Expensive - but really great! EXPENSIVE: I paid $485 to have REALLY GREAT: Very large and heavy pieces of furniture picked up and moved 2.1 miles away. That's way too much money for what turned out to be less than 2 hours of work. Yet, the work was excellent. The two movers that were on the job were professional and seemed to be having fun doing their job together. They were personable and kind. It was a great experience. read more

Amazing! They were super quick, on top of it, communicative, friendly and handled everything with care. Ashley was amazing with getting everything taken care of as well as the awesome movers who came to do the job. Would recommend them 100%! Definitely will be booking for my next move. read more

Two months before our move within the same city, Ashley was most responsive among all the responses and she was so good about answering questions the whole time and making things very clear for us. Among the five quotes we received they were in the middle yet we chose them because of her customer service and their perfect reviews from others. I wasn't there on moving day working in Asia but here is my wife's review: Dylan, Clay, and Doron were hardworking, so gracious, and cheerful. They worked for so many hours and never once made us feel like they were tired. Such professional guys and they were so nice! Not once did they bump a wall! And we had big pieces! Highly recommend! From my mom whos items they moved a few days ahead: Ryan, Dylan and Clay sent over and above their duties. They courteous, hard working and worked quickly but efficiently. There was nothing they wouldn't do to make sure I was satisfied with the job they were doing. A 10 from me and I would recommend highly. Keep it up Ashley and Team! read more

I utilized On the Road Again's services in mid September 2022 and they were very courteous and professional. Clay and Alejandro did a great job moving my heavy items and ensuring that everything was wrapped up properly. They were able to get all of my items into a tight storage unit with ease. I would highly recommend them! read more

I'm floored. I talked to a lot of different moving companies to get my move handled. Ashley immediately stood out. She wasn't pushy and didn't rush me at all. She seemed far more concerned with making sure I was taken care of, than the other companies. She didn't even bring up money or cost until she was sure that they could take care of me. Once I did get the quote, it was a much better price than all the other companies had quoted me. How can the best service also have the best price? Let's fast forward to moving day. Clay and Dylan handle my move. They were punctual and arrived in good spirits and ready to go. I had them pack for me as well. They were extremely careful and thoughtful with my property. It was clear that doing the job RIGHT is very important to them. Once everything was packed (which only took 2 hours, I've had other companies pack for me before and they weren't nearly as efficient), they loaded up the truck in a flash. They showed the same care with loading and unloading as well. I'm seriously blown away by these guys. The best price, the best service, and some of the best crew I've ever had. If I ever have any moving needs in Austin again, On The Road Again will be my first call. Seriously one of the best moving experiences I've ever had. I can't thank you guys enough. read more

We just completed a move with On the Road Again movers and I couldn't be more thankful for them. From my first inquiry, to scheduling, to arrival, loading and unloading, they were great. They took exceptional care moving our items, were very friendly and when they were done the total was actually quite a bit LESS than their estimate (because it didn't take as long). There truly were no hidden fees. I'd recommend this group in a moment. So thankful for their help. read more

these guys saaaaaved us! the original movers we had booked ghosted us. I reached out and the manager ashley answered my message almost immediately; she booked for first thing the following morning! They have a site where you can declare what inventory you have so they can give you the most accurate quote possible. ryan and his brother were on time, quick, patient and polite. i'm so happy I found this business! the move was seamless and we're ecstatic to finally settle in our new home. Great company owned by a former first responder. We used them when our previous movers left us in a lurch. They were helpful, professional, and extremely good at what they do. They were fabulous at a time when I needed help. I highly recommend them. read more

What a great experience! Nick and Saul were kind, helpful, and taught me some things about my house. They wrapped everything! They didn't damage anything because they were so careful. I will use this company and refer them to anyone I know. Great job, guys! Thank you for helping us have a stress free move. And one more person, Ashley. She took care of scheduling and billing. Very nice and explained things well. Thanks y'all! read more

We were so thrilled with this company and the two men who moved our furniture. They were responsive, reliable, kind, a great value and extremely careful with our furniture and items. I have heard some real horror stories about companies showing up and doubling rates, or even worse ... not showing up at all! The two movers who assisted us were right on time and completed the job in less time then we estimated. They were more then fair in their rates - it ended up being more affordable then we expected, and honestly it was due to them getting the job done so efficiently and quickly. They were super patient and kind to our kids who were getting underfoot a bit - seriously, these guys couldn't have been nicer. I hope we don't have to move again soon, but if we do we will 100 percent book with this company again. Highly recommend! read more

Ryan and his team at On the Road Again Movers are FANTASTIC! We purchased several pieces of high quality furniture at an estate sale. So, obviously, we were VERY concerned about the care and treatment of the pieces being moved. We couldn't have hoped for better movers. Ryan and Eric were right on time. How often does that happen. They carefully disassembled and reassembled a dining room set, as well as moved many chairs and another table. They worked slow and methodically, carefully wrapping each piece in moving blankets, shrink wrapping what needed some extra protection. Everything was securely tied down in their trailer. All of the pieces were moved without a bump or a scratch. Booking the move was super easy, the rate was great, the service was awesome. Need I say more? We'll DEFINITELY have Ryan and his crew handle all our moves in the future! read more

We just used them for our move from an apartment to a house in Georgetown, and we can't say enough good things about the company and their staff!! I called yesterday to schedule a date to move and to my surprise they were able to schedule us for next day move!! What a blessing that was for us!!! Ashley in the office is very pleasant, professional and easy to work with. They beat the price on all other movers I contacted! The moving staff was very professional, polite, efficient, friendly and very easy to work with!! No additional fees from the written estimate Ashley gave us. We paid a little extra to have them take so older furniture to Goodwill and some to trash! We would highly recommend them for a move!! Thank you to On The Road Again Movers!!! read more

We received a quote from On The Road Again Movers LLC for a quote on a long-distance move. They conducted a physical inventory of the items to be moved and provided a competitive quote that included packing and hauling. Based on the quote, we signed a contract for their services. On moving day, we became increasingly concerned that the truck would not accommodate everything. We were assured that it would be tight, but that everything would fit. When the truck was full, there were items left over to be loaded. We were then told the moving company would need an additional truck for an additional charge, over and above the contracted price. To meet our moving deadline, we had no choice but to pay on the spot. After loading, the second truck was also completely full. We ended up paying substantially more than the original contracted price for our move. We have moved between states many times and this is the first time a mover has charged us for their miscalculation. We were dissatisfied with our experience and cannot recommend this moving company or its services. read more

Excellent service ftom start to finish. We used them to move furniture from the house to garage while our floors were being refinished. They did a fantastic job of wrapping each piece in plastic and moving blankets, which I didn't expect. They were on time and carefully moved everything in and out. I'll keep them in my conta ts for any future moves. read more

On The Road Again Movers are simply the best. They moved my things into storage in May when we began a remodel of our home, and now moved it all back. They were scheduled for Friday afternoon. I had to call them from the storage to cancel when I arrived and found the elevators were not working. I spoke with Ashley who was so kind and understanding and she rescheduled me for today, which is actually a holiday. (Labor Day) She said she and Ryan wanted to get me moved in as quickly as possible. Ryan and Clay are such gentlemen; so polite and so sweet, and they work very fast. There are no surprises, no extras, and no hassle. They are simply the best moving service I have ever used. I will be using them again next time I need their services, and will recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you Ashley, Ryan and Clay! read more

I can't recommend On The Road Again Movers enough! They were able to accommodate us on our time crunch and on a Sunday which i was having trouble finding availability for in general let alone on the Tuesday of moving week! Ashley helped me with estimates and booking. She was so wonderful and professional through the whole process. She truly made it a breeze which is a relief when you're rushing to pack up your house in less than a week! We had 2 movers helping us for 3 hours and they were so efficient. They made sure to protect all our belongings and were very respectful to our homes/belongings. It was brutally hot and these guys worked their butts off. We are so appreciative to everyone that helped us out with this move. Checkout was super easy with multiple payment options. The price we were estimated was the price we paid, no surprises there! The whole experience was great from start to finish. Hopefully we won't be moving anytime soon but we will definitely book them based on this experience. read more

We used On the Road Again for our recent move. Alejandro and his two sons were incredible! We had a lot of stuff and heavy furniture. The worked hard to make sure everything fit on the truck. Nothing was damaged. When getting bids for this move, other companies gave us higher bids and some felt like dealing with smarmy used car salesmen, but Ashley was friendly and authentic and gave us a fair price. We definitely recommend! read more

Horrifying experience. Make sure you fill out your inventory quickly or they will cancel on you and NOT let you know. They left us stranded for a move two days before we were supposed to be out of our home. Unprofessional and terrible experience. Let me be clear, we were never told we had to fill the inventory list to secure the date so the owners response is inaccurate. Their lack of empathy and understanding was appalling. There was no "understanding", there was no "trying to work something out", we should have been alerted to a cancellation. Period. We were left in a desperate situation thanks to the lack of communication. Here is the email and the message we receive that in no way explains we will have our reservation cancelled if we don't fill out the inventory in 48 hours. Please explain where in this you "spoke" to me. And where it was confirmed I understood? Yes I cursed at you, you left a pregnant woman who just found our her baby is potentially dying without movers with no explanation. Completely avoidable stress if you improved your "communication". What a great team! I used yelp to look for a bid on movers and On the Road responded fairly quick. I worked with Ryan to get a schedule set up. On moving day him and Nick arrived prompt on time. We went over what needed to be packed. The whole time Ryan was very courteous and responsive on the process. They wrapped all our furniture. Something a pro team does. Even our couches. Our townhome had 2 flights of stairs and they moved through it with ease. When we had everything in our new home they were done in 3.5 hours, that's including the 30 min commute. I'm so glad I've picked them for their services and be happy to use them again. You won't go wrong using them for your moving services. Thank you! read more

I recently had the good fortune to move into a larger home and in a place to hire On the Road Again Movers. The process to submit an inventory list digitally, speak with Ashely in their front office, and coordinate a date and time, we're smooth operations. The day of the move came, and the crew arrived right on time, ready to go and with positive attitudes. We had done considerable work to label and packed a large majority of the items. The crew worked diligently for 10 hours and safely delivered everything undamaged to my new home. The team was enjoyable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was extremely happy with their service and the product they provided. If I ever need to move again, I would choose to use this company. Thank you for a smooth and stress-free move! read more

Couldn't be a worse moving experience . These are the facts. The move started at 9am and didnt finish until 9pm....which is insane, the driving distance was 10 miles. Let me quickly state, I have moved 7 times in 8 years, all from 4 or 5 bedroom houses and I have NEVER had a worse experience than what happened last night. The movers themselves were very nice, very polite and helpful but they are not equipped to be professional movers and move houses that include appliances. Summary of the problems: 1. I asked before hand do you disassemble or reassemble, and was told in certain terms that they absolutely do. They were unable to disassemble a Peloton Tread (I would have been ok if this was the only issue as this is very specific). They were unable to move the dryer because they didnt have two channel locks, They spent 90 mins disassembling a bunk bed and it took 2 hours to re-assemble it and they kept doing it wrong and I had to tell them multiple times it was wrong. They took almost 2 hours to assemble a 4 post bed, put the wrong screws on and then asked me where the other screws were which I told them they put the screws in the wrong spot and they will need to remove them an reassemble, they took the thing apart so I would expect them to know what to put it together 2. Damages- They destroyed a 3k+ mattress....they ran out of plastic wrap and dragged it on the ground and it was covered in dirt....thats the best part though....they CRUSHED the memory foam to the point it has a GIANT lump in the in and the foam has moved off one side of the mattress, its impossible to fix. There response was "How did we ruin it"... 3. The response...this is the worst part. They sent me an invoice for 2.3k and asking me how I want to pay. I made the team there aware that they ruined these things and they told me "we will tell the office" yet the office acted like its as the first time they heard about it. read more

I don't often take time to write reviews b/c who has the time, but I had to take the time for On The Road Again Movers b/c of how great my experience was. From start to finish, our experience with Ryan and his team was nothing short of amazing. First, the attention to detail and care for our furniture was stellar. It felt like they were treating our belongings as if they were their own. Every piece of furniture, no matter how big or small, was handled with great care. One of the standout qualities of this team was their incredible packing skills. They were like packing-tetris-wizards, using every inch of space in their truck. It was a sight to behold, and it meant that we were able to transport all of our belongings in a single trip. Something else that wasn't lost on me was their friendliness. They treated us like friends. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at ease during a typically stressful time. Their positive attitude and willingness to assist with any requests made the entire moving process smooth and enjoyable. To top it all off, Ashley's initial quote was not only competitive but also right on target. There were no hidden costs or surprises, which feels rare these days. We wholeheartedly recommend "On The Road Again Movers" to anyone in the greater Austin area who is planning a move. You won't find a better moving company to trust with your belongings and budget. Thank you, Ryan and team, for giving us a positive experience during a stressful season! read more

While Ashley was very responsive and easy to work with, I'm very disappointed to write this review. This moving company moved me from my former home to both a storage unit and an apartment back in August 2022 since my new home wasn't ready yet. At the time I was pleased, so, when my newly built home was ready in January, 2023, I called them to complete the move from storage to my new home. The owner was actually the mover and once we moved in the refrigerator, I showed him multiple dings and scratches on the refrigerator. Note that the refrigerator was a brand new refrigerator that I purchased three weeks before I moved, thinking it would be safe in storage. It was a $4000 refrigerator, still with plastic on the inside. In addition, when they moved the refrigerator, they put several scratches in the brand new floor as well and many storage totes were broken. The main office called me and said that the insurance would not cover the refrigerator because it had been in storage for too long and stayed that all the damage was likely to "boxes shifting while in storage". (Remember that they packed the storage unit). I asked them to at least go half with me, out of their pocket, on the repair of the refrigerator, which was total $1300 and their response was to gave me a credit of only $200. Their reasoning is that "boxes packed around the fridge" while in storage could have "shifted" and fallen on the fridge, causing the damage. Don't forget, they packed the initial storage room. When the appliance company came out to replace the damaged fridge panels, they certified that the damage was caused from the moving straps (based on the position of the scratches and dings). Multiple scratches on the brand new floor, damaged storage totes, damaged refrigerator.... not at all satisfied with their resolution and after care customer service. read more

Bad service. They charged us double than what they quoted. They had moved us prior so we decided to use them again. They moved less furniture than prior, they dropped my dryer and they chipped one of my tables. Then gentleman could not assemble my bed , the same one that had been moved before taking much longer to complete the task. Would not recommend their service. read more
