Friendly staff and and friendly travelers gather each night to have cocktails, dance to live music on select nights and take in the historic saloon. We had a great time and met many people from all over, including Canada. It really takes you back to the 1800's! The Monument ranch is a simply amazing place to stay for starters and The Trappmann Saloon is a great part of what make this place come alive at night. Buck and Burt entertained us all the night we were at the Saloon and boy was it a hoot. Not only are they a great duo that played all evening, but they even took requests. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. The beer was really cold and everyone was extremely friendly. There was a nice crowd of people, but not packed by any means. Some people who lived in town came out to enjoy the festivities, but mostly folks that were staying at the ranch. I would highly recommend you make a trip out to this really neat ole Saloon, even if you aren't staying at the ranch; it really is that cool!

Friendly bartender, Jell-O shots, any kinda shots and sitting in a historical town after a long drive made this a great first stop!

I don't recommend bringing children under 3 years old because the gun shots are a bit loud for little ones. I had to step out for the last part of the show. I tried to go in this place several times and almost every time was a terrible experience. The one exception when the owner was the only one in there. He seemed nice enough and the only one that didn't give me the "what are you doing here?" vibe unlike everyone else I've encountered in this place. I guess the cool kid members are enough to keep the doors open and they don't need any new customers. Fine with me, there are many other options in town to choose from.

This was a lunch stop today. I did see the burger on a prior Yelp review, and that drew us in. The burger, unfortunately, looks better than it was. The meat was like a hockey puck, and the bun was days old. And don't get me going on those coated fries. The menu covers off on typical pub food.
