    Chocolate silk pie very good!
    Jennifer T.

I've been wanting to come here for some time, but I wasn't able to get a reservation. I'm glad I finally did. The focaccia bread they start you with was so delicious! For appetizer we started with the Caesar salad we both enjoyed. For entrees we shared the lobster francaise, lobster Mac and cheese, and the truffle corn. Believe it or not our favorite dish was the truffle corn! It was loaded with black truffles, and tasted amazing! That was the first time we ever hade such a unique side dish. The lobster Mac and cheese and lobster francaise were very good. For desserts we had the blueberry cheesecake bread pudding and the chocolate silk pie. The center of the bread pudding was delicious, but the end pieces were bunt and dry. The chocolate silk pie was very good. The food here for the most part was excellent overall. We felt a lot of the appetizers were overpriced, but they are definitely shareable. The one thing we didn't like is that 3 coffees and one was a refill came to $21 and the coffee wasn't great. A restaurant should at least give a complimentary refill. We will definitely come back and try more dishes since we enjoyed everything. I recommend Olea Restaurant in Spring Lake!

We had an amazing night at Olea. It was well deserving of 5-stars. Nestled inside the Shore Club which is a banquet/event space, Olea service starts at the door with complimentary valet which is optional. A red carpet welcomes you into the large waiting/bar area. Once you enter the actual restaurant, there are 2 dining areas. The first is more intimate. A smaller space with a fireplace and leather benches line the room. The larger space where we were seated was also very nice, but a bit louder. The dark accents with all of the greenery was a great touch. When you come to Olea, think "Steakhouse". Entrees are ordered separately from sides and all portions are large and filling. Cocktails were very good. They start you off with bread and mixed olives. All of the food was delicious! I'm not a fan of oysters, but others at the table raved about them. We had Lobster Mac, Scallops (6), Brussel Sprouts & Halibut. We had no room for dessert because again, the portions were large. It's a high end restaurant, pricey, but the quality is there. Service was excellent from everyone. Valet, hostesses, all wait staff. Olea is great for large parties, special occasions or just a night out. We surely will return.

Hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. We came here for our anniversary, and from the moment we walked in, they made us feel special. They had a "Happy Anniversary" sign waiting on our table and even surprised us with a complimentary champagne toast. The food was incredible. The tartare was amazing, the duck fat crispy potatoes were honestly the best potatoes I've ever had in my life, the branzino was cooked perfectly with crispy skin, and the spicy rigatoni was a 10/10. We finished with the churro dessert, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was outstanding, and every single dish exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a place for a date night or a special occasion, Olea is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back.

For starters, the ambiance is EVERYTHING. I love a good aesthetic restaurant and this just checks all of the boxes. The entrance, the lobby, the dining room are all just beautiful. Even the tables and chairs are unique to what I see at other restaurants. The food itself is so delicious. The free bread you get in the beginning with olive oil is SO GOOD and I can't explain why. Maybe the added Parmesan on top completes it? I don't know but I find myself wanting more. My friend and I shared an appetizer and it was so good and cooked to perfection. We both got pasta for our mains and then the dessert knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend trying the churro cruller. The service was great, I love when servers check on me just enough times to where I need them and they're not actually annoying me. Very well timed. Very kind people.

Great new spot. Sat in the lounge, which is more intimate and has the full dining menu. Large waiting area with a bar before entering the lounge. Trendy ambiance, loungey vibe. Cocktails are on point. Particularly liked the Young Urban Professional and the Crimson and Clover. For food we enjoyed the crab cake rangoon and the squid ink tonnarelli. The crab cake rangoon was a unique twist on a traditional crab rangoon, nice flavors. Side dishes are substantial. We had the squash side as an appetizer, it's enough to share. Definitely plan to come back and try a few other things on the menu and maybe make it to dessert next time. Food tips: crab cake rangoon. Squid ink tonnarelli Drink tips: Young Urban Professional. Beautiful, upscale atmosphere. Lots of trees and cozy decor with a Mediterranean touch. Menu was more American/Italian style overall. High prices but large plates for sharing. Loved the bread service with melted butter inside and the freshest olives sprinkled with parsley and olive oil to dip. Excellent Caesar salad, nice touch with the fried capers. Crudo was prepared almost like a ceviche--very fresh and thinly sliced raw tuna. Crab Rangoon came with 4, a bit fishy in flavor, but filled well. Spicy rigatoni sauce was excellent; the pasta was cooked just right. Nice kick to it, but not overbearing. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Recommend the crispy potatoes (fried in duck fat) and Brussel sprouts (charred and drizzled with hot honey, so yummy). Can't speak for the other sides. Olive oil cake was extremely light and delightful with an orange twist and berry compote. Chocolate cake came more like mousse in a martini glass, pretty good. Was not blown away by any cocktails per-se, but inventive selections. Service was very friendly but very slow. They don't leave water for the table and provide the tiniest cups so I was constantly flagging down for refills. Hopefully they get the hang of things... best of luck!

Newer spot in the Sea Girt / Spring Lake area located in the previous catering / banquet hall. Similar restaurant to Butchers Block Great interior re-design inside, hostess and service was great. Highly recommend the bread, fish, crab Rangoon, Caesar and sides. Everything else was still great and we ordered a lot so was happily full.

Last night we went back to Ola for dinner, and it was another amazing experience! Peter, our waiter, was excellent, and Marshall, his assistant, was just as attentive. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed. We enjoyed cocktails, delicious appetizers, an incredible dinner, and everything was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, they surprised me with a candle in my birthday dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. The music created the perfect atmosphere, and the crowd was a great mix of ages, making for a fun, lively vibe. A huge thank you to everyone at Olea for all the wonderful birthday perks and for making the evening so special. We truly appreciated it! If you're looking for a beautiful spot for a special occasion, or just a great night out with amazing food, drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere, I highly recommend Olea in Spring Lake Heights. Enjoy dinner, then stay for cocktails at the bar and soak in the vibe. We'll definitely be back

Wow. From the greeting to getting our check, an exceptional experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's a perfect mix of elegant and trendy. Our server Akeel made excellent recommendations and was beyond attentive. We enjoyed "The Board", which was a helping of several things on the menu. Everything was amazing. Everything. We all had signature cocktails and loved them too. Will definitely be back!

What a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! From the moment we walked into Olea, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere is romantic, elegant, and just the right amount of sexy~ perfect for a special evening. Our waiter,Akeel, greeted us with a warm smile and was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable throughout the entire meal. Waiting for us at the table was a sweet anniversary card, and every staff member who passed by took a moment to wish us a happy anniversary. Those thoughtful touches made the evening feel so special. The manager even came over to introduce himself and surprised us with a complementary champagne~ a beautiful gesture that set the tone for the night. We started with the chilled shrimp cocktail, which was incredibly fresh, light, and perfectly chilled. My husband enjoyed the 24 ounce prime bone in ribeye with whipped potatoes on the side, cooked to absolute perfection. I chose the spicy rig, and it was every bit as delicious as I'd hoped after reading the menu. One of the highlights of the evening came when I noticed the pastry chef's name on the menu~ McKenzie Kleinkauf. She went to school with my son, so I asked Akeel if she happened to be there. A few moments later, she came out with the biggest smile, it was so wonderful to see her thriving and doing what she loves. It made our celebration even more meaningful. For dessert, we couldn't choose just one, so we shared the churro crullers and the blueberry cheesecake bread pudding. Both were absolutely incredible, and McKenzie added the sweetest, finishing touch by decorating our dessert with two hearts for our anniversary. The entire evening was memorable from beginning to end. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and heartfelt hospitality, made our first visit to Olea one will never forget. Thank you to everyone who made our anniversary so special. We can't wait to come back.

From the moment we walked into Olea, we knew we were in for something special! The atmosphere is upscale elegant with a warm welcoming feel, that's both sophisticated and inviting. Every detail, from the beautiful décor to the attentive service, made us feel special. The meal was exceptional from start to finish. The chefs' commitment to quality was evident in every beautifully presented dish. From the appetizers to dessert, every bite exceeded our expectations. The fresh bread with sliced olives served dripping with rich olive oil and cheese was absolutely irresistible and the perfect way to begin the evening. The steak was cooked to perfection--rich, tender, and incredibly flavorful--and the delicious lobster tail made the perfect accompaniment. The flavorful spaghetti and clam sauce was incredible--with toasted breadcrumbs and packed with flavor in every bite. The pork was incredibly tender--so juicy and succulent. We also loved the broccoli rabe, it was best we ever had. The caesar salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly dressed. And don't skip dessert! Everything was delicious, including a standout tiramisu sundae that was rich, creamy, and the perfect finish to the meal, along with the churros--crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. The service was equally impressive and Gavin, our server ensured that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. What truly made the evening unforgettable was the outstanding attention from Evan, Peter and Alyssa who went above and beyond to make sure our night was fabulous. They were warm and attentive, and checked on us throughout the evening to make everything was perfect. Their hospitality made an already incredible dining experience even more memorable. Olea is more than just a restaurant--it's a dining experience. Between the phenomenal food, exceptional service, and beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, it's easy to see why so many people love it. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable restaurant experience!

We decided to come back again last night, and once again, the food was wonderful. The veal parmesan was amazing. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. I guess this is why there is no salt and peppers shakers on the table lol. My Partner got the skirt steak and fries. Again he enjoyed both but prefers his own marinade. Bottom line this place is more than your average place cost wise. Knowing how to cook and get a piece of filet mignon for $14.00 at ShopRite and a skirt steak for $25 at best and do it yourself doesn't justify the cost. The atmosphere was ok little dark, we did get a nice corner table. Otherwise tight seating. Our server was super polite and gracious for our tip. There was never a shortage of grilled meats, with staff constantly rotating through and taking a glance at your table to see if you're ready for the next skewer of goodness that they had. Our favorites: skirt steak (it was so tender and flavorful), picanha, chicken wrapped in bacon (was so smokey & juicy) and finally, the grilled pineapple. You definitely need to stay until you had a taste of that! My one complaint would be that the salad bar/hot buffet dishes weren't changed out nearly enough, but with all the staff working on the meat orders you can't be that upset with that. We started with the bread, a focaccia, which was served with an olive oil that had a large roasted garlic in it. It was a delicious starter, and complimented our Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was 'different' - aren't they all? I've been experiencing very different types - the one tonight had a subtle dressing - with a subdued sweetness. The grated Parmesan and Breadcrumbs smothered the salad - when you see the picture, you'll understand. It was a good salad, however I would have preferred less grating and more dressing. Next up, the Waygu Meatballs, in a delicious San Marzano tomato sauce. The meatballs were excellent. I was mystified by the accompanying 'jar' of 'basil' ricotta. See attached picture-it's a large amount of ricotta - I tasted it - it was very creamy but the basil was faintly noticeable. I added a little to a meatball and it didn't enhance the 'bite' at all. I was embarrassed leaving this large jar of cheese. We shared the two entrees - the first, Sea Bass on a bed of mashed potatoes was cooked perfectly and had the most delicate taste. It was 'too delicate', if there is such a thing as- for they say, ' good fish, doesn't taste like fish '. However, the fish needed seasoning or sauce - one or the other, or both. The next entree was the mushroom house made ravioli - a tender pasta with a mushroom filling covered in a creamy, earthy mushroom sauce. We also ordered a side of sautéed wild mushrooms and added those to the ravioli - it was a wonderful dish.
