We also brought our own snacks too, wonderful for those of us on specific diets. I highly suggest the VIP package so you can throw more than just axes but for me personally the axes worked best so I kind of stuck with those. They taught us games and the music playlist was spot on. It's not expensive and a great time for grown-ups to get together and do the things our parents didn't allow us to do when we were kids! Although they allow players from 10 years of age, to me, this is more of a grown folks thing. So the next time you're looking for something unique to do, I highly suggest you check out St Hubert's. We reserved our spot in one of the three lanes (each lane has two targets you can throw at at once), and were paired up with a family of four. They were very friendly, so we all just rotated through to all take turns throwing the axes. The axes are only a couple pounds, so not too heavy, but if it's your first time it definitely takes a little while to get the hang of. There is an employee nearby at all times to go through safety rules, teach throwing techniques, and provide advise throughout the two-hour time period. Once we got the hang of things, he even suggested some games we could play to make things more competitive. Overall, we had a great time. Is it worth $30/person? Perhaps. But I think the $42 Groupon is much more reasonable, and a price point where I'd likely return more frequently rather than 1x per year because of the cost. At $30/person you're looking at a cost similar to Top Golf which has far better facilities and higher overhead than a garage with wood to toss axes at. I'm not sure how it compares to other axe throwing places in town, but I will mention it's in an outdoor garage-type of venue. Not a nice, air conditioned building like others seem to have. The main reasons I docked a star are because of the price and the lack of air conditioning (I was definitely sweating!). I didn't venture to the bathroom because I read that it's just a port-a-potty, so made sure I went before we arrived. Again, for the price I'd hope for a decent bathroom! Bottom line, it's a fun date night and would be a lot of fun with a group of friends,.however would be even better if it was more reasonably priced!

I finally stopped by yesterday afternoon, a Friday, when I read the reviews here mentioning craft beer on tap. I had to check this out. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the dark lighting reminds you that you are in a bar, but there are now various sections within the space for a variety of happenings: dancing, listening to live music, shooting pool, sitting on couches by a fire place, sitting at tables with friends, or sitting at the bar. Seats and tables are spread apart to comply with the 6' distancing. I sat at the bar with my friend and had a variety of Arizona craft beers. It was an off hour and quiet enough for conversation without yelling. I'm sure this place can get loud and crowded late on a Friday or Saturday night. Happy Hours are 3-6pm every day when the tap beers are $5 and there are IPAs, blondes, pale ales, stouts to choose from. The beers are constantly changing. I had a beer brat for $5 to stave off my hunger and got to talk to the friendly managers, Miles and Debbie, who both were very attentive to my friend and me. The outdoor patio is also dog friendly as long as the dog is nice, is leashed, and refrains from drinking alcohol. I will be back!

It's located on the north end of a strip mall on the east side of SR92. There is no marquee off the highway, which is one reason it's not easy to find. I put the address in my Google Maps and it got me to the front door. I made Punchy's a meetup place for my beer-drinking friend yesterday. He, too, hadn't heard of it. We both walked in on a Wednesday at 3:45pm. The bar area had its steady clientele and another table of three sat nearby. What people first notice as they enter is the spaciousness. The bar is a horseshoe bar with room for 12 stools. It's a full bar, with 12 beers on tap and many more bottled. Most of the draft beer is only $5. That is on the lower end when compared to other bars in the area. I ended up ordering two different beers during my stay: Big Blue Van wheat beer and a Wow Wheat, and also had a late lunch from the food truck and had a patty melt for $7. It looked and tasted so good, my friend ordered one as well. He had his Dragoon IPA with that. Service was friendly and efficient. I like the dog-friendly shaded patio. I will definitely take advantage of it once it cools down some. There is much going on during the week. Mondays is Cornhole day in the evenings, Thursdays is bike night, and there are bands on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There are at least two pool tables and an air hockey table.

The staff made sure I was safe and comfortable and said I could stay as long as I needed to recuperate! This shows their integrity, professionalism, and that they truly care about their patrons and for that, this will be my "spot" (AND I will bring others to join me in the near future). Atmosphere: I vibed to the music all night. Seating was comfortable, the space was clean and the lighting wasn't too bright. They have T.V.'s playing on each side of the venue and V.I.P. seating that can be reserved. I'll be back for sure.
