The bar isn't extravagant, but it's really nice for what it is, and it seems to have a lot of space for events. I also really liked that there was some places that were dark and others that were well lit so you could go between the two, something other bars don't always have. I ordered the Deepy Eddy Cinnamon Apple cocktail and it was fantastic. It was sweet and tart and had a cinnamon sugar rim. It's very rare I'll drink two specialty cocktails in a night and I normally switch to well drinks after but I ended up ordering two. The bar was clean and had a decent pool table, although a lot of the cues needed replacing. The bartender was really nice and managed his bar well serving drinks fast. If you're in Sierra Vista and looking to grab a drink, I would definitely recommend this bar.

It's located on the north end of a strip mall on the east side of SR92. There is no marquee off the highway, which is one reason it's not easy to find. I put the address in my Google Maps and it got me to the front door. I made Punchy's a meetup place for my beer-drinking friend yesterday. He, too, hadn't heard of it. We both walked in on a Wednesday at 3:45pm. The bar area had its steady clientele and another table of three sat nearby. What people first notice as they enter is the spaciousness. The bar is a horseshoe bar with room for 12 stools. It's a full bar, with 12 beers on tap and many more bottled. Most of the draft beer is only $5. That is on the lower end when compared to other bars in the area. I ended up ordering two different beers during my stay: Big Blue Van wheat beer and a Wow Wheat, and also had a late lunch from the food truck and had a patty melt for $7. It looked and tasted so good, my friend ordered one as well. He had his Dragoon IPA with that. Service was friendly and efficient. I like the dog-friendly shaded patio. I will definitely take advantage of it once it cools down some. There is much going on during the week. Mondays is Cornhole day in the evenings, Thursdays is bike night, and there are bands on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There are at least two pool tables and an air hockey table.

From the minute we walked in, the vibe was very "locals only" as several people were gathered at the far end of the bar where the only bartender / employee was working her crowd. Keep in mind this was a Friday night and there were maybe 10 people gathered around socializing. We waited patiently at the center of the bar hoping to catch the bartender's attention. After a few minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement of our presence, I moved towards the end of the bar where the bartender was holding her audience of locals. We were a bit road weary and just wanted to order a pizza to go and take it back to our hotel as it had been a long day. Apparently we did catch her attention because she proceeded to say "Don't worry - I'll be right fucking with you", rolled her eyes, then winked at her regulars. Keep in mind all we did was stand at the bar - we did not call out to her or even wave or raise our hands to catch her attention, we just merely moved closer to where she was. We left immediately. It was a terrible experience. If I could, I would give this employee and Doc Holliday's Saloon ZERO stars based on this woman's atrocious behavior and unprofessionalism. My daughter is a young, local dive bar enthusiast and also rates this establishment as a flop. The one bright spot was the bouncer who was very nice. It's a shame his co-worker is exceptionally rude and he has to work with her. On a positive note, we had an exceptional experience down the road at Circle K with Matt who gave us a history of Boot Hill and we were able to find pizza there as well. I would highly recommend passing on Doc Holliday's Saloon and head over to see Matt at Circle K instead.

During the day, it's a hip hangout with plenty of craft beers and a limited menu of bar food. At night, it's a whole different experience. You can expect a dance floor with limited seating. I accidentally stumbled upon the second floor--a modest arcade with a vending machine, which was the perfect place to chill out. It really did feel like a social club up here since I met people from all across Arizona and beyond. What a gem--it's good to know you can have fun late at night around here.
