Won a beer mug, t-shirt, hat and a free drink just by participating. - A bar scene featuring a Samuel Adams beer mug topped with a wide-brimmed hat, alongside a can of Sun Ruiser lemonade vodka, on a wooden bar table.

Great service, thanks to Shannon. The crowd is friendly and i was surprised because they had this Samuel Adams Stein hoisting competition when i went and it was a fun experience. And the burger was amazing

Crab Cake and Tater Tots

This is a true local place at the north end of Market Street. Nothing fancy but good food, drink and reasonable pricing. The bill for a crabcake sandwich with tater tots, cheeseburger with tater tots, diet soda and a gin and tonic was $42 before tip. In this day and age no complaints. The service was good, kitchen was quick and the food was delicious. Tater Tots are not something you normally see on a menu and they are so good here. Burger was large and the Crab Cake was also a good size. We drove 25 miles to come here it was that good.

Great Place! Excellent food at fair prices and the portions are nice too. Very Friendly staff (That includes the owner), very clean place. The Decor I can only describe as "rustic" (for lack of a better word) as that have vintage signage from a variety of companies. Go for one of their lunch specials or on their $3.50 burger night, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I went there during the fire and ice first Saturday on February 1st. It was crowded but the staff handled it very well. We've been theRe several times beFore. And have always been satisfied. Keep up the good work. I recommend olde town tavern highly.

Fun little bar/restaurant. Been there twice ordered different food both times. Enjoyed it and will go back if I'm ever back in the area.

Don't go here if you're from out of state. They'll give you a super hard time about it. Then almost not serve you.

I'd call it a Dive Bar but it's not really fair as this place is super clean, open and well lit with darts, pool, ping pong, golden tee.

The ingredients are fresh, the service is friendly and gregarious, the food is delicious and exceptional. I have enjoyed several different dishes on multiple occasions now and can say without question that this food is exceptional and rare outside Italy. Everything in this space is authentic, from the relatively short menu to the service it is a treat to have such an excellent meal for what amounts to a very good price. No question, in Frederick this is consistently the best Italian food served with care and pleasure. I have not had a single issue with anything over perhaps 6 dining experiences here. It is an absolute pleasure to enjoy a lovey glass of wine with the outstanding pasta dishes! If Fredrick needs anything, it is more small and outstanding restaurants like this where quality and value are in harmony.

Ambiance is good - and on a Monday night the place was absolutely PACKED. Lots of good vibes by a crowd that looked like they treated it as their go-to place. I was there with a group, so I browsed the online menu before I got there to make ordering more efficient. Our server did a nice job taking drink orders (really nice wine selection and you can BYOB for a nominal corkage fee), explaining the extensive sauce selections, and helping folks pick from an equally extensive past list (Rigatoni, Ziti, Penne, Spaghetti, Fusilli, Fettuccine, Linguine, Capellini, Mini Shells, Paccheri, and a "pasta of the day"). I chose the Casalinga: veal cubes cooked in caramelized onions, carrots and green peas in a tomato sauce with a touch of cream. I asked him to pick a pasta for me, thinking I would get one from the standard offerings. He upsold me the pasta of the day for $7.25, which looked suspiciously like the rigatoni I could have enjoyed for free. My bad, but still - would have been nice to have been asked. The sauce was OK, with good chunks of veal, but I did not see or taste any carrots, and saw just a few peas. Not what I was expecting. Prices were reasonable, and service (other that the unremarked upsell) was very good. I still prefer Fratelli's in Middletown (or better yet, my own sauce cooked in my own kitchen with some nice homemade sausage, meatballs, and bracciole. Sunday gravy, shared with the fam around our loaded dining room table.) But not bad overall.

But after hearing good things, I figured it deserved a second chance -- and this time it delivered. I ordered an apple martini, which was really tasty, and the fettuccine Alfredo with added chicken and shrimp. The dish initially came out with just shrimp, but when I mentioned the missing chicken, they handled it kindly and quickly. They let me keep my pasta and brought out a nicely grilled piece of chicken topped with Alfredo sauce. It ended up being very flavorful and satisfying. My friend ordered a sausage pasta dish and thoroughly enjoyed it -- he said it was very tasty. He also had two smoked old fashioneds and really liked them. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but it still had a cozy atmosphere. The only downside was that staff members were having a very loud conversation in the dining area, playing music, and even watching something on a phone at one point. Since there weren't many customers yet, it stood out more. I'd suggest maybe keeping that to a back area or lowering the volume while guests are dining. Overall though, this visit changed my mind. I would absolutely go back.

A majority of the stuff was huddled at the bar on their cell phones watching videos and showing each other while the bartender was eating olives out of the jar. The bread was ice cold with packs of individual butter, which left a lot to be desired. The food was very average at best. The bolognese was really just ground beef and sauce and not a traditional bolognese. The spaghetti and meatballs wasn't bad but was just covered in too much sauce. The tiramisu was good but it doesn't taste like a traditional one. It has a lot of cinnamon and was covered in a lot of cocoa powder. Overall, the experience wasn't anything great.

They appear to still be using their 50/50 beef and bacon blend, and they were grinding/blending more meat when I arrived. The finished product itself makes me seriously question their palette. While smash style burgers aren't my favorite, I have enjoyed some good ones. The one I was served today was so smashed that any residual flavor from the meat blend was virtually eliminated. This was then overwhelmed by the sheer smack-your-face acid from the pickles and mustard. Further cementing my poor experience, the server acted as though my order was an afterthought. Probably not the attitude one should express towards any patron, much less to start the business day. There are LOTS of outstanding burger options in and surrounding Frederick. Given that, this genuinely poor experience, and the premium charge for their products; I am fairly certain I won't be back.
