If you want a quiet night, come early.

Great place to play pool. Interactive jukebox. Prices are good. It's a little loud but fun.

I'm a Tucson native and has never set foot in SV, heard about it but haven't had the chance to check it out until now. This bar was so fun and on a random Thursday night it was poppin'. Pool tables, dart boards and a touch tunes juke box provide endless entertainment, oh and the bartender knows her drinks!

My kinda dive....it's basically the 'Cheers' of Sierra Vista. Gets cramped on the weekends, but weekdays are great.

I love all the bartenders here. It's a small town bar that welcomes its patrons with open arms.

Supporting a local pub is definitely the way to go. By far the best bar in Sierra Vista!

The great, highly original decor (mounted game…read moreheads, taxidermy, vintage comic popular art prints) hasn't changed but has been selectively added to with art by locals. It's family friendly and has been a tradition for breakfasts, birthdays for many locals since it opened in 1937. It's also the best place in town for a sitting -at- the- bar drink and conversation. The food has varied over the decades (I'm now in my 70s) but I'm still a fan. The burger and Mexican food has remained primo. The bartenders are locals who most often know their customers and treat pretty much everyone like neighbors. Saturday Karoke nights are my favorite as unexpectedly talented residents take to the mic and change your image of them forever. I think the Wagon Wheel has been written up in the New York Times twice. As one of the last originals it deserves all the attention it gets. To go to Patagonia and not check out the Wagon Wheel Saloon is just a cryin' shame.

Dark beams, creaky floors, mounted longhorns, and a massive old Brunswick backbar that probably has more stories than half the regulars. Walking in feels like stepping onto a movie set, except the beer is cold and the people are real. The menu is refreshingly short: burgers, a couple sandwiches, green-chile stew, and usually a burrito or enchilada plate. Nothing fancy, but everything is made in-house and tastes like it. We were bummed they were 86'd on the beef burrito the day we went but the cheeseburger more than made up for it. Hand-formed patty, properly griddled with crisp edges, good cheddar, fresh toppings, and a toasted bun that held together. Fries were hot and salty. Service is friendly in that small-town "you're not a stranger for long" way. Prices are fair, the patio dogs are welcome, and there's live music on weekends that somehow never drowns out conversation. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Patagonia, make the detour. Grab a stool at the ancient bar, order whatever they still have left, and soak in one of the most authentic saloons southern Arizona has left.

He obliged ;D so TY both. Bob also makes a mean Sazerac , a $6 upcharge on the rye, but good quality drinks with inventive menus will cost you here, so save up, it's worthy. Ever heard of a beer press? Ingredients to flavor your draft mixed in a French Press. Oh and the house made old fashioned bitters are tell tale cocktail elevaters that really shine. Bob also took time to read over sugar content/Cals on NA drinks in fridge with me, tiny writing and low lighting, he was very understanding and patient in helping to make a selection. The pizza? It's Jaime's from next door but no app or running there needed, the bar takes the order, delivers when ready and has the extra condiments behind the bar to parm red chili flakes or black pepper up your slices. The bottom is crisp and 72-hr cold fermented dough has great flavor as does the sauce which has slight tang and zestiness, and now my go to over Empire Pizza, my previous downtown fave. Got the Gorgonzola bacon salad with house croutons, heirloom tomatoes and for $7 small, it was plenty for both of us pre-pizza. It's large, nice and proper cold, so delicious and had the hubby singing it's praises, we can't wait to try another salad as the quality of ingredients and house made dressing was tops! Good Oak has a dark speakeasy vibe with long velvety drapes to greet you on entry, a photo booth to capture your pre and post giggly highs from what the gorgeous wood bar will provide, along a long counter with wood booths to hide away in and sip the night away. Music is on blast, metal last 2 visits and spooky Halloween decor currently, adds to the mood.Games are stashed behind the fridge and exciting art nights, Sunday spin your own Vinyl, movie projections a-coming on the shared back patio with Jaime's and corner Art Bar give you more reasons to search Good Oak out, if you ever needed one! And there is a Happy Hr with discounted drinks ..ck Insta.
