I really like this place! I love all you can eat sushi spots and this place was perfect. Immediately greeted with great service, our waiter explained everything to us. Food came out quickly and I happened to come during a week day so pretty much had the place to myself. The food was flavorful and their crab ragoons were delicious! If you like all-you-can-eat this is the spot to come to! They even had a mango roll I tried and it was very tasty
This place will always be my go to delivery sushi spot near me! I finally walked past it in China Town and they were busy to no surprise!
Came here for AYCE lunch special and got to try a lot for a great price--very good food overall!! You get a tablet to send to the kitchen so no having to worry about flagging down the waiter. Sushi was great, salmon skin roll was my absolute favorite. Avocado salad was also sooo tasty. Inside is so beautifully decorated w fake flower adornments on the ceiling and decor on the walls. Make sure to ask waiter for QR code to redeem for parking in the lot to get 3 hours for $3!! Very nice staff and overall great experience.
We've eaten at Mira plenty of times, and while I wasn't outright displeased with my meal, this visit was a letdown. The sushi was good--not great, just fine. Unfortunately, the service was anything but. Since the restaurant now automatically includes an 18% tip, the service felt completely indifferent. Our server had a dismissive, almost irritated attitude from the start. There was a noticeable cold draft blowing in from a large gap under the door leading outside. When we politely asked to be moved--before we had even ordered drinks--we were met with an attitude, as if we were being a major inconvenience. I also tend to check restrooms when dining out, and they were far from clean. Definitely not what you'd expect from a place at this price point. Sadly, this experience was enough to make this our last visit.
The sushi is pretty good for AYCE- we arrived hungry and left very satisfied. I recommend the white tuna carpaccio (it's the best one) and the ocean roll.
I went for the all you can eat lunch special. I loved every second of it. The Chicago roll will be my go to every time. The service was quick and Efficient. Everything was ordered through a tablet. Unfortunately there were no alcoholic beverages at the time. Love the set up of the establishment
We were looking for an All You Can Eat sushi option for lunch and we're glad we chose Mira Sushi Restaurant & Bar. The wonderful selection of appetizers, salads, and special rolls gave us a very nice meal. The availability to order throughout our meal using the iPad was a bonus that truly adds to the great service from the friendly staff. Don't worry, they also give you a colorful menu with pictures and descriptions. The music was upbeat and the decor was very inviting. We enjoyed the mochi desserts to round off our delicious lunch.
Came to Chinatown and saw this place. Located on the 2nd floor. We got the ayce sushi. A little pricey but everything was good. We ordered like 4 different rolls and a couple of appetizers. I like that you get to order through an iPad for convenience.
Service was great but the food was out of this world Definitely would recommend the everyone here!
I ordered delivery via Uber Eats from here and was very happy with my order in terms of the quality of food. I got the salmon rolls, tuna rolls and an eel roll. They all tasted fresh and I had leftovers for lunch the next day. I was skeptical about eating leftover sushi but they actually tasted fine. I would not hesitate to order from here in the future.
Went for lunch with my daughter and loved their lunch menu! For the price I think it was worth it, and the sushi rolls were delicious and fresh, the miso soup was also the best one I've had. The staff were nice and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Super cute spot!
My favorite all you can eat sushi place. There are more expensive sushi places that are a little more pricey, but this is the best all you can eat place I've found. 35 dollars for all you can eat dinner. The restaurant itself is clean and cute enough. Friendly and fast service. The fish is very fresh and very yummy.
Pretty decent spot for ayce! Im impressed and can confidently add this place to my list of favs. This new spot is located on the 2nd floor in Chinatown. The space itself is pretty big and very clean. Service was very good. Their menu offers a good variety of everything. The quality of the sushi was very good! Everything tasted fresh and not frozen. Fyi - if you are a first responder and have your ID, they can give you a discount! *Side note - the kani salad wasn't that good. It was basically all cucumber and barely any crab.

I went here for the all-you-can-eat sushi, and this place did not disappoint. You can order as much sushi as you want, as long as you don't waste any food. Each piece of sushi tasted extremely fresh and was packed with flavor. They also have some really great starters, including fried chicken, mussels, French fries, and many more options. For only $30, you really can't beat it. They even offer mochi ice cream for dessert, which is a great way to finish the meal. Overall, this is definitely a great spot if you're looking for good, fresh sushi at an affordable price. read more

Went with my friend and we didn't have to wait for a table. There's lots of options including appetizers, nigiri, rolls, etc. when you do AYCE. Everything came out pretty fast since it wasn't too crowded when we went and the quality was good for an AYCE spot. We really liked how the rice wasn't packed on. Some spots can pack a lot of rice in their nigiri and rolls, and this was not the case here which we loved. Inside they played normal music but there wasn't that many people when we went so it was oddly quiet at times. read more
AYCE for sushi in Chinatown!!! The atmosphere is eclectic, bright, vibrant and welcoming. For a Friday night it was too bad. We made reservations same day. There is a lot of choices, raw and cooked sushi. Variety for picky eaters and sushi lovers. The appetizers are plenty and good options. The kids love the chicken wings and the edamame was a hit for all. We had soft shell crab and mussels as well. We chose different sushi rolls not just the simple salmon or tuna. So many different rolls we chose were good and repeaters. We had a party of 5 adults and 2 kids and there was enough food to go around. Great price for AYCE. Will be back again. read more

I would like to preface this review by saying that I did dine here with my family and we are all VISIBLY black . I felt like our experience here was racially motivated as every other patron in this restaurant seemed to be having better service . This review is lengthy but if you're not I believe this review is for you. We came in during a late lunch rush I assume which is understandable as to why we had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated. We were told that our party of 5 didn't have any tables large enough to seat us and that an additional chair would have to be added to the end of the table or else we would have to leave a name and number and come back later , which again, is understandable! However, upon ordering our 4 appetizers and 5 sushi rolls we waited 30 minutes for our appetizers that we were expecting to be served FIRST. You can imagine our surprise when we get served our sushi rolls after 40 minutes and still didn't have any appetizers. Additionally while waiting we weren't asked if we wanted anything to drink, if we were okay & NEVER got our waters refilled until AFTER we paid the bill. After waiting so long for our sushi rolls we were a bit disappointed to see that no ginger or wasabi was served with the 5 rolls. I politely asked our server to bring some over and he replied with "We are out of ginger" after serving us double wasabi and walking away before we could ask any other questions.. it felt very dismissive and rude. So midway consuming our delicious sushi rolls, we received our gyoza & edamame which was old , wilted and cold which led me to assume our appetizers were ready and just sitting out waiting for the servers to grab it :/ After receiving our 3rd appetizer which we'd been waiting for about an hour now we had to ask a dish busser (shoutout to her, she is the only one who gave any kind of hospitality and customer service towards us) to please just ask the kitchen if the final appetizer (fried oysters) were even being prepared! Our server came back and blatantly told us to our faces that he had served us our oysters and that there was no mix up so after correcting him that we never got served our final appetizer he comes back to tell us that the kitchen never printed our ticket... we then just told him to remove it from our bill and that we were ready to leave . With 18% gratuity added we did NOT tip additionally as we felt like we were being overlooked, ignored and dismissed whenever we politely asked for water, our food and simple sides that come STANDARD with sushi. To top it all off my sister pointed out that multiple tables had multiple plates of wasabi and ginger! I asked the busser lady for ginger and what do you know ?! There is ginger ! Our server just didn't want to look over the counter in the fridge that is 5 feet away to see the prepared ginger sitting in a plastic tub. We will not be coming back... food was 7.5/10 read more

Came in for a weekday lunch. The place was empty- as expected since they are running a weekday lunch special for $22 on Monday - Thursday. Kids under 6 are free and you can get a free meal on your birthday too. We did the AYCE which we were very satisfied with. Some of the highlights was the yellowtail. Sometimes the yellowtail at different sushi places have a fishy taste to it. Not this place, this was fresh and good. The yellowtail rolls with green onions and even the nigiri were delicious. The sushi rice was not overwhelming and it was nicely seasoned and soft, not hard. The service is attentive as well and it was nice with not many others there as our orders came in a very reasonable time. Another highlight of here is that they do not limit the mochi ice cream you can have. read more
Mira Sushi in chinatown is hands down the best AYCE sushi spot in Chicago. The rice to fish ratio, the size of the pieces, freshness of the fish, the options, the atmosphere and the service are all a 10! We got the fried shumai, aburi yellowtail sushi, salmon avocado roll, rainbow roll, crunchy crunchy roll, crazy tuna roll, chicago roll, spicy maki, spicy tuna dumpling and more. All of the rolls were bangers, the speciality rolls being my personal favorites. The miso soup was rich and perfectly balanced and i knew right away we were at a place that knows what they're doing. There were no overbearing, snarky waiters here like other ayce spots, if anything they were very sweet and friendly with fast service. They also do validate parking which is a nice bonus. Note: I had gone when they were newer and it looks like service has gone downhill and they've increased the automatic service charge from 18 to 20% since then. I'm keeping a review at 5 since that was my experience and hopefully they can work their way back to it. read more
I came here two days ago. It was during dinner time and we did the ACYE option. We started with a bunch of everything since we were so hungry. As we entered, a waitress asked how many in our party and then sat us next to the other customers. We quickly wrote down what we wanted and then I told another waitress about my shellfish allergy. I asked if the sashimi salad had any shellfish and that if she could remind the chefs to separate the shellfish from regular fish sushi. Our appetizers came out at a decent rate. We had the crab Rangoon, sashimi salad, edamame, and seaweed salad. Crab Rangoon was full of imitation crab meat and little to no cream cheese. The sashimi salad was good and tasted like sushi taku. The edamame came out hot which I appreciated. Seaweed salad tasted like seaweed salad. We also ordered the miso soup, spicy salmon or tuna dumplings, and chicken wings. The miso soup was standard taste. The spicy salmon or tuna dumplings was a miss. The chicken wing... never came out and so I ordered it again just for it not to be delivered again. I could have been dreaming but another table that came in 15 mins after us got an order of chicken wing... But anyways, when I asked, they said they didn't have any more chicken wing. (Thanks for the heads up) We ordered two speciality rolls which only one came out. Since the chicken wing didn't come out, I didn't even bother reminding the staff about the missing roll. We also ordered a bunch of sushi pieces to share. They did not listen to my request to separate shellfish pieces from regular fish so my friends opted to eat the pieces that touched any shellfish. My friends said that scallop sushi felt like he was chewing an ice cube. Another friend mentioned that the red clam had sand on it. We did two rounds of sushi. The first round had warm eel pieces. The second round had cold cold eel pieces. So it's a little confusing about the quality... We also ordered another round of appetizers like edamame and this time, we also ordered the octopus salad? I can't eat it since it's apart of the shellfish family. So I depended on my friends' taste bud for this. One friend immediately split it out because of the overpowering sesame oil taste. Another friend said it was okay but only ate two more pieces after that. Long story short, would I come back? Maybe.. if it was the only ACYE left.. maybe. read more

For an all you can eat, it's pretty good. The service was wonderful. They were very tentative and friendly. The place was busy but the atmosphere was not loud at all. We ordered several Appetizers to share. My favorite was the soft shell crab and the sashimi salad. We ordered a variety of rolls. They were all very good. read more
Came here for ayce lunch on a Saturday, it wasn't that packed but they do have a huge space. The sushi came out pretty fast and they're fresh and good. They have a huge menu to select from for the ayce so it was enjoyable and worth it. Definitely give it a try if you're in Chinatown! read more
A lot of the food could use a splash more mirin throughout. Mirin will only enhance the moisture of the ingredients. They apparently forgot/missed a couple of selections from the kitchen. The turnover rate was great! Floors was really pretty, but was also quite slippery (on a dry day in May). The artwork was interesting. read more

The food was pretty good. We ordered their ayce sashimi for once, and it was fresher than expected. There is not a lot of variety for the sashimi, but the nigiri and rolls are not packed with rice either. The service was decent, but there was definitely a lack of customer service. It didn't feel very welcoming and many of the staff members rarely smiled or asked how we were doing. The ambiance is a 10/10. They have new decor and lots of seating for people. read more
We came here for the all you can eat during weekend. Lots of food options. I wish they have chicken karage I guess we order too much? They notice us 2/3 of our second round order were temporarily sold out? Hmmm... not full with the all you can eat tho They forgot to clean the dirty spots under the glass cover which on top of the table. But the cute server is so nice to clean it for us after request. read more
Rolls: Ichiban, Chicago, Ocean Nigiri: Salmon, White Tuna, Eel, Yellowtail, Seared Salmon/Yellowtail Appetizers: Soft Shell Crab, Sashimi Salad, Calamari, Tempura shrimp & vegetables, chicken wings Too much rice and fish was too thin in nigiri. Excellent rice ratio in rolls. Fish was mostly good quality except Yellowtail. Appetizers were all tasty. No issues with the rice because it's ayce quality. Nigiri could be packed more tightly. Rolls were very well made. I liked how big the space was. Lots of tables and space between the tables. Service was good. read more

New to the Chinatown area, I was excited to try this place bc social media hyped it up so much. I'm glad I tried it and can cross it off my list. Service was excellent and they were very attentive to us, however this was a I tried it once and I'm ok on not coming back. It just wasn't for me. The fish was great but the rice was super mushy that it made it very hard to continuously eat each piece. I thought the fish to rice ratio wasn't too bad. A pretty good selection of special and regular rolls as well as apps. You can order AYCE or ala cart. I like how they have ice cream and mochi as part of the AYCE. There was a good amount of tables. They do take reservations but it has to be 5 or more in the party. The room was a little cold and the decor was cute. It's not for me but this may be some one's else's go to spot for AYCE. read more

While eating sushi, we got a visit from a foot long Rat! I addressed the issue with the manager and we were offered a discount which we declined. The manager said that they will call past control the next day. They still ended up issuing 20% off the bill. Here is the video of the Rat! read more
