Unfortunately I cannot recommend this business because the owner shows no respect for others' time…read more I booked a microblading appointment on Dec. 24. More than two weeks before the appointment, the owner texted me asking me to put down a $75 deposit "since it is such a long appointment and when cancelled even 48 hours before it is hard to fill the entire slot." The booking website says all microblading appointments have a 7-day cancellation policy, so I was confused why she was even talking about 48-hour cancellation, but I put down the deposit anyway. I then planned my travels around this appointment, including booking a more expensive flight from New York so I could fly back to Seattle before Christmas to make it here. Come the day of, 1.5 hours before the appointment, the owner texted me that she would be 30 minutes late. Not a problem. But 45 minutes later, 45 minutes before the actual appointment, I got another text saying "Actually" she could no longer make it because she had Christmas shopping to complete. Sadly when both of her texts came in I was already on my way. It was raining hard and I was driving, and I didn't see them until after I arrived. I called her and got to vm. I then texted and said I would wait until 30 minutes past my appointment time. I never got a response and she never showed up. Christmas is not just her holiday, and time is not just her time. If Christmas Eve was a bad day, do not make it available and confirm the appointment weeks in advance. She and I both work in client-facing jobs. If I set a meeting with a client and try to reschedule on short notice but don't hear back, I show up. Her behavior is particularly uncalled for when she charged me a deposit so I would be respectful of her time. The respect was apparently not mutual. I asked her for a refund of my deposit. She ghosted me, and I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. I have not heard a single word from her since the "Actually can't make" text. Unless this sounds like something you want to deal with, take your business elsewhere.

Not only that but she also tells the client she was servicing during my rescheduled time that she has a client that shows up 45 min late and sits outside of the door waiting to confront her, instead of being honest about her busy schedule and acknowledging my presence. I tried to discuss my concerns with her behavior privately prior to the appointment and her response was to refuse service and call me condescending. I decided to leave to deescalate and as I'm walking out she decides to scream at me "no, listen to me! This is a review for the new management. I rarely write negative reviews but wanted to bring…read moreattention to this matter as I've heard others have had similar experiences. Over the summer, I got a classic gel manicure and gel pedicure here for a special occasion. I was excited to give this place a try as I read the good reviews under new management. I came early morning and was the only customer inside. During my pedicure, my toe was cut and it started bleeding and hurting. I understand accidents can happen and was calm about it. However, I was then surprised that the tech tried to hide the mistake by pouring blue liquid over my toe whenever I looked away and moving on with the rest of the pedicure as if my toe was not bleeding or in pain. It was stinging from the liquid. The tech tried to cover up their mistake so I wouldn't notice but I spoke up multiple times to say that my toe is hurting from the cut and there was silence from both techs who were doing my manicure and pedicure. They continued on without pausing and checking to see how I was doing even after I told them it hurts. I was very uncomfortable throughout the rest of the service. I fully paid for my services $100+ at the end including tip but did not leave satisfied. No discounts were offered and I barely got an apology. My toe was in pain as I walked away and was so scared of it getting infected. I don't think this is acceptable service. There was a lack of accountability, professionalism, and care/comfort for the customer.

My biggest highlight: They are friendly, detail oriented and make sure you have a proper and clean polish application. What's crazy is that we got our pedicures done on February 26th, and since then we're traveled and snowboarded twice. The pedicure grew out and even though I clipped my toenails, the polish never cracked or chipped. All the way to April 16th when I removed the polish! (for both my friend and myself!) that's crazy! The polish we got was from their dazzle dry color selection. Highly recommend! : )
