First day the wait for my panini was 35 minutes and the second day I had to remind my waitress to bring the water twice. My friend who came down to visit with her family was staying at an airbnb in the area and suggested to meet up here for some dinner/ dessert. My friend was on her way over with her family and asked if we can request a table, so it can be ready once they got there. The restaurant has indoor seating and a small outdoor patio in the back. We both havent been at this restaurant in quite a while, so we wanted to see if it was the same. The hostess was nice enough to let us sit at a table even though the majority of our party was not present. Once everyone arrived, everyone ordered their food. I decided to get the Ekmek Kataifi since they ran out of the Diples dessert. The Ekmek Kataifi was very sweet as the pastry absorbs most of the honey syrup. The Kataifi shredded phyllo was not as crunchy as I would like it to be. The pastry was soggy as the dough was not baked long enough to get that perfect texture. I also ordered a vanilla cafe creme. It had a nice contrast of the hot coffee and sweet cold ice cream. It very much reminded me of the Italian affogatto. Service could have been better by the wait staff. Our main waitress spoke with a little bit of a snappy attitude that really frustrated one of my friends who goes there once in a while. She told us that she had this issue in the past with the same waitress. The wait staff that serviced our table was a bit forgetful of who ordered what or to make sure everyone got their food. Two of my friend's family member got their smoothies way after everyone got their food. After they got the smoothies, they said that the smoothie was too watery and had no flavor. At least they were able to change the flavor of the smoothie, but the staff was very hesitant to remake one for them. Overall the food and service does need some improvement. They should either be trained better or at least care about their customer service better. I do not think I would revisit this place in the future. read more

I came here with some work colleagues to celebrate the end of the year. Although we had a reservation to sit outside we had to move inside because of the rain and they were very accommodating with that and also as we waited for our party of 8 to arrive. They have such a huge variety of food and treats that everyone in our party was satisfied with everything we had. I had the chicken caesar salad which was the biggest salad I've ever had in my life and it was also delicious. My colleagues all said their food was very good. We didn't get to try any of the desserts but I'll make sure to try some in the future. They didn't rush us out and let us sit and talk and enjoy our food which I appreciated. Good things first: Our waitress was very pleasant and doing her best despite managing many tables. The fries were the most delicious thing we had. Nice and crispy. Hot chocolate was served nicely with plenty of whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Now onto the real review. This experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the Cypriot panini with Cypriot country ham, halloumi cheese, and tomatoes. The sandwich was warm and appeared grilled on the outside, but it looked like the halloumi cheese was haphazardly slapped on instead of nicely grilled. I removed it from the sand which because of how unappetizing it appeared. The rest of the sandwich was just dry grilled bread, ham, and tomato. No condiments, nothing. I ate about half of it because I was hungry. A panini is supposed to be hot all the way through, melty, and delicious. This sandwich was emphatically NOT any of those things. The other dish we ordered was the Prima Donna Crepe with Nutella, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream. I may be wrong, but I tried some and the filling did not taste like real Nutella to me, and I know Nutella. The only good things on that plate were the whipped cream and ice cream. Delivery/food review only. I have only ever ordered from here late night, since they're one of the only places that is open for delivery after 11:30pm and I work late. First order was fine, pretty mediocre, lukewarm food and a "Nutella" cheesecake that only had a vaguely chocolate taste. Second time I ordered with a friend and we got some things to share. The buffalo wings came with absolutely no sauce, just plain, dry fried chicken. The mozzarella sticks were fine but a bit soggy. They didn't have either of the deserts we ordered but the restaurant called to ask if they could send replacement, which we agreed to. The Oreo cheesecake is the most flavorless thing I've ever eaten. The whipped cream icing has the most flavor. Side note: why is there icing on a cheesecake?? The chocolate cake was bland and very sugary. Everything was disappointing. The delivery was tragic. 15 minutes after the latest delivery estimate I called the restaurant and they were just like "yeah he's on his way" totally unapologetic. 5 minutes after that the guy showed up, again, not bothering to acknowledge how late he was. I used to love this place but they hire irresponsible rude staff that will keep losing them business. Last week I went with my friends to order food, we ordered 2 orders of the souvlaki wrap (chicken) and some pastries then we left and started eating but when we saw the food there was pork in the wraps we stopped eating. (We're Muslim and don't eat pork) We went back to the place to complain and request a refund, the staff in the front was extremely rude and denied that there was pork in the wraps till they opened up the wrap and saw the pork in it. They someone else in the restaurant came and apologized for us and told us they'll give us a refund for the food and that the girl taking orders ordered us smoked chicken wrap which has pork so the kitchen didn't mess up but the girl did. The girl was still extremely rude and didn't even apologize for her mistake and till now nor I or my friend have gotten the refund! Don't recommend it, rude staff and they'll miss up your food. We ordered sweets and coffee, it took about 15 minutes. The place was a little packed on a Friday night at 8pm. I always ordered cappuccino from this place and it's good! They know their coffee! The sweets we got were good. What turned us off.... Three out of four of us wanted to spilt the bill by $15.00 each and our server could not understand that. One friend had exact change for $15. I wanted to use my debit card to pay $15 but instead they tried to charge me $22.00. One friend has no change for $50.00, she decided to ask asked our server which I did not get his name for a change for $50.00. She got her change back and I told her to count her change. She noticed the server shortchanged her and gave her a change for $20.00. We called the server over to ask him to give the correct change and he said no you gave me $20.00. We went back and forth for 10 minutes about it. He had to check in with the manager and the cashier. The manager came over and asked what's the problem. We explained to the manager stating that three of us wants to pay $15.00 each and suppose to give exact change of $50.00 but gave $20.00. The manager apologized and he fixed the error. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding or communication barrier but we weren't happy with the way they treated us like that. Just because we might talk funny don't mean it's your night to take advantage of us to see if we won't notice it. Just be careful with your money and check your bill. I've heard of this place from a friend out in astoria she told me great things so I decided to give it a try. When we arrived we got seated promptly but once we sat down a waiter took about 15 minutes to greet us. After we started with the Calamari it had no taste what so ever. This is a cute place to come to weather your going on a little date or with some friends. They don't a parking lot so depending on what time you come it can be harsh. The night time isn't so bad for parking. They have two floors. I have only seen the bottom one. When the weather is nice they also open up the backyard and have tables out there. I've come here a few times and from what I notice is customer service is a little off majority of the time. They don't check on the table too often and to get the check you end up having to go up and get it. There is this one waitress who was there the last time I went and she was actually really good! There food is actually pretty good. I tried there pizza and it was a cute little pizza although it's not your regular pizza. It is like a thin crust pizza. You can share it because it's pretty decent size. My friend had a burger and really enjoyed it. I LOVE the crepes they are the best! I love getting the nutty professor which has Nutella, strawberry, banana, whip cream and walnuts. Warning it is pretty big and you can share it. I won't complain much about the food. 85% of the time it's good. The crêpes are hit or miss. When it comes to customer service though, they are HORRIBLE! On multiple occasions, they missed my orders from seamless & either blame the delivery man or simply Seamless. I always feel like I work for the person who picks up the phone b/c she is always upset that they miss my orders. It's also of no use to get the manager on the phone. We're going there and if you tell me no, I will make the wrath of a thousand Hells feel like a vacation!" After a brief pause and some horrified stares, we journey over to Omonia. I will say that it wasn't that busy but it took them a while to take our order. And when I found out that they were out of the Cannoli Cake, I wanted to reenact the last scene of Scarface, but I calmed the hell down and decided to order the Baklava Cheesecake. Now, I see a lot of people complaining about the drinks. I've never had a cup of tea that was so good, it felt like angels were massaging my twig and giggleberries, so I don't see why it's such a big deal. Screw tea, I'm going for the dessert, and I like baklava and I like cheesecake, but I was curious as to how mixing the two might result. Oh man, there were those angels putting in work! We have eaten Greek pastries and cake here for many years. Quality has been declining steadily. I greatly dislike having to talk to the employees that are too busy with their hair or whatever, having to repeat my order few times or figuring that they don't even know the name of half of the stuff they sell. Last Saturday I bought a txureki and by Sunday it was full of mold. To the garbage. My last mistake was to let my kids and husband convince me to get some desserts after dinner today. Off we went home with an overly sweet and mushy baba rum, a hard chocolate round cake, a coconut flan with the consistency of Jarlsberg cheese, and a chocolate strawberry cake with dry leaves and sticky gelatin. All was very old and that common flavor of disinfectant all over... Another box to the garbage, and this is NOT a cheap place so I am not a happy camper. read more

I've only had their tiramisu and i saw their wings. The tiramisu was decent but at the same time not memorable. Their wings looked pretty good though. I think the decor of this place stands out more for me. Me and my friends came here to catch up after dinner and it was a great spot. They open late and it just looks so nice inside; they also have outside seating in the back. I feel like it's a nice place for people to catch up, to have talks, maybe a date place? lol We stayed here for a LONG time and the waitress was in no hurry to make us order more or to kick us out. My boyfriend and I decided to stop by here for some dessert after smoking hookah. Fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in. The cafe is so aesthetically pleasing. However, the dessert didn't blow me away. I had a brownie cheesecake slice and it wasn't anything special, I barely wanted to finish it (mind you I'm a brownie cheesecake fanatic!). My boyfriend had a strawberry fruit tart kinda thing, and it was actually pretty nice. My go-to spot for dessert is Marthas Country Bakery, and after coming here, not much has changed. Very cozy place for Bay ridge area .They always put a candle on each table when the Sun sets . They have a variety of food and it all tastes delicious. Not to mention their goat cheese/mushrooms pizza(to die for). A lot of good desserts also . They have an inside and outside sitting which is great.
