What an amazing steakhouse! Not fancy, a down to earth steakhouse. Great ribeye, comes with a really good salad and loaded baked potato. Extremely friendly and helpful waitress. Interior decor is country / Southwest. Just a great place org awesome food!! Highly recommend, I always come back here to eat when in the area.

The service is great. Food was excellent. I really enjoyed my lamb chops. My sister tried this Sonoita petite steak and my son had the prime rib. All of them served with salad and potato of your choice or the house beans. After dinner, we sat at the bar for a second cocktail This is definitely a cowboy restaurant and bar It was great and had some live music. Typical cowboy ambience with wooden chairs, wooden bar, even had a fireplace.

Stopped by here after the rodeo this weekend. It's a great steakhouse with indoors and patio seating as well as open seating at the bar. We ordered steak with a baked potato. Each steak meal comes with a side salad too which is nice. Steak was cooked perfect! We also ordered a side of onion rings and loved it. Service was super friendly and gave that small town hospitality. I definitely recommend if you're in Sonoita for any reason.

Weve been here a few times during rodeo season. last night was my sons birthday, so we took him here. dinners and service was good, but not very "wow" and everything was fresh. the menu isn't very big, but thats ok. an acoustic guitar player was there playing nice music!

We came here during a wine focused visit to Sonoita. We were blown away by an outstanding steak, and an excellent blue cheese and ranch for their wings and celery. We really enjoyed the live music and fun atmosphere of friendly folks here - most seemed local and we felt like the only out-of-towners, but nobody made us feel unwelcome. We're very glad we came!

I've been coming to The Steak Out for years, every time I am in Southern Arizona. The Steak Out is consistently good throughout the years. Beautiful steaks, cooked as specified on mesquite wood, served with a salad and a choice of sides. It's rustic charm is always appealing. On Friday and Saturday's, they have live entertainment. While it can get loud, it is always enjoyable. The steaks are large, so come hungry or split one. Service is good, attentive, friendly-- just perfect. The full bar serves the best margaritas in the county. Bartenders are friendly and know how to fix your cocktail--just tell em what you want and you'll get it. The Steak Out continues to deliver.

No matter how many times I've come here for steak, I've never been disappointed. One of the best filets I've ever eaten. I don't need a knife. On the weekends you can normally listen to music being played while you enjoy your meal. A nice little country place to bring you back to earlier times. Service has always been good although I usually eat in bar area.

The great, highly original decor (mounted game…read moreheads, taxidermy, vintage comic popular art prints) hasn't changed but has been selectively added to with art by locals. It's family friendly and has been a tradition for breakfasts, birthdays for many locals since it opened in 1937. It's also the best place in town for a sitting -at- the- bar drink and conversation. The food has varied over the decades (I'm now in my 70s) but I'm still a fan. The burger and Mexican food has remained primo. The bartenders are locals who most often know their customers and treat pretty much everyone like neighbors. Saturday Karoke nights are my favorite as unexpectedly talented residents take to the mic and change your image of them forever. I think the Wagon Wheel has been written up in the New York Times twice. As one of the last originals it deserves all the attention it gets. To go to Patagonia and not check out the Wagon Wheel Saloon is just a cryin' shame.

Dark beams, creaky floors, mounted longhorns, and a massive old Brunswick backbar that probably has more stories than half the regulars. Walking in feels like stepping onto a movie set, except the beer is cold and the people are real. The menu is refreshingly short: burgers, a couple sandwiches, green-chile stew, and usually a burrito or enchilada plate. Nothing fancy, but everything is made in-house and tastes like it. We were bummed they were 86'd on the beef burrito the day we went but the cheeseburger more than made up for it. Hand-formed patty, properly griddled with crisp edges, good cheddar, fresh toppings, and a toasted bun that held together. Fries were hot and salty. Service is friendly in that small-town "you're not a stranger for long" way. Prices are fair, the patio dogs are welcome, and there's live music on weekends that somehow never drowns out conversation. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Patagonia, make the detour. Grab a stool at the ancient bar, order whatever they still have left, and soak in one of the most authentic saloons southern Arizona has left.
