During the day, it's a hip hangout with plenty of craft beers and a limited menu of bar food. At night, it's a whole different experience. You can expect a dance floor with limited seating. I accidentally stumbled upon the second floor--a modest arcade with a vending machine, which was the perfect place to chill out. It really did feel like a social club up here since I met people from all across Arizona and beyond. What a gem--it's good to know you can have fun late at night around here.

I ordered the Deepy Eddy Cinnamon Apple cocktail and it was fantastic. It was sweet and tart and had a cinnamon sugar rim. It's very rare I'll drink two specialty cocktails in a night and I normally switch to well drinks after but I ended up ordering two. The bar was clean and had a decent pool table, although a lot of the cues needed replacing. The bartender was really nice and managed his bar well serving drinks fast. If you're in Sierra Vista and looking to grab a drink, I would definitely recommend this bar.

We called to make a reservation- if stairs are challenging choose the first floor (more accessible but louder). We were seated on the 3rd floor and it was perfect. Much more quiet and had a musician playing the guitar! Our Server was Laurel and she explained the daily specials and answered questions about the menu. We ordered the sampler which came with artichokes wrapped in bacon, dates and red peppers stuffed with cream cheese. I could have eaten like five more samplers because they were that good. For dinner, I order the Penne pasta with spicy sausage. My husband ordered the lamb meatballs, which came with couscous and chickpeas in a very mild curry sauce, which was perfect even for me. I don't need lamb and I'm not big on curry and I thought his dish was delicious. We had the creme brule for dessert and that was great as well. For drinks I ordered a Matador Rose (tequila, rose, tamarind and grapefruitz) and hubby had the Excalibur (Bourbon, blackberry, bitters). Both were SO good and fairly strong without messing with the flavors.

I ordered the mussels, one of my favorite dishes, while my girlfriend had the artichoke and mushroom lasagna. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and a caramel nut tart with mascarpone. Both of us have traveled extensively, eaten at many excellent restaurants around the world, and this was genuinely one of the better meals we've had. The restaurant is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, the food was exceptional, and the service matched it perfectly. It was also raining which made it impossible to sit outside, meaning the indoor seating area was pretty packed. We decided to lean into the sidecar of it all and order a classic prohibition sidecar. I don't think this was a traditional sidecar, which was surprising, but it was tasty. It's small, but it packs a punch. The bartenders here are very talented. The Loverlist was really good, and the Unicorn Fluff and Old Fashioned were fine. The bartender was quick to talk up their whiskey selection, but when we asked for a recommendation, she mostly gave reasons why she couldn't recommend anything and just kept saying they had "over 90 different options." Without a whiskey menu to look through, that wasn't especially helpful. We also asked for a shooter and were offered half of a cocktail instead. That would've been totally fine on its own, but combined with everything else, the service just never felt welcoming. We ended up leaving pretty quickly. It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

The only establishment that was still serving food at 9pm was Doc Holliday's Saloon. From the minute we walked in, the vibe was very "locals only" as several people were gathered at the far end of the bar where the only bartender / employee was working her crowd. Keep in mind this was a Friday night and there were maybe 10 people gathered around socializing. We waited patiently at the center of the bar hoping to catch the bartender's attention. After a few minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement of our presence, I moved towards the end of the bar where the bartender was holding her audience of locals. We were a bit road weary and just wanted to order a pizza to go and take it back to our hotel as it had been a long day. Apparently we did catch her attention because she proceeded to say "Don't worry - I'll be right fucking with you", rolled her eyes, then winked at her regulars. Keep in mind all we did was stand at the bar - we did not call out to her or even wave or raise our hands to catch her attention, we just merely moved closer to where she was. We left immediately. It was a terrible experience. If I could, I would give this employee and Doc Holliday's Saloon ZERO stars based on this woman's atrocious behavior and unprofessionalism. My daughter is a young, local dive bar enthusiast and also rates this establishment as a flop. The one bright spot was the bouncer who was very nice. It's a shame his co-worker is exceptionally rude and he has to work with her. On a positive note, we had an exceptional experience down the road at Circle K with Matt who gave us a history of Boot Hill and we were able to find pizza there as well. I would highly recommend passing on Doc Holliday's Saloon and head over to see Matt at Circle K instead.
