    Beautiful wooden bar

Very cool saloon; beautiful wooden bar; came in two nights in a row for drinks and karaoke; lots of locals; very fun!

This is a fun bar and a good place to meet a few locals too. I gotta say there was a local kid. He is one of the gun fighters who was cat calling tourist girls and I was pretty put off by it. Had He said something like he had said to a couple girls I heard him cat call, to someone I was their with it would have needed to be addressed. I get he's a local but come on. It really did diminish the evening. BUT, the karaoke was good, bar tender was fun. Over all a good time.

This saloon is on Alan Street and has a tremendous amount of historic content. The have a full bar and also serve small bites.

BAD BAD BAD! Go to any other place in historic Tombstone other than this place! Such a shame too, in such a cool town. I guess not everyone loves their job. The broad behind the bar was so rude thar our group of 5 got up and walked out without even ordering. She was solely interested in the 3 only people sitting at the bar which were the only ones in the entire place. Guess that should've given us a clue! We passed on the pretzels and tater tots menu and headed over to Big Nose Kate's to get service, without attitude, by someone who likes to get tipped. Save your money and good mood for a different place. THIS place was NOT IT!!!

This was the second bar my boyfriend and I went to when we were visiting Tombstone since Big Nose Kate closed earlier. This bar is cash only. Service was good. The bartender was great. We had beers and chicken tenders . Great chicken tenders and decently sized. Good bar food. It was pretty loud obviously since it was a bar. There was karaoke too. Super fun.

Cool place to grab a beer and meet up with friends. Located in the middle of the historic Tombstone AZ. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

Arizona 01-2024 Doc Holliday's Watering Hole Saloon & Bar located on the Old Main street in Tombstone. Cash only establishment. Serving drinks and food. They do offer local bands & entertainment but when we were there, it was not offered. We were there about 2pm on a Sunday afternoon in January so not very lively but if these walls could talk what would we hear? I'm so glad I was able to go here at least once in my life. I highly recommend you stopping by if given the opportunity.

Cool spawn in the middle of town kind of touristy, but they had some stuff for sale, knickknack, cigarettes, lighters, etc. I don't know if they had food, but the service was prompt because no one was there. I like the bartender she was great and felt very nostalgic drinking in old buildings like that.

We were bar hopping at night checking out the scene and we stopped here and ordered a margarita. The female bartender wasn't that friendly and was a bit impatient even though the bar wasn't busy. The margarita had the premix in it so it wasn't that good but passible. These bars are tourist traps for some but I like the old western vibe and the barflies that dress the part.

Great service with a laid back atmosphere. Full bar and they have karaoke too. Not too noisy and right on Allen street.

Between the live music and the old historic vibe, I think it's one of the coolest experiences in town! The history behind the place is also really interesting. It's the second-oldest restaurant in Arizona and opened in 1880. The building used to be the Grand Hotel before it burned down in 1882 & was rebuilt, and there's a lot of history connected to it. The food isn't luxury dining, but I've never been disappointed with a burger or sandwich with some onion rings (really tasty btw). My girlfriend also loves the Macho Nachos. Overall it's just a fun spot with good prices, good service, and a Wild West-sized load of character

Even on a Tuesday afternoon in mid-April, this joint was bustling with live music, servers rushing about in their period costumes, and the chatter of happy patrons enjoying themselves and taking it all in. Whether a lover of frontier history, western cinema, or just plain ol' drinking in a genuine saloon, Big Nose Kate's screams, "WELCOME TO THE TOWN TOO TOUGH TO DIE!" Upon entering, our party was seated in a raised section above the main floor near the front windows. It was an excellent spot to see all the action (including a monitor playing the movie Tombstone, BTW) as we perused the menu of appetizers, entrees, and libations. The selection of specialty drinks was impressive, though I opted for a simple "Big Ass" draft pilsner (flavorful and locally brewed). My wife did order a Cowboy Sangria - and it appears wimpy drinks "don't go around here, Law Dog," because she thought it was good but a bit too strong. I actually had to finish it for her. (Such a chivalrous sacrifice!) But don't assume that Kate's is just a drinking establishment; there's quite a variety of eats, as well. Good-sized, tasty looking burgers and sandwiches passed by our table, which were tempting; however, not being overly hungry, we decided to sample a few of their appetizers as we moved on to another round of beers. The Buffalo Wings were good but nothing really special. The Soft Pretzel Basket - actually one HUGE pretzel served with cheese and mustard sauces - was warm, salty, and much bigger than anyone anticipated. It was enjoyed by our entire table. When visiting, don't neglect a trip to the gift shop, which can be accessed from a spiral staircase right in the center of the dining area. Their menu recounts that a part of this underground area was once the abode of the saloon's swamper, and you can even view his living cubby and mining tunnel when below. Of course, there's lots of branded swag available for sale down there, too! Big Nose Kate's Saloon is a must-see stop for Tombstone visitors. Priced aren't exorbitant, portions are generous, and the food and drinks are pretty darned good, as was evident from the satisfied looks of the diners and drinkers around us . You may even be approached by Steve, who offers FREE photos (from your personal camera or phone) with props and piano-top poses - now how can you beat that value? Make it a point to come on in, belly up to the bar, and enjoy the saloon's hospitality.
