Horrible. The man never removed the old polish. He barely put my feet in the water and slapped polish on. He threw my sandals in a bag and said I had to leave in pedi flips. After going to CA nails for the last several months I will not go back ever again. I had a brand new set put on in the middle of June and a fill in the middle of July. In the 2 weeks since I've had this set, I have had 3 nails come off. When I went to have the first one fixed, a week after having them done, everything was good. They fixed it and sent me on my way. When I went in to get the 2nd one fixed, I was told they were falling off because the set was too old and that I need to get them done more often. I have been getting my nails done for 11 years and have never had this issue, especially after a set has only been filled once. The lady that "fixed" my nail didn't even put a tip on, she just put acrylic on my nail and painted it, leaving it 1/2 inch shorter than my other thumb nail. And they had the audacity to charge me to fix their mistake. I lost another nail today but I sure won't be going to them to get it fixed. I'm disappointed because I thought I had finally found a good nail place. I was wrong. read more

I went to Texas to visit my friend. My friend and I came here to get our nails done. This place was clean and the service was really good. I heard my friend says this place has some new employees, and I got nails done by a young girl named Tutu. She did a very good job!! She is nice and friendly. Second time I've gone here, I got my acrylic removed and she did a great job of making sure it was all off and was not painful at all. When they do acrylics it lasts for at least a month and everyone is so nice. read more

Awful place. DO NOT GO HERE! I went here for a pedicure after work. The technician who did my pedicure was very unexperienced. The water was scorching hot but I asked him to cool it & he did so thank you for that.. I chose the green tea "royal pedicure" It had been a while since I had a pedicure so I wanted to go all out. Unfortunately I had a reaction to something they use at their nail salon. The staff was very insensitive. I told them I wanted to stop the pedicure and go home because it was hurting to much to continue. I was told by the staff that I have an allergy. I've had many pedicures in my lifetime and have never had any reactions. They still made me pay $45 for the pedicure and gave me a $5 gift card for the next visit. I can assure you I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again. Please save yourself & avoid this salon. read more

Everything was clean and smelled nice. The lady who greeted my friend and I was very pleasant, and we were immediately ushered back to a station. There is no posted price list, instead you receive a menu when you sit down. We each selected the basic pedicure ($30, included the basic nail care and polish as well as an exfoliating leg scrub and lotion). The gentleman I had was a little rough at one point with my cuticles, but for the most part took great care. I appreciated that, and enjoyed the pedicure. The only thing I wasn't very happy about was the polish job. The polish isn't smooth, there are layers that are easily seen, and some nails weren't entirely covered. As far as the finish, I'm wondering if it was an older bottle? Not very happy with the nail polish, but I can easily repaint them myself. Pedicure was relaxing. Might go again. Edited to add: when my pedi was done, I watched the man put a new bag of sterilized tools into his tool box. They use clean tools. :) read more

I have been here twice and i bled both times. Yes accidents happen, but both times? My nails were cut to the quick. I didn't ask for a manicure and got one, just wanted shellac on my nails. I am done with this place. The man didnt seem to know what he was doing. I can it recommend this salon. read more

If I could give no star review I would. I highly recommend you NEVER go to this place. I went just for a take off old polish n put new on. The lady took my polish off partially and it was red. I asked her to take it all off and she got angry, raised her voice and said I was difficult! I had a lighter purple to go on top. She didn't take off all the red polish and painted on top and you can still see the red underneath! I called to speak with the owner, because I had to leave due to a time crunch...a lady answered and stated the owner was not there...I asked for a manager and she hung up on me. I called back 2 more times and no one would answer! Seriously unprofessional and rude! I recommend EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOUSY PLACE!!!! read more

Went after work without calling ahead for a shallec manicure. I was greeted right away, offered a drink, and shown my color options. The staff were so kind and attentive, asked me exactly how I wanted my nails shaped and what color I wanted. They spent so much time shaping my nails perfectly (they were in rough shape) and TuTu (not sure of spelling) did a perfect job. She's a perfectionist! My nails look great and I can definitely say this is one of the best manicures I've ever had. Thank you! read more

I think my nail technician was named Kim. She was very quick and accurate. Most importantly, she was gentle while still removing skin, cuticles, etc. I don't typically like talking too much during appointments, but she was so nice, I didn't mind talking at all. Everyone was very friendly. They have a ton of different drinks and services. I went mid-morning on a Friday. The place is very hygienic as well. I will definitely be returning. read more

The nail technician I had a C A Nails was extremely rough on my hands and was rude in general. She did not say a word to me the entire time. I was not disappointed nor pleased with her work. The only positive remark I can give is that the prices were very reasonable. But even paying low prices doesn't make up for poor service. I happened to be near 4th and Slide and decided at the last minute to get my nails done. I just did an internet search of nearby places and this location came up with an average rating of 4 stars. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a gentleman who didn't understand when I was asking for a French manicure with dips. His English was very poor and he kept pointing to acrylics. I showed him I have natural nails and he still seemed confused. Another technician explained to him what I wanted and he just told me he didn't do that. I should have left then. I asked him if he at least did French shellac and he said he did. When he removed the polish I had on (regular polish), he didn't get it all off. He did trim my cuticles (barely), but that was all the prep work he did. Then, he got out the polish. I started scraping what was left of the old polish off my nails and he just sat there and watched. He was clearly uncomfortable with the shellac process. His hands were shaking and he had to do the white tips over several times on three fingers. The polish remover he was using to shape the white was on the base coat so much, it began to wear it away. So the finish is not smooth. The whole thing took way too long as well. I do not recommend CA Nails. read more

This was my go to nail salon for shellac manis, pedis, and eye brow waxing for six years. Their tools and equipment were always well cleaned and they had a great variety of services. Owners and technicians were always friendly. I have since moved to another part of the country and am finding it hard to find a nail salon as great as CA Nails. read more

I will NOT return or recommended this place, first walking in I felt rushed and hovered, and their was absolutely no on there! I ended up asking for shellac nails in the color black, and boy was that a mistake! First off he didn't even choose a "gel" polish, which I thought was kind of weird! Then he goes on to paint my nails, and the polish looked very old, and sticky! He kept adding coats and my nails looked like a gooey mess, it kept spreading, and after 5 coats and lint all over my wet nails, I asked him to remove it! I ended up leaving with only paying 15 bucks for my manicure, which I've had better! But lesson learned! read more
