The salon itself seemed very clean and the technicians all seemed very friendly. However I was having my eyebrows threaded and I am not impressed. Not only did she go as slow as possible over a lot of my hairs she actually missed a ton of strays. In the lighting in the salon it looked fine, or I was in too much pain to tell. I have been coming here for pedicures for more than 2 years. The ladies are friendly and attentive. I rarely have to wait even though I usually am a walk-in. I am always seated promptly for the soak time required for a pedicure. Lalita is thorough and gentle, something important to me because I have foot problems. I am so happy that I found this place. I wanted to have my hands and feet cleaned and I asked Siri where the best nail salon in Lubbock is. My iPhone navigated me to this place and at first I was not entirely sure. Old building structure with red stickers? Eh, not my taste - but I am glad that I trusted Siri's recommendation. Lalita did my manicure. She was so welcoming and very thorough. (And I tend to be a bit picky when it comes to details... I was spoiled in big cities.) She really takes her time to make your nails look perfect. I had my pedicure done by a different lady and it was also perfect. The end product was as good as the pedicure I have received at the steep 5-star hotel spa. Also, I got to try the Nepali tea for the first time in my life! Seemed fine at first but it took forever for my friends and to get our nails done. The people were nice but we are not satisfied with our nails. They were poorly done. I asked to keep my nails long but they were cute down way to short. When the lady got done the dip nail polish was spread off of my nail and into my skin. I asked her to fix it and she did the best she could but I still had to go home and fix them myself. My friends nails were uneven and not shaped the right way. Wouldn't go back for nails. The location & appearance on the outside really made me hesitate, but it had the best reviews in Lubbock, So.. I had a pink & white full set done, & I hated the way it came out. You can see where she put the acrylic nail, they were uneven & just not done right. I was highly disappointed. I also got the deluxe pedi, my toes came out okay.. Also a little uneven. Love getting my eyebrows done here and 100% recommend for that but I don't suggest getting your nails done here. Tried shellac lasted a week and tried the dip wish also lasted a week (dip is supposed to last 4 weeks or more). With the dip she uses the gel top coat which she admitted to me because it dries faster and she doesn't have to wait for the dip top coat to dry which is why I think I had so many problems. I went to her a week after I got them done and she fixed them for me, no charge then I went back a week after that because I was having the same issues and charged me $10 which is fine but she did try to blame me the second time.. read more

I wasnt sure to paint my nails as it was so short and i didnt wanted any fake nails but wanted them to look something better and natural, people here are always ready to suggest.....I never thought dark color would suits me,I was tired of my nails breaking and getting brittle they suggested me to wear gel polish and let it grow, which I think is defiantly a good idea. I have been going to this place for my threading, Mani, Pedi, Haircuts and Facials since past year. Lalita is the best when it comes to making you feel pampered and makes sure you are completely satisfied with her work. I have been served by most of her staff and have been very happy with their service. If I am not satisfied, which is rare, they make sure the work is redone to my satisfaction. The wait time here is ridiculous. There's only one person who does acrylic nails and she takes anywhere from an hour to 2 hours on one client. Such sweet women who work here! She shaped my nails exactly the way I like them! However, the acrylic was a lot thicker than I normally get, (I got the white tips) so it's pretty obvious that they're fake. Had some glue left over on my finger tips as well. There was also some pretty significant bubbling on my thumbs mainly... And also on a few other nails. For the final result I had, I find this location to be a but pricier than it should be. I doubt that I will be back! But I will say, Lalita is so sweet and precise... I do wonder what the pink and white solars would have looked like. My skin is a little dry,but that is front removing the shellac polish earlier! The service was good, I got a mani and my eyebrows threaded. My eyebrows look great and I will return here for my threading for now on. I like my nails for the price I paid for. I had to tell the lady to touch up on some edges and she left a small furball dry up in my index finger (you can see a small gray spot in the picture) and a small smear in my ring finger. Also, the place was packed and they started on a very young customer and when a older women came in they stopped serving the young girl to assist the other women, which is not okay in my book! Also there seemed to be a small employee fight going on, but it was handled professionally. Hopefully another costumer doesn't have to see it. Wow, I just love their services at this place. The owner Lady is so sweet and always make sure her every clients are happy before they leave. I went there for pedicure, full set and eyebrows. I just loved their pedicure and they did my nails just as I want, perfectly. I tried threading for the first time and its just amazing pain-free threading I experienced. I've been here three times. The first time was incredible. Lalita made sure my nails were perfect before letting me leave. The second time I went another woman did my nails and they were all different lengths and sizes. She was patient and willing to fix the errors. The third time I went in my nails were bubbly even after they had been redone and took hours to do. I just got so frustrated that I went home and repainted them myself.
