I've come here many times to try their lunches and dinners. Best restaurant in Ladner and there hasn't been a dish I wish I hadn't ordered. The classic Thai tea may be sweet for some but the lime Thai tea is a pleasant surprise. Their other drinks are great as well. They have slightly different menu for lunch and dinner so I recommend you try both times. The lunch set is a great way to try bunch of different combination of their menus for a decent price. Staff is very kind and service is prompt.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating for food allergies and food preferences. Our table had a drink each, pork jowl and pad Thai as appetizer and main course respectively. The pork jowl was the best I've had in northern America and the Pad Thai came in huge portions. Will definitely visit again.

I got there and it was fairly quiet with just two tables occupied. I was taken aback by the staff though. They were not Asian or Thai. I started to wonder if this was a watered-down version of Thai food to suit the local non-spicy palate? The staff was speaking French to a table of customers. Uh-oh. It took a long while before anyone (there were 2 of them front of house) came over to me. During that time, I was contemplating if I should just walk out. So service was indeed spotty. One staff was more helpful than the other. I wanted the pad krapow gai (basil minced chicken), unfortunately they did not have that. So I had the basil chicken which was in slices instead of minced. There is a difference in the dish even though both are basil chicken. I requested for the spice level to be like in Thailand (hot). The food arrived and it was spicy, but not overly spicy like in Thailand. It was ok. You had to order the rice separately and at $2.75 a bowl, it was quite expensive. It was just rice! Even though the restaurant did not have many dine in customers, there were plenty of people calling in to place orders for take out. So I guessed maybe this was the only decent Thai place for the people living in this area? The food was not bad, but it is just not the best Thai food around.

We ordered at 7:05 on the road and told our food would be ready for 8 (which is nearly an hour!). We only ordered 3 entrees and 1 order of spring rolls. We got there at 7:55, waited a few minutes, and went in only to be told it would be another few minutes. No worries! Only when we went back in 10 minutes later, our order still wasn't ready. We ended up leaving the restaurant with our food at 8:35, a full hour and a half after we placed our order! The friends I was with loved their food, but I personally didn't find it worth the wait. I'd much rather go to Thai basil and get my food in 10 minutes, especially since I know the food is ALWAYS bomb there. I also think the prices are pretty steep for entrées that don't even come with a base. My and my friend each had to order a side of rice, and there's no combo pricing. Overall, a tsawwassen staple that just doesn't do it for me.

I have had many better Thai experiences throughout the lower mainland at a fraction of the price and with better service. I even asked a question of our waiter and he nervously responded, "I'm sorry, but we are not allowed to converse with the guests." Both myself and my friend who invited me thought this was very odd and it put a dark mood on the evening as we felt like we were being watched by the owners. It was creepy. A couple of other friends of mine also had similar experiences remarking that that staff are always walking on eggshells to the point where it dampened their experience. The experience was an unfortunate waste. Afterwards, we went to a different seafood restaurant in Steveston to get a full meal and we were satisfied by that experience, thank goodness. I have since steered many interested parties away from this restaurant and will continue to do so. **Plus, I don't know why it's stated here on Yelp that they have a Michelin Star, because according to the Michelin Guide, they do not. If Michelin has awarded them one, then Michelin stars mean nothing.

Portions are small, but clearly designed for a fine-dining experience rather than a filling meal. Standouts: The Pad Thai was impressive and well-balanced, especially for someone very familiar with Thai food. But the highlight for me was the Organic Coconut Galangal Soup with Crispy Wild Sockeye Salmon -- deeply flavorful, comforting, and the dish that truly stayed with me. Service: Attentive and thoughtful. I was here for my birthday and received a greeting letter and card, which made the experience feel extra special. Value: Pricey, yes -- but when you factor in the food, service, and overall experience, it's worth it for a special occasion. Highly recommended for celebrations or a meaningful night out.

Horrible. Ordered…read morevia Uber Eats. It was quick but sometimes that's a red flag in itself. We are at a hotel. They didn't send any cutlery or napkins which is just common sense. Next there was no soya sauce. And worst of all - NO RICE ! My husband had to go to a restaurant close by to get a side of rice and some soya sauce. After paying over 70$ this is unacceptable. All this aside, we were hoping the food would be good. Our order was Beef Thai Salad, Ginger Beef, Green Curry with Chicken & Satay Chicken Skewers. They also had a promo for 4 Free Spring Rolls with a 40$ purchase, they turned out to be the only thing edible. I had asked for no onions (huge allergies) and not too spicy. The beef salad had no onions, but also zero flavour on the beef. The lettuce had some lime but not any flavour. It was a few cucumbers and lots of bland unseasoned beef. Is super hot chili flakes the only option here ? It looked like the beef should of been really good, but it was like they had washed the beef off completely of anything. The chicken skewers were big but they seemed to be really fatty with gristle - the meat wasn't certainly chicken breast. Even the peanut sauce seemed off. I ate a few bites and spit it out. The ginger beef was a large order. They sent the sauce on the side. Again the meat was super low quality. Lots of gristle etc. Couldn't eat it. My husband didnt mind his green curry, but was less than thrilled about it not coming with any rice !! It too was of poor meat quality. It all smelled quite bad . All in all was so very disappointed . Would never order from here nor recommend. Huge waste of money.

I didn't get the typical Thai dishes like pad Thai, red curry or green curry as they don't look authentic or appetizing. The staff let us try the Thai pepper chicken and I liked it. It was so crispy. I had it with basil Thai fried rice and green beans. I was warned the green beans was medium spicy and it was quite spicy to me! I really wanted to see if the food tasted like Thai or not, and I was thinking why not? I liked how staff seemed nice and friendly when I passed by CT. So I got Medley 1 ($9.29) that included Spicy Pad Thai with chicken and eggplant tofu, it was alright. It wasn't what I considered authentic Thai dish, but more like typical Chinese fast food. Portion was big enough for me. Eggplant dish was good. Pad Thai didn't have tamarind flavour, but it could've been something else (maybe vinegar?) I don't think it was 4 star worthy as the food was SO oily. I found myself thirsty afterwards, and later I grabbed myself a soda at a dollar store.

Still, it's flavorful and comforting enough that I end up ordering it almost every visit. The basa fish stir fry is always a standout and highly recommended. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavour, and one of those dishes you keep thinking about afterward. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We were curious about how the basa dish was prepared because it was so delicious, and the lady helping us (possibly the owner or manager) was open and transparent about the ingredients, which added a really personal touch to the experience. The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating, though reservations are definitely recommended during peak hours, especially for larger groups. There's also a small Thai grocery section attached to the restaurant with a nice selection of snacks, sauces, and pantry items for sale.
