There's not exactly a huge nightlife scene in Sierra Vista but my husband and I really wanted to go…read moreout to a bar and this was the one recommended. The bar isn't extravagant, but it's really nice for what it is, and it seems to have a lot of space for events. I also really liked that there was some places that were dark and others that were well lit so you could go between the two, something other bars don't always have. I ordered the Deepy Eddy Cinnamon Apple cocktail and it was fantastic. It was sweet and tart and had a cinnamon sugar rim. It's very rare I'll drink two specialty cocktails in a night and I normally switch to well drinks after but I ended up ordering two. The bar was clean and had a decent pool table, although a lot of the cues needed replacing. The bartender was really nice and managed his bar well serving drinks fast. If you're in Sierra Vista and looking to grab a drink, I would definitely recommend this bar.

I had to put some more thought into this one for my final review. Been coming here for the past 14…read moreyears. Was always my favorite neighborhood bar. The new owners have put a lot of effort into this establishment. Remodeled, nice bathrooms, lots of big screen TVs with all the current sporting events, dart boards, pool tables, Cornhole court & outdoor covered seating with ceiling fans. New owners & staff are awesome. On the downside, the clientele there is like no place else in this town. Reminds me of the Dusk to Dawn movie with George Clooney. Even tho J am banned for life from this establishment, I would still recommend it as a locals neighborhood sports bar. Just have to be aware of your surroundings, especially at night. (Dusk to Dawn)

Only thing that sucks is that they only have two bartenders working on weekends when it is jam packed with soldiers!!! It really blows when you have to wait 15 min for a a drink. As for the place it self it's a pretty small layout. Hence it's called a "pub" but other than long waits for drinks on the weekends it's a pretty decent place to drink in this town

I didn't know about this place until it showed up on Yelp as a bar in Sierra Vista about a year…read moreago. I had never heard of it so I decided to check it out. It's located on the north end of a strip mall on the east side of SR92. There is no marquee off the highway, which is one reason it's not easy to find. I put the address in my Google Maps and it got me to the front door. I made Punchy's a meetup place for my beer-drinking friend yesterday. He, too, hadn't heard of it. We both walked in on a Wednesday at 3:45pm. The bar area had its steady clientele and another table of three sat nearby. What people first notice as they enter is the spaciousness. The bar is a horseshoe bar with room for 12 stools. It's a full bar, with 12 beers on tap and many more bottled. Most of the draft beer is only $5. That is on the lower end when compared to other bars in the area. I ended up ordering two different beers during my stay: Big Blue Van wheat beer and a Wow Wheat, and also had a late lunch from the food truck and had a patty melt for $7. It looked and tasted so good, my friend ordered one as well. He had his Dragoon IPA with that. Service was friendly and efficient. I like the dog-friendly shaded patio. I will definitely take advantage of it once it cools down some. There is much going on during the week. Mondays is Cornhole day in the evenings, Thursdays is bike night, and there are bands on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There are at least two pool tables and an air hockey table.

He later mingles with the audience after his set. I sat at the bar and was waited by a bartender dressed in 1950s regalia. The look fit her. The sandwich was grilled right at the bar and came out promptly. Cranberries are mixed into the cheese for a pleasant taste sensation, but the slight vinegary aftertaste was less appealing. The interior is typical of a century old mining town. A stuffed coyote stands on the stop shelf and several animal heads adorn the wall.a pool table sits in the corner. I've been here before to listen to live music and this place can get crowded.
