Pad Thai dreams do come true at Chada Thai. We were looking for a quick dinner heading back to Vancouver from Blaine, WA. The area is beautiful with trains and by the harbour, Semiahmoo Bay and Thai food. I believe the owner and staff are Thai as we greeted a female with "sa-wat-dee-kha" and she responded back. We shared Pad Thai and Pad See Ew and brought back memories from our recent Thailand trip. The staff are so friendly we would come by next time we head over the border to USA.

Wide noodle phad Thai... Yummmoooo. Large portions too!

I was having a bad day, no appetite, but I really knew I needed to eat. So, I took a chance on Chada, hoping the good smells meant it could mend what was ailing me. The food warmed my belly and the service warmed my heart. Great portions, bright and fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked noodles. If you're stuck in Blaine, let this place take care of you for a couple hours.

George the owner is a really great guy! And great food!

Very delicious. Well worth the trip! The Thai food compares well with any great Thai restaurant.

CHICKEN SATAY AND SOME WEIRD SOY SAUCE.

The food was not good at all. I have eaten here numerous times through the years and it has always been good. We ordered Chicken Satay and Basil fried rice, Spring Rolls, Pad Thai and Pot Stickers. The chicken Satay didn't taste or look like real chicken, there was hardly any flavor to it or sauce on it. The rice had a coating of grease or butter that stuck to the roof of my mouth. Worst $60 we have spent on food. I will update if we get food poisoning.

The food here was FANTASTIC! Everything was fresh and delicious. I wish I would've been here sooner. I honestly can't stress enough how good our meal was. The service was fast and on point. The ambiance of the place seems more like a Chinese buffet overlooking Blaine harbor, but it's definitely still nice enough to be enjoyable. I wish they had outside seating overlooking the water. All the food was already gone by the time I took the photo.

Okay, okay. I've been noodling (pun intended) on this review, and was split between a 4 or 5 star review for Chada Thai. This could definitely be argued one way or another. After careful consideration and multiple deliberations guided by intense scrutiny (kidding, not kidding), we're going to land on a 5 star review. Nestled next to the scenic shores of Blaine, Washington, Chada Thai continues to establish itself as an iconic and neighborhood favorite. It's going to take a really good restaurant to dethrone Chada's monarchy as a top Asian restaurant in Blaine. The Pad Se Ew was incredibly moist, well decorated in an assortment of vegetables and had a delightful taste in each and every bite. It's one of those dishes that will keep you yearning for more -- bite after bite. I was a fan. A huge fan. The brown sauce--which tasted like a combination of dark soy sauce, sugar, oyster sauce and vinegar--was to die for. The Pad Thai was also surprisingly good. Although a popular dish, this noodle dish can easily be overcooked, be way too sweet or commonly found cooked too dry. However, Chada Thai's version was nothing of the sort, but delish, leaving me craving for more after each bite. With each bite, you could tell how well the tamarind paste complimented the meat, egg, onions and bean sprouts. A little feedback for the restaurant: - Separate the bean sprouts and peanuts from the Pad Thai noodles - Don't be too stingy on the green onions, which were pretty sparse on the Pad Thai Recommendations for take-away: - Add a scoop of Chili Garlic Sauce, Huy Fong (Rooster) to your plate to add a nice, authentic spicy kick to your meal. Sriarcha will do as well. - Crack open and fry a few eggs to layer on top of your dishes for a nice, hearty addition of protein Overall, I would recommend Chada Thai if you're looking for a delicious, authentic Thai meal. Did I mention they gave generous portions? It was definitely a good bang for your buck. The noodles also did surprisingly well as next day leftovers.

    yum!

We got a noodle dish to go. We like to eat by the water. It was better than the overpriced Thai places in Bellingham.

This was the best Thai food we've had. We've eaten at every Thai place in Tacoma. This by far beats all of them. SOOO GOOD!

Teriyaki secret - 7. Chicken Yakisoba (comes with salad and steamed rice)

We've driven past Teriyaki Secret for a year. It's tucked into a strip mall near the IGA and the…read moreUPS Store, and honestly, we rarely noticed anyone going in. Now we know why. It's a bit of a secret because most of the business seems to be takeout, and the magic is happening in the kitchen, not the dining area. We stopped in during the lunch rush, and it was busy and energetic. If you're in a big hurry or prefer quiet, off-peak hours might be better. But the noise comes from a hardworking kitchen turning out food that's clearly made with care. The husband-and-wife owners know exactly what they're doing. We ordered the chicken yakisoba (non-spicy), which came with steamed rice and a side salad. The portions were generous, and every bite was flavorful and satisfying even without any heat. There are just a few tables up front since most of the space is dedicated to cooking. The owners were kind, attentive, and checked in on us several times despite how busy they were. You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their customers. We're glad we finally discovered this place. Teriyaki Secret earns its name not because it's hard to find, but because it's easy to overlook something this good.

I'm sorry but if that the first place your mind goes to... like mama Doris likes to say "only hurt dogs holler". I wanted to know because I am tracking my macros. Food was ok, nothing to rave about relatively healthy, be aware ask the wrong question and your dish will be served with a side of attitude.
