I went to the Eman Threading on University but couldn't find that location on here. I had a great experience! I got my brows threaded. The lady who did them was very sweet and accommodating (asking if I felt okay, comfortable, etc)! She gave me lotion to soothe the inflammation, which a lot of places don't do anymore. First, I need to say that I am VERY picky about my eyebrows. I've had horrible experiences with waxing--from sharpie brows to sperm brows. Anyways, when I discovered threading, it was much better because it gives the threadist more control over what shes doing. That way i dont end up with thin eyebrows. I've been going to the place in the mall with varied results. Some times I loved them and sometimes I didnt. I finally found my forever threadist here in Lubbock. My brows came out a tiny bit uneven but i think thats because thats how they grow and its not noticeable. Her name is Apexa and shes the owner of the location on 50th. Im not going to lie, eyebrow threading kinda hurts, but so does every other method of removing hair from your face. I also got an underarm wax. I was really apprehensive because it was my first time, but she was so gentle. This is going to sound weird, but it was more like a massage than a wax. I loved her and I highly recommend her! The shop seems kind of sketchy but I enjoyed all the services I got. I will be coming back. Theres also a 10% student discount! =) read more

Some women, gasp, have facial hair that we'd rather not show! I know, hard to imagine!! If you are allergic to wax or just don't like it and have a somewhat tolerance to pain, try getting your eyebrows or face threaded. I love it! Threading seems to provide a cleaner line (eyebrow definition) than waxing and gets those little white hairs that wax misses. You can get henna tattoos done here too. This place has a sister location on Quaker and 50th, by the McD's. That one is a full service salon. Hair, nails, etc. It's just as awesome. read more

She shaped the brows pretty evenly but missed some strays closer to my eyelid that I noticed in better lighting and had to remove on my own with tweezers. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!! Went to get my eyebrows tinted and she didn't even care to be careful with the tint. I tried scrubbing my eyebrows raw and this tint still will not come off my skin, so I showed up to my date looking like this. I asked for a darker color as well and she would not let it be darker. I also asked her to do it like this one picture I had and she did not care and took a thick brush and just painted my brows. read more

If you have thick eyebrows I would not recommend this place. I've came to this location many times and every time I have to tell them to redo it maybe 4 times and it still doesn't come out right. If you like your eyebrows to look sharp, don't come here, they leave my eyebrows bushy every time. I think this place is good for someone with thin eyebrows who are used to drawing them to a shape they desire. My eyebrows are thick enough that with a good threader they look perfect. *Please note that I am comparing this location to places in Dallas, who get it right the first time, every time. read more

Definitely the best place to do eyebrows in Lubbock. I've been here for the past 5 months already for threading. All the different ladies that I've had so far have done a great job. The place has always been very clean and well kept.
