Tasted just like shredded lettuce. Do not recommend

The server was rude and gave a lot of attitude when we asked for extra napkins. (we each only had 1) The summer rolls were filled with sooo much lettuce, and were extremely messy. The peanut sauce was good though. Wouldn't order this appy again. The green curry was fantastic. The Tom Kha made everyone rush to the washroom.

I was craving Thai and this spot was great! My fave dish was the red curry (chicken) - I loved the flavor! And it was mild and enjoyable for me. The spice level is determined by you! Also ordered the pad Thai and it was great. We got it with tofu and tofu was crispy. Last dish we ordered was garlic pepper sauce tofu. You get to choose what you want for protein, but I just wanted tofu. The dish was okay, sauce was good but I think better to get shrimp or another protein. Service was fast and they checked up on us a few times. Food was on the table within 15 minutes. The space has Asian/Thai decor and I think it's a great spot for big groups too. Overall, enjoyed the curry and pad Thai. Can't wait to come back for them!

Amazing food. Friendly service. Decent portions. We were in the neighbourhood for a soccer game and decided to stay around after the game. It's Mother's Day. And one of my wife's favourite dish is Pad Thai. There's not a lot of options for Thai food in the area then I found this little gem. Good thing we came soon after they opened. This place is small and a lot of the tables were marked reserved and they only had one table for 4 that's not. They're also pretty busy for takeouts. The Pad Thai and Pa-Nang Curry were really good. The spice level we picked for both dishes is medium. Flavourful, tasty, satisfying. Had a good kick. We highly recommend these dishes. The Pad See Iew is quite tasty as well. A good level of soy sauce flavour, not too strong. We have not found a Pad See Iew that our kids liked until tonight. Our kids really liked this dish. We will definitely come back to Chada Thai if we're ever around the area.

Chada Thai is my favourite Thai place in Coquitlam to go to eat .The staff is very friendly and helpful in this cozy place. This authentic Thai restaurant has many food options which will not disappoint you.I would recommend the lunch menu which is a great value and delicious. They usually have some limited special items which are definitely worth to try .My favourite is Red chicken curry.

I've been here 5 times and loved it every single time.. Good authentic THAI favours! Great Service!! Lunch has great specials. Dinner is a little more pricey compared to other Thai restaurants I've been to, but you can taste the difference (= The location is small so I recommend making reservations any day of the week. MUST TRY: Pad Thai, any of the curry TOM YUM SOUP

I've had food court, mediocre and authentic thai food. This is better than food court, but not as good as authentic thai food! Although this place is given 4 stars on yelp and has won an award in 2014, i give this place 3 stars. Menu is not as extensive but has your staple foods such as pad thai, skewers and curry. However, its a bit overrated and in comparison to Vancouver thai food, (especially when its rates the best in Poco), it deserves a 4. All your curry/main dishes come with rice, an is entree style. Convenient but i wanted family style servings. Ie: order a bucket of rice and get a full size curry dish. Therefore, portions are small for the price they charge. Ie, curry chicken $18 Service was good, the main man tried really hard but ended up dipping his finger in my sauce to taste it? Nice guy, i wont hold it against him but was a bit weird. Overall, i'll keep looking for a better thai reataurant in poco. This is not my "go to" thai restaurant in poco

I'm not usually excited when my car needs some fixing up--but when I can try out a restaurant I've been meaning to get to for over a year--little car, you can keep on squeaking! Showed up solo during the business lunch rush (read: full house!) and was served cucumber infused water (nice touch!) and a clear broth with spinach right away. Great service! The lunch menu is simple - one page - all $10 and all served with the soup, rice and crispy wraps (delish!) My chicken basil was fabulous. I devoured the entire bamboo-basily thing! They don't offer take-out at dinnertime, but it's fair game at lunch. It's a surprisingly good find in a plaza overrun with chains (2 Starbucks, a KFC, Mr Mikes, Bread Garden) and I wish it existed back when I lived in this 'hood.

Pad Thai lunch set. Skip the soup.

Food was fine. It's in a strip mall but trying to be upscale. Service was okay. We were mostly bothered by the floor manager who seemed stressed and kept checking in with us on whether 2 people in our party were coming. They arrived within 5 minutes of our being seated but we were asked three times about their whereabouts and the restaurant was only half occupied. They have a good set lunch menu but no appetizers which we thought was strange. Also the soup that comes with the lunch set tastes like sweetened bland warm water and and was brought out after we had finished our meals. As mentioned earlier, the main food was fine but some things need to be sorted with the floor staff.

Best Thai in tri cities .. in Vancouver. High end.Upscale thai at it's best! delicious Green Curry !!!! One of my favorites. Coconut milk, green curry paste, palm sugar, fish sauce, kaffir lime leaves, and Thai basil loaded with chicken, peppers and eggplant. .

The sauces were also loaded. For example, the fish cake came with sweet chili dip but they added cucumber, red onion, and peanuts in. I truly appreciated the added depth of the sauce. standout is the papaya salad (fresh, crispy and tangy!), crispy wonton (hot, crispy, and meat was tender and juicy inside, without somehow making the outer shell soggy), and pandanus chicken! I have never seen pandanus chicken at a Thai restaurant before and wanted to try it out! I could really taste that the pandan seeped into the chicken! chicken was juicy, very well marinated (sweet, salty and umami mixed!) and hot. I could eat so many of those. my least favourite was the kao soi beef. maybe i wasn't used to curry sauce with noodles and preferred rice, but even then there was a strange aftertaste in both the sauce and beef. the crispy noodles were also more chewy than crisp, so I didn't really like the texture.

Bite after bite, I could not find the zest of flavors that's distinctive of Thai food. It lacks the tamarind, lime, chili and fish sauce in every dish. Very disappointed! *Garlic Wings: tasted so plain, barely marinated *Crispy Fish with Tamarind Sauce: very crispy breading, sauce was too sweet no trace of tanginess *Tom Kha Soup: not spicy, not tangy *Pineapple Fried Rice: very plain *Pad Thai: we chose beef for protein. Beef was not velvety tender although the redeeming factor of this dish is the very al dente noodles *Pad Pak: tasted like any Asian mixed veggies *Durian Sticky Rice: tasted more salty than sweet, the saltiness failed to bring out the sweetness of the durian *Mango Sticky Rice: this dish failed as the three ingredients didn't blend its flavors together.
