Ordered some take out. Food was quite good. The massaman curry was my favourite. Service was lovely. Restaurant was very cozy!

This place has been around for years but somehow my schedule never matched their business hours but I finally got to try it recently. We came here for lunch as I wanted to try the lunch menu. It had a pretty good selection for lunch and prices were fair. I ordered their version of pad gra pow. It came with fried egg and choice of appetizer. 1 Spring roll with broth or 3 chicken wontons (fried or in soup). I had the wontons in soup. The wontons were forgettable. The pad gra pow was average. I found the sauce to be on the lighter side. It was not very flavorful. The saving grace was the fried egg which was done really nicely. I was pretty disappointed with the dish. It was not very busy during lunch though the take out was busier. I may come back again just to try a few more dishes as they have won several awards in the past for best Thai food in Burnaby.

Solid spot for Thai food in Burnaby! We got a soup, a small rice and the Pad Thai to share. Food was tasty and service was prompt. Mango sticky rice was nice but a little pricey for the portion.

Got my usual chicken green curry with medium sized rice. Couldn't even finish the rice as it was too much for me. The family operated business provides great service. Tried their Thai iced coffee for the first time and I loved it. So good.

Always very friendly and attentive; amazing service. I had the sukhothai noodle soup this time and it was delicious. They were very helpful with my grandfather's wheelchair and took care of us.

I rarely eat Thai food in Vancouver so I was glad to try a different spot. We had the satay chicken skewers which had a really yummy peanut sauce and the chicken was well marinated. Thai iced tea was pretty good. We shared a Panang curry with chicken and it had a nice flavour to it and it was on the sweeter side. Lastly we had the Pad See Ew also with chicken and the chicken in this dish was on the dry side. We didn't plan on ordering so much chicken though! Not mind blowing but good.

    Drunken seafood, rubbery squid

Mostly awful! We ordered four dishes for takeout last night, the pad Thai, drunken seafood, sweet-and-sour chicken and the pad eggplant. Only the pad Thai was good. Everything else was horrible. The drunken seafood squid was rubbery and flavorless. The sweet-and-sour chicken was horrendous. We couldn't even eat one bite. We threw it in the garbage, the eggplant was a bowl of mush like a three-year-old just boiled all the vegetables until they were a soggy mess. I love Thai food for the bold flavours but this all lacked herbs or flavor. It was all a soupy mess. Look at the photos. When I called to complain the manager couldn't care less. She just kept yapping saying it was probably the condensation that made it so watery. I told her this food was an embarrassment for the Thai culture and she should give me a refund for three of the four dishes because they were so horrible. She refused she's not the owner she doesn't care, I would never eat there again. I spent $75 and 80% of the food went into the garbage. I'm very annoyed that she thinks we as customers don't deserve better when we're paying good money. And by the way, if you place an order on the phone, they might forget part of your order, like they forgot the hot sauce for our order. The manager thinks that's fine that they just forget stuff so she says better to do it online, ridiculous and unprofessional that's for sure . Just look at the lime on the left in the photo that they gave me with my pad Thai, how could they serve that to the public so gross?

Omg sooo f****** good…read more Service is good. Place is nice. But the most important part? Everything we ordered were amazing, price is right and portion is good. Tom yum fried rice was their special and we gave it a try. It comes with some seafood with shrimps, and squid. The flavor and spices in this fried rice is out of this world. Massaman Kai: the chicken was fall off the bone tender. And the curry was very well seasoned. Even if I just have the curry sauce with plain rice it would be heaven. Mango sticky rice. Can't go wrong with this. But they added something crispy on top and elevated this dish even more. Will definitely come back. In fact my mouth is watering now so I need to come back here asap.

Not in the best seats, but it was fine. The air con was blowing directly at us so it was quite cold. We spoke to the server and they immediately helped us move our table back so we were more comfortable. Overall, service was excellent! Seafood Tom Yum fried rice 5/5. Bursting with flavor. Big chunks of chicken and shrimp. T yum flavor really shone through. It's one of their specials so it might be limited time, I'm not sure. Massaman Kai 4.5/5. Chicken was tender, fall off the bone. Sauce was delicious and creamy. However, there were a few pieces of potato that wasn't completely cooked through, but some were perfectly fine so that was only a small miss for us. We only had a little bit leftover but still had to pack it home so none of it would go to waste. Mango sticky rice 5/5 not on their menu but so happy they had it this day. Delicious and the perfect way to end such a wonderful meal. Lots of mango, rice was wonderfully cooked and still warm. 100% coming back again!

The restaurant is located on a busy street and is unassuming/easy to miss so I'm glad my boyfriend pointed it out for us to try with some friends. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share. They all arrived relatively quickly and my favourites were the pad thai and the khao soi. The pad thai was fragrant and on the sweeter side which I like. I also liked the fresh raw bean sprouts on the side. The khao soi was curry noodles with tender beef and crispy egg noodles. The curry was very flavourful with a hint of heat and sweetness. This was also my first time trying curry noodles at a Thai restaurant. The green curry was filled with bamboo shoots, peppers, and a good amount of chicken. The flavour from the bamboo shoots really comes through as well. For the crab fried rice, it came with a spicy sauce and pickled vegetables. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to go around so I didn't get a chance to get a good taste of it with the rice. However, I scooped some curry sauce from the khao soi onto the crab friend rice and it was delicious! Finally, we tried the mango sticky rice and my goodness, it was so pretty! The rice was warm and sweet which paired beautifully with the slightly tart mango. I'll definitely have to come back to have more of the khao soi noodles!

They cater to several delivery apps and I've seen a lot of drivers picking-up food there. We usually opt to just call-in our orders and pick it up after 20 mins since we live close. You get a 10% discount for dinner orders (pick-up) plus saves a bit of money. They have a small dining area -- bar seating by the window. Their pad thai is delicious! We've tried tofu (with egg), shrimp (plus $3) and chicken. They don't scrimp on the shrimp so the additional price isn't bad plus the serving size is quite big. We've also tried #40 Black pepper (Chicken) - it was flavorful, lots of bamboo shoots and other veggies. #57 Pineapple fried rice with chicken -- it was okay, it was a bit moist for us as we prefer drier fried rice and the pineapple chunks were a wee bit too big. Their Thai tea was great. Loved their Basil Chicken fried rice (no peas and beans for us) -- so flavourful and lots of chicken pieces that it's enough to be eaten on its own without another viand. Reheated leftovers the next day and it was still yummy and flavourful. Their Chicken Satay is good too loved the satay sauce, portion size is bigger than your typical Malay/Thai restaurant and it comes with a side of potato chips. Really enjoyed my bowl of Tom Kha Chicken (coconut milk soup), big serving size and thicker soup -- so comforting and warming to the stomach and soul. Overall, Twinkle Thai is our go-to neighborhood Thai place. Pricing and serving sizes are really good value for money plus the food is made really well. Lastly, I'm glad that they are willing to modify our orders (by removing beans/legumes bec of hubby's dietary restrictions). I look forward to trying more things in their menu.
