Capturing the 5 stars for this place excited and thank you this is a wonderful experienceread more

My daughter and I drove all day from California and were excited to see the local sights and have a…read morebite to eat. The only establishment that was still serving food at 9pm was Doc Holliday's Saloon. From the minute we walked in, the vibe was very "locals only" as several people were gathered at the far end of the bar where the only bartender / employee was working her crowd. Keep in mind this was a Friday night and there were maybe 10 people gathered around socializing. We waited patiently at the center of the bar hoping to catch the bartender's attention. After a few minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement of our presence, I moved towards the end of the bar where the bartender was holding her audience of locals. We were a bit road weary and just wanted to order a pizza to go and take it back to our hotel as it had been a long day. Apparently we did catch her attention because she proceeded to say "Don't worry - I'll be right fucking with you", rolled her eyes, then winked at her regulars. Keep in mind all we did was stand at the bar - we did not call out to her or even wave or raise our hands to catch her attention, we just merely moved closer to where she was. We left immediately. It was a terrible experience. If I could, I would give this employee and Doc Holliday's Saloon ZERO stars based on this woman's atrocious behavior and unprofessionalism. My daughter is a young, local dive bar enthusiast and also rates this establishment as a flop. The one bright spot was the bouncer who was very nice. It's a shame his co-worker is exceptionally rude and he has to work with her. On a positive note, we had an exceptional experience down the road at Circle K with Matt who gave us a history of Boot Hill and we were able to find pizza there as well. I would highly recommend passing on Doc Holliday's Saloon and head over to see Matt at Circle K instead.

Live music. Burgers and sandwiches. Full bar. Waitstaff in costume…read more We dined here on a Saturday during lunch. The room was packed with people standing at the bar. A very good keyboard player was live throughout our visit singing location appropriate songs like "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers. We were seated by the host with newspaper style menus. The menu includes pub fare including apps, salads, sandwiches, burgers and personal size pizza. There is a kids menu, but it's not really a kid venue. It's quite loud and there are paintings and photos of nudes scattered throughout. Also, no diaper station, just fyi. Food was good and it came out in reasonable time. My bbq brisket sandwich was lean and the sauce well balanced. I upgraded my side to a salad. It was a good portion size and fresh with dressing on the side. There are limited 'sit down/table service' places to dine in the historic area of tombstone. This one is lively, right in the heart of the area. Gift shop on the lower level, down a steep circular staircase, has a lot on offer. Boots to hats and under things. Toys, jewelry, accessories and tshirts. The back room is preserved as it was with a hole down to a mine (that is blocked up now). Restrooms are older but clean, located at the back where you'll find a veterans memorial hallway and atm machine. Parking on side streets or public lot.

I would say this is probably the more touristy place to get food here in tombstone, but honestly I…read morewould say it's the place to go. The food is pretty good, but the atmosphere is amazing! There is a lot of history and fun stories to be told. I got the award winning pastrami sandwich. It was pretty good, not sure award winning level but J would happily come back! People are friendly, live music is great, and it's just an all around good time. If you could only go to one restaurant in Tombstone, come here!!

July 4th, 2026 was my first time inside this place. Why did it take so long?…read more I was in town with my dog-loving, beer-drinking friend. Another local recommended this place as it's dog-friendly. So we walked on in, were greeted right away, and sat upstairs on the patio. The patio provided perfect view of Allen street below. The bar area and first floor dining area were busy and we were relieved that the patio was quieter and less chaotic. Jennifer was our server and she took good care of us. She got our dogs a bowl of water as soon as we sat at a corner table. We were hungry. My friend had Nacho fries and I had a chicken taco salad. My salad was the only disappointing thing about our visit today. The chicken was minimal and there were no beans at all. The menu does not mention beans, so this was my oversight. But who makes a taco salad without beans? The taco salad was missing more than just beans, though. The menu stated it also had cheddar cheese and sour cream. Both were missing. No wonder the salad was flavorless and underwhelming. I ate the entire thing, though, because I was very hungry and needed to eat something before drinking any beer later. I enjoyed the ambiance. Sitting outside with a view from above toward Allen Street is nice. I will make sure I will not order the taco salad next time. It was more like a lettuce salad: shredded lettuce thrown in a fried tortilla shell. Ambiance 5 Service 5 Food 2.5

Yes the staff looked over at us multiple times. They KNEW there were people waiting to even be acknowledged. There were multiple parties being ignored by the time we left and went to either Longhorn, or Big Nose Kate's, which greeted us immediately, and seated us quickly. When we left, at least one other party did as well asking where we were headed if we weren't waiting.
