Bellied right up to the bar, got drinks and menus immediately, waited less than 5 minutes to order food, and food was out in less than 10 minutes after that. Michelle was absolutely wonderful and it was lovely talking to her and another patron (may have been the owner!) at the bar about Bisbee and Tombstone. We hope to be back for lunch on our return home - 10/10, would recommend!

Our bartender was extremely busy, but she still managed to check on us regularly (kudos to her for that). For drinks, we ordered a house Cabernet Sauvignon and a draft beer, both were great. For snacks, we tried the chicken wings: half honey sauce (our favorite, crispy and delicious) and half bourbon. The bourbon wings had great flavor, though we felt they were slightly undercooked. Prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms were clean, but they were missing paper towels. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu

The beer is always ice cold, the restrooms are clean, and the whole place has a welcoming, laidback atmosphere that's hard to beat. We visited Pub 22 for dinner after not having been there in a long time…read more After being seated, we waited approximately 20 minutes before anyone came to the table to greet us or take our drink and food order. During that time, other guests who arrived after us appeared to receive service before we did. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich, and my wife ordered the chipotle chicken Alfredo. The food arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered. My sandwich was acceptable, but the chipotle chicken Alfredo was not prepared well. The chicken was overcooked, and the sauce had thickened to the point that it affected the texture of the dish. My wife was unable to finish it. We were also there during happy hour, which was supposed to include $2 off all drinks. After reviewing the bill, the drink discount did not appear to be applied. Because of the amount of time we had already spent waiting, we chose not to raise the issue at the restaurant. After asking for the bill, we waited about 10 minutes and had to call the waitress over again to request it. Based on this visit, we do not plan to return to Pub 22. We try to support local businesses, especially since there are limited dining options nearby, but the service, food quality, and billing accuracy during this visit did not meet expectations.

Dark beams, creaky floors, mounted longhorns, and a massive old Brunswick backbar that probably has more stories than half the regulars. Walking in feels like stepping onto a movie set, except the beer is cold and the people are real. The menu is refreshingly short: burgers, a couple sandwiches, green-chile stew, and usually a burrito or enchilada plate. Nothing fancy, but everything is made in-house and tastes like it. We were bummed they were 86'd on the beef burrito the day we went but the cheeseburger more than made up for it. Hand-formed patty, properly griddled with crisp edges, good cheddar, fresh toppings, and a toasted bun that held together. Fries were hot and salty. Service is friendly in that small-town "you're not a stranger for long" way. Prices are fair, the patio dogs are welcome, and there's live music on weekends that somehow never drowns out conversation. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Patagonia, make the detour. Grab a stool at the ancient bar, order whatever they still have left, and soak in one of the most authentic saloons southern Arizona has left.

It's Jaime's from next door but no app or running there needed, the bar takes the order, delivers when ready and has the extra condiments behind the bar to parm red chili flakes or black pepper up your slices. The bottom is crisp and 72-hr cold fermented dough has great flavor as does the sauce which has slight tang and zestiness, and now my go to over Empire Pizza, my previous downtown fave. Really, these are cocktails for people who don't know much about cocktails. Just about everything on the menu is safe. Too safe. A few classics, and a few originals with like three ingredients. My Sonoran Old Fashioned (Tequila, honey, lemon) was OK but it didn't add any sort of bitters or house-made syrups for pizzazz, nor did it employ an agave spirit with any depth. What a snooze. Same for the admittedly cute drink featuring prickly pear--just straightforward and unimaginative. Nothing really appealed to me, so I went with my personal top-shelf staple--a Hendrick's and tonic. But they didn't even have Hendricks! Guess they were too busy using the limited space for a bunch of whiskeys. Spoiler alert: They don't even have the biggest (or most curated) whiskey list within a couple hundred meters. They used to have a kitchen too, and I wanted to try that, but it looks like they simply gave up on that in favor of outsourcing food to the adjacent pizzeria. I don't mean any disrespect, but there's nothing Good Oak can do that isn't done better by someone else on Congress.
