it not coming with any rice !! It too was of poor meat quality. It all smelled quite bad . All in all was so very disappointed . Would never order from here nor recommend. Huge waste of money. read more

Dropped by for an early dinner after a soccer game. Resto was empty, as expected. They're doing a lot more pick up orders than peeps coming in for a sit down meal. Dishes we ordered: - Pad Thai w/chicken. It's flavourful but lacks the tamarind flavour of authentic Pad Thai. They use Pho noodles instead of mid width Thai noodles. Spice level is good. - Pineapple Fried Rice with Beef and Shrimp. Another flavourful dish. There are pineapples but doesn't add much to the dish. - Chicken Chow Mein. Big pieces of chicken with egg noodles. Tasty. - Char Kuey Teow with Chicken. Very tasty and flavourful. This would've been a perfect meal except that I kept biting into, what seems like small pieces of shells (clam shells?). Dishes were big. Each dish enough for two to share. Wonderful restaurant!!! Great food, large dishes, reasonable price. If you are ordering something you want rice with, you need to order rice too (duh). People are really friendly. Both Chinese and Thai food are excellent. My favourite is Thai red curry. read more

Don't set your expectations high at this place. I am not sure what dishes are good here to have so many yelpers giving 4 and 5 stars. I ordered the pad thai and salt and pepper wings. The wings were ok, not bad. The pad thai was not what you would get in Thailand. It was on the sweet side, with hints of ketchup in it? I thought it was more of the HK style pad thai. I requested it to be spicy so it had the spice though not as spicy as what you would get in Southeast Asia. They did not have the usual condiments for Thai food here too. So I do not think this is a place for authentic Thai food at all. Maybe the other Asian dishes would be better choices, or if you like your Thai dishes to be toned/watered down. read more

Deserves 10 or more stars. Wonderful people and great food. I was traveling with parents and child to Vancouver when we have decided to stop for food. When we sat down, we were given hot tea right away. We have ordered and as the each food arrived, we were amazed by the huge portions. We did try each other meals. They were all fresh and very tasty. Portions are enough for lunch and dinner. Our waitress was very attentive, super friendly. We will be back next time we are traveling to Vancouver. read more

Lamb Green Curry was on point Service was so good, the waitress was super attentive and knew what we needed before we even asked for it. The pork chop was a bonus but not something I would get in a Thai place (still good though), and the Pad Thai needed some extra fish sauce. But overall, would visit again! read more

Reading the previous reviews this place seems like a hit or miss.. I had to do a few errands and saw this establishment. Hubby seemed a bit hesitant but I said EFF it and let's try something different besides the same ol, and he is glad that he said yes! Walked in and looked a bit grimy and was outdated but had 2 tables and so many takeout orders. That is a good thing no? 4 different Skipthedishes and Justeat.ca delivery drivers picking up massive lunch orders!! The waitress who I think is the owners wife? told us to seat ourselves anywhere since it was almost empty so we sat down and she came and presented us the menu as well as the lunch special menu. She brought us delicious tea and water and we ended up ordering the Pad Thai lunch special, chicken green curry, 2 orders of roti canai and Thai ice tea! Presentation was clean and pretty nice for what we expected would be whatever and the taste was actually surprisingly delicious! The Thai ice tea wasn't as good as the ones I've had elsewhere but the roti canai is almost as good as tamarind hill in New Westminster and the curry wasn't too spicy and the coconut milk yummmmm! Didn't even come out to $30 for everything including taxes! Will be back again to try the rest of the specials! read more

Go somewhere else, quality has declined over the years. Today we ordered sweet and sour chicken and were given pork. It was tough, dry and thready like pork. It tasted like it was made a few days ago. For religious purposes my family doesn't eat pork. Unfortunately several of us ate it before realizing what it was. We called the restaurant and the owner argued with us that we were wrong and would not even refund the dish. He wanted us to drive the dish back 20min to show him. Horrendous service. We'd had a similar experience in the past where I choked on a staple that was in the roti. They didn't seem to realize the danger in that but at least they apologized. He should have at least owned up and apologized. Business must be booming to treat customers so poorly. We've given them enough chances to see if they improve but if anything the service and quality of the food has gone down hill. Save yourself the disappointment and eat somewhere else read more

Didn't think there was a good Thai place close to our house, but I was wrong! This restaurant is a hidden gem along 120 St. and 72 Ave. Great tasting food, big portions (think leftovers!), and friendly staff. What more could you ask for! Highly recommend the Pad Thai (we got shrimp and tofu) and the Sweet Basil Spicy Fried Rice! But honestly, everything here is delicious! Will definitely have to come back. read more

I ordered green curry with chicken -take out. The green curry was quite good but I didn't like the chicken. It came in a separate Styrofoam container and was deep-fried. In fact all the meats when ordered with Thai curry come deep-fried, I think. It was my first time going there and I have to say I was disappointed. I hope the cook and manager read this and perhaps will stop deep frying the meats. Again, the green Thai curry tasted pretty good, but I really did not like the chicken at all. One More Thai is a very affordable Asian restaurant in Surrey, and offers different types of Asian cuisines such as Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean, Chinese, Japanese and even Vietnamese! I felt that the food quality was very good for what you pay for ($10-$14 per fish) and it was actually better than most of the Thai places that you can find in downtown Vancouver! We had the $80 dinner set for 6-8 people which was more than enough for 7 of us, so we found that to be extremely reasonable. There was a lot of seafood, vegetables, and meat in the set and everything was delicious! The only thing that I didn't like too much was that the sambal prawns were a bit too salty but I guess I should have eaten them with rice. The best part of the meal for me was probably the lamb curry because it was probably the most tender Thai lamb curry that I've ever had in my life! I had so much of it with the fried rice and I loved how the potatoes were so soft and delicious without being overcooked and crumbly. The roti was also quite good but I felt that they added a bit too much sugar and the curry sauce could have been spicier. In general, I was very satisfied with my meal and I felt that it was of good value. The restaurant was surprisingly empty on a long weekend (only three tables) but there were plenty of people ordering take out! PS. This has become one of my favourite places to eat in Surrey. Impressive portion sizes and the service is fantastic. The family that owns the restaurant is so friendly and accommodating. My friend is vegan and introduced me to this place as they are able and willing to modify dishes to be vegan-friendly. I've had the Thai, Chinese, and Malaysian cuisine here and all have been delicious. I have dreams about the chili wings. The regular prices are already more than fair but the lunch special prices are awe-inspiring. In summary: great staff, great food, and great value! read more

Just in the most unlikeliest places, in the gorgeous sea of South East Asian/Indian restaurants and shopping, a hidden Thai gem can be found at this major intersection, a 5min up the hill from the 72nd exit off the Alex Fraser bridge. Was here for a quick bite and getting ready for a meeting next door so ordered the chicken satays, which were grilled right, and not overly oily. Service is fast and friendly. Decor isn't as elaborate as DT Vancouver but neither are the prices, menu pretty reasonable. Comfortable seating, bench along the wall. A warm red theme throughout. Also carry some Malaysian and Singapore dishes, so the extra star for me to return. Free parking in front. read more

This restaurant is more Asian fusion than Thai food. We ordered Pad Thai and Mee Goreng for take out. The mee goreng faired better in the commute. I was disappointed. I had the Char Kuay Jeow which was exactly what I wanted going in. It was bland. I asked for chilli oil which helped but I also put my spring roll dipping sauce on the noodles to get some more taste out of them. There were no seasonings on the table. The items on the menu are obviously not just Thai. I don't have a problem with that. I enjoy having multiple Asian options as long as they taste they way they should. Honestly not sure why the reviews here are so great... Walked in on a weekend night for dinner because the Indian Bistro was super packed. Didn't want to wait in line so this was up next on Yelp. Not busy at all with two tables with all food set on their tables and dirty plates on all the other tables. There was one lady doing takeout orders that took forever to seat us. Seated us on a dirty table and then we asked to move to another table. Tea was served super late after she took another take out order and received phone calls. We waited about 30 minutes for 4 chicken skewers to come out.. super salty and peanut sauce wad so plain. Waited another 30 minutes for our red chicken curry and guess what..? We find a strand of hair in our curry. Pad thai didn't come out until we stood up to complain about our food having hair in it. Chef said we could leave without paying for anything so that was fine but really????? Weekend night with one server who is taking phone orders all night is pretty unexpected. read more

We have been here a few times and sadly with each visit here the food seemed to disappoint me more and more. This last time I went I had red curry, which was pretty watery and pad Thai which tasted like its main ingredient for sauce was Ketchup. I remember having flavourful authentic Thai food when I I totally discovered this place, but I was sadden by this last experience. Order #326996883, ordered Sept 6, 2021, at approximately 4:15pm included a Tum yum Soup - which was disgustingly sweet, the name itself implies hot and Sour, but to get a soup that tastes so disgustingly and obnoxiously off kilter is terrible. the person who answered the phone, tells me it is the powder they use, even more disgusting - thought that this was a restaurant which would make it from scratch, or worst case scenario use a ready mix paste but to be informed that it came from a powder of unknown origin is even more appalling - heaven know what carcinogenic preservatives in that powder - never again. I have become a pretty big Thai food fan, and as a result have been looking for something good close to home. Most people in the Surrey/North Delta would actually recommend Thai by Thai, but I think that One More Thai is actually much better. One More Thai is a small family owned restaurant in a complex on the Surrey side of Scott Rd and 72nd. A sign of a great Thai restaurant is the smell of basil and lemongrass as you are walking in, and this is definitely the case at One More Thai. I have had both take out and dined in at the restaurant and have no complaints about the service. They cater the spice level down to whichever level you prefer, which is nice because I've had some Thai food that has been extremely bland and Thai food that is very spicy. My typical order is pad Thai, one of the curries, and a beef dish. Also for pickup orders they will give you a free sweet and sour pork if you spend over $30 and mention it to them on the phone when ordering. read more

So happy about my meal from here! I ordered takeout dinner for my sister and I and we were both so satisfied. My sister got the wonton soup and one roti canai. For myself, I ordered the mee goreng, one roti canai, and a Thai iced tea. The mee goreng was huge and i've managed to get three meals out of it. It was so good and loaded with proteins. Totally worth what I paid (I think it was about $12-$13?). The roti canai was super filling on it's own and came with some kind of coconut curry. Tried their tom yum soup. It is pretty good; it has a light flavor and a decent amount of seafood (but not as much mussels as in their menu picture). I just wish it had a bit more sour taste. My friend's lamb curry was a bit on the sweet side but in general she enjoys their curries. Their music is on the loud side so hard to carry a conversation in the restaurant. Overall, I wouldn't mind returning to try another dish. read more

The food was delicious. The prices are reasonable for the portions they serve. The waitress was very attentive. My friends ordered pad Thai (one was vegetarian) and I ordered the tofu and veggie curry with fried rice. Would definitely come again when we're in the area. read more
