As many times as I've visited, I can't believe I haven't done a review. It is a great place. Seating is great and so is service. There are so many options to choose from so I feel like everyone can get something from here. I wish I took more pictures. Their grilled chicken salads and sandwiches at so well made. I also recommend the flat breads and the lamb burger!! Parking is okay. It is a residential and commercial area so patient and use the meters.

It's unfathomable how Milk & Honey doesn't have a higher rating, for the quality of the food, its aesthetics and presentation, as well as service and ambiance were all top-notched! The latte was deliciously intense, suggesting the usage of high quality beans and appropriate preparation. The foods were all pretty large portions with very fresh ingredients, all of which were also decently priced for both its quantity and quality. The seating area was comfortable and spacious enough for people to navigate with ease. The interior design was warm with lots of natural light, providing a welcoming and picturesque vibe. I ordered the flatbread and it was jam packed with flavor and perfectly baked with a crispy outer layer and chewy interior! My family also enjoyed their dish and we all devoured every bite of it. Overall we had a wonderful experience at Milk & Honey and I definitely recommend coming here for a nice brunch/lunch date! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Very confused as to why the reviews for this place are so low! My gal pal and I thoroughly enjoyed our brunch date here this past Saturday on a rainy early afternoon. The staff were really nice and we were seated much more quickly than expected since a nice patron offered us her table and she finished her iced matcha elsewhere. The vibe here is very laid back, comfortable, and chill with lots of earthly tones and wood throughout the space. This place has an "open kitchen" concept where you get up and order your food at the counter in the back and then they give you a number for your table. The food does take some time, so if you're in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend coming here. We had nowhere else to be, besides in each other's company, so we didn't stress about the wait nor notice the time from ordering to receiving our food. I got the hot milk and honey matcha and my friend got the iced. We split the chicken flatbread and I got their brunch burger ($20). I noticed that some other Yelpers complained about the pricing, but listen - going out to eat now is more of a luxury than ever - this place is well worth it! My matcha was not only beautiful, but delicious! My brunch burger was a bit more brioche bun than burger, but very tasty with the most non-oily crispy fries I've ever experienced! This is really great fresh, quality ingredients that are presented beautifully and proudly. I really couldn't get enough of the flatbread and will have to see their other options the next time I visit. I did wish we were offered more water and napkins and had to kind of fend for ourselves a bit, but this place is NOT a one star place - sorry, not sorry!

I've been trying different sandwiches and baked goods from this place, which were all delicious. The other day, I stumbled upon the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. Yes, Katz's has the best quality of pastrami, but the components of the sandwich here: swiss cheese, onion rings, red cabbage slaw, pickles, and drizzled with kimchi aioli... chef's kiss!

Nothing good about this place. Overpriced, inconsistent, misleading, bad service, do I even need to continue? I've been here 3 times already since it opened and today was my last time here. The last time I was here I got avocado toast and it was $18... for a piece of toast, with avocado and seasoning's... cmon make it make sense. Today I ordered a black tea and the "berries with yogurt and granola". Strike one was the handmade tea bag with very little flavor. Strike two was the sour currents in my yogurt. Strike three was using Quaker Oats and no granola. My friend got the biscoff hot chocolate and it tasted like steamed milk with a little biscoff spread. Nothing here makes sense. This place is a joke. Sorry but not for me.

Okay. So it was cold today. Like stupid cold. Like walk in from outside to remember your name cold. Stupid cold. Got off the subway and was just going to go home, but I decided I needed a late solo brunch. Ordered pancakes with blueberries, a side of eggs and sausage. Folks, let me be real here. I don't remember the last time I ordered pancakes at a restaurant. It's gotta be a decade. These were so crazy good. Like one- bite- put- your- silverware- down- and- have- a- moment good. I have lived in this neighborhood for eight years this month and I had never been here. I most definitely WILL be back.

Order at the counter

I was curious as the restaurant is relatively new to Bay Ridge and appeared to usually be busy. I would classify this place as more of a breakfast, brunch, lunch spot. The food is very good although the one negative I need to get out of the way is that I was turned off by having to wait and place my food order at the counter. Then a server will deliver it to you. It's also inconvenient if you are sitting anywhere near the counter when there are lines. You will have people standing over you, breathing on you and eying your food. Once you get past that it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, the restaurant has a nice vibe, and they do have a good variety of dishes. Whether you want eggs. salads, sandwiches, healthy bowls, French toast, flatbreads, coffee, tea, or sweets they have a good selection. We had the Mexican Fiesta:This consists of a breakfast burrito filled with avocado, turkey bacon, black beans, scrambled eggs, cheese, salsa verde, and jalapeno peppers. We also had the Avocado Grilled Chicken wrap. It has Turkey bacon, avocado, swiss cheese, herbal mayo, sliced tomato, and arugula wrapped in a homemade lavash (wrap). With a side of mixed green salad. Even though I have them 4 stars I'm on the fence as to whether I would go back.

Surprisingly good! With all the bad reviews I wasn't expecting much. The pizza flat bread had a good amount of chicken and the sauce was the perfect touch. It was a bit doughy to me though; out of preference. The matcha strawberry was flavorless and need to add sugar syrup in for sure.

I was absolutely starving. Where I was directed to grab food, didn't see anything that interested me so I asked Siri and she listed this restaurant. The pull was that it was listed as Southern cuisine. Imagine my surprise when there was no southern but by this time I was ravenous. I was offered a menu and Thank God because the choices weren't really clear. After viewing the menu I chose lamb filled ravioli and chicken Alfredo. I had to wait for my food... not to long. When I got said food, I was to hungry and decided to eat my food which was the ravioli. I was a bit disappointed at the amount that I received versus the cost. I expected it to a little heartier and it wasn't. I was starving so I scarfed it down. The bread was good and helped fill me up. For the price point, I actually expected a salad too. The fettuccine was for someone else and the packaging used was not good. I am all for biodegradable and safe for the environment but the packaging selected as horrible. It was falling apart. The fettuccine wasn't bad. The lamb ravioli felt like it was missing something. Maybe some sauce rather than broth. The cafe itself is very nice. Nice ambiance. It's not in my immediate vicinity so I probably wouldn't go back.

3 Eggs in Hell! (eggs over easy)

Everything was spot on today! Service was efficient and pleasant. Ambiance was the usual trendy cafe. I tried something new for brunch. I tried the 3 eggs in Hell. 3 eggs over this yummy zucchini, tomato, spinach stew served in a hot cast iron skillet. It was so wholesome and filling, and perfect for me as I just finished my a tough work-out. Toasted sourdough was the perfect accompaniment. So good!

Needed to get some work done, so I decided to give Milk and Honey a try. I ordered my favorite--an iced macchiato--and it turned out great. The space is spacious, and the furniture is comfortable enough to work for a while. The staff is super quick and had my order ready in just a few minutes. I really loved the vibe here--it's a great spot to dive deep into your work and stay focused.

" Egyptian poached eggs" which is toasted Sourdough with arugula, poached eggs, smashed avacado with nuts and spices.

I was craving avocado toast and this place came to mind. I have been avoiding this place because it is so busy and a little overpriced. I wanted to give it a second chance. The employees are very polite and kind. At first, I sat down inside. It was very loud and the noise echoes. (Of note I went at 12:30 pm on a Wednesday, which was surprising it was so busy but someone said There was a graduation nearby) As soon as I saw a seat outside, I grabbed it. This was much better because it was quiet and private. I had the Egyptian poached eggs and a hot vanilla latte. (Both came out to $24) however my dish was fresh and the latte was tasty. I would go back either alone or with my partner not with a big group. It's too busy.

Fast and quick service. The food was delicious, but very oversaturated. Interior is beautiful. Drinks were not very pleasant.

Boca Del Cielo - Bay Ridge Brunch Gem…read more I stopped by Boca de Cielo in the Bay Ridge area for brunch with the kids, and it turned out to be such a cozy and welcoming spot. You order your food at the front counter, and while we waited, the owner surprised us with a complimentary almond croissant since it was our first visit. It was absolutely delicious -- flaky, fresh, and easily one of the best almond croissants I've ever had. The menu has a great variety of options. We went with the steak and eggs and buttermilk street pancakes. The steak was tender and full of flavor, the home fries were seasoned perfectly, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. We also tried the Tropical Bliss Juice, a refreshing blend of pineapple, mango, and orange that's freshly pressed to order. From the warm decor to the amazing food and friendly service, everything about this place was fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try more items on their menu!

Today, I deviated from my norm and got the beet boost (the ginger shined through - which I loved); I got the steak wrap w/o tomatoes - definitely good. This came w/a salad (but your cheapy iceberg lettuce ;) and balsamic drizzle - all in all, a delicious meal. The seating has definitely changed the quality of the food and dranks are still fire

I had no intention of staying--my plan was simply to walk her in and leave--but she insisted I try one of their cookies and sit for a moment. Unfortunately, that brief visit was more than enough to confirm that this is a place I would not willingly return to. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Instead of a basic greeting or even neutral acknowledgment, the woman behind the counter looked me up and down with a visible scowl, as though my presence was somehow offensive. First impressions matter in hospitality, and this one could not have been worse. A coffee shop should feel warm and inviting; this one felt the opposite. The environment itself did little to redeem the experience. The overall vibe was dull and unappealing, lacking the comfort and energy that usually make neighborhood cafés enjoyable places to spend time. Rather than feeling like a community space, it felt tense and awkward. Service and atmosphere are the bare minimum for any café. When both are lacking, it raises serious questions about how the business expects to retain customers. Based on this visit alone, Brooklyn Brew Cafe left the impression of a place that has forgotten the most basic principle of hospitality: treat people like they are welcome. Needless to say, I would not recommend this café to anyone looking for a pleasant place to grab coffee or spend time.

Open kitchen and limited amount of seats let us keep the place cozy and intimate, just like home. We make sure to buy from local purveyors, coffee roasters, and bakers." Home is where the heart is and there is nothing quite like a home cooked meal. I have to say most Bay Ridgians enjoy dining local and in our neighborhood. I love to support neighborhood gems because majority of restaurant owners here, love their clients, establish loyalty through cooking delicious food and provide consistent great customer service. I was in the mood for a " comfort food"breakfast, you know, eggs, avocado, mozzarella, tomato, deliciousness and I found it on the menu simply named "Breakfast Sandwich". Which consists of voila: Mozzarella, avocado, tomato jam, arugula, crispy bacon, dijonaise, sunny side up egg between multigrain toasts. I ordered this sans the bacon ( requested turkey bacon which they do not have). What arrived in my plate was this decadent open faced egg sandwich that looked delectable.. and was!! Let's first talk about the wheat toast: I tasted it naked and it simply melted in my mouth. The ingredients worked well together, perfect synchronicity. I used one half of the toast to sop up any fallen ingredients. Highly recommend! For a drink, I wanted something a bit different, thus, ordered the Mango Mint Peach tea, fruity with a hint of mint. Loved it and went well with the Sammy! There are lovely options besides breakfast sandwiches like quinoa, oatmeal, granola, pancakes, French toast.. breakfast is served all day and lunch is served @noon. I arrived before 12 and was told I can order breakfast or lunch. It has a cozy, intimate vibe which I love.. one where you can dine solo, or do work or read or just enjoy the fabulous food. I will make "The Common" my home away from home. Additionally, there are cooking classes in their Park Slope location; the courses look great: Italian feast, Moroccan cooking, Wine Pairing and many more. Check out their website for more info. The staff and ambiance are so lovely and I'm looking forward to trying the other dishes.
