Other reviews characterized this place as good, quick, and cheap. I'm sorry to say I can't concur. Prices are pretty average, but definitely not cheap. We got 3 appetizers and 3 sushi rolls for about $70. It took over half an hour to get our food. This was around 6:30 PM on Friday, so they were busy, but that's a long time to wait for a place that primarily specializes in takeout and delivery. And they were cranking out those to-go orders, to the point where it felt like they were deprioritizing the dining room. The food was decent. Sushi was well-made and fresh. Takoyaki and seaweed salad were run-of-the-mill, and edamame came out cold. The brown sugar bubble tea was watery and unpleasant. They were running a two-for-one special on th tea, so I wasn't expecting much, but I would've preferred to drink tap water. Stopped in before a doctor's visit across the street at UI. This will definitely become a favorite. Location is also very convenient for me. I had their general tso's lunch special, which included a lunch portion of white rice with the chicken, a spring roll, a crab Rangoon, a couple pcs of Cali roll and a miso soup. This was enough food for 2 meals for me! The chicken was fresh, but it isn't spicy like the menu says. It's on the sweet side if that's what you're into. The miso had a ton of tofu and flavor. I usually order takeout, and it's honestly perfect for that. My order is almost always ready early (like 5 minutes ahead of time), which I really appreciate. Super convenient when you just want to grab your food and go. Everything I've tried has been delicious, the spicy tofu, avocado roll, miso soup, edamame, udon, ramen... all amazing. You really can't go wrong here. The customer service is always good too, and the staff is friendly when I go in to pick up my order. I recently tried their boba for the first time (matcha with coffee, I think?) and it was surprisingly so good, very flavorful and not overly sweet, which I loved. I tried their spicy tuna poke bowl, which comes with a VERY healthy serving of white rice, avocado, corn, imitation crab, cucumbers, pickled radish, masago, and lots and lots of spicy tuna. The sushi is delicious, I most especially like their deep fried rolls like the Godzilla roll in my picture as well as the volcano roll. The smoothie tasted so refreshing and you could definitely tell they used high quality fruit. The consistency of the boba was perfect as well.
