This place was excellent. We ordered a pizza and the Gorgonzola pasta dish. Their pasta dish was kind of heavy so I would not recommend getting that unless you're really hungry. The sauce was also looser than I would've liked it. I would've liked it a little bit creamier and thicker. The pizza alone was delicious. Next time I go, I would definitely just do the pizza if I'm not that hungry. For the pizza I asked for a side of red sauce instead of putting it on top and it was absolutely delicious with the red sauce however I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the sausage strips. We got takeout and I didn't pickup so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but it is cute from the outside and does have some parking. Its at the end, just off the main area so its easy to grab for takeout. There's easy online ordering and we got everything as ordered. There's even an option to make any pizza half and half which is great! We got the Supreme, the Margherita, and a half and half of the Thai chicken and the sausage/ mushroom pizza. This is a nice quiet little pizza place. The menu was full of stuff that looked ok, but nothing that really jumped out at me. We ordered the supreme pizza and for 25 bucks, it was really just a small, pizza. Not bad, but definitely not good and darn sure not worth the price. We had some 10 or 11 dollar dip beforehand that came with some dried bread. The food and the prices were just disappointing. I will say the location was nice. The food was prepared in a timely manner. The servers were very attentive and nice. Delicious pizza option in downtown Bisbee! Prices are fair and the pizza was out quickly after we ordered. There's not a ton of indoor seating, so plan accordingly if you're going on a nice weekend evening. They also have a large drink menu with some unique cocktails. This is still my favorite pizza place in Arizona. Friendly servers. Unique ambiance as this was an old gas station back in the day. But their pizzas are especially delicious. Screaming Banshee was recommended to us several times and I can see why. It's located at a very scenic intersection and has an outdoor dining area. I've been wanting to try Screaming Banshee for years, but it's always been packed. I finally got the chance during our last trip to Bisbee and it was more than worth the wait. We started with an order of the Knotty But Nice, which were easily the best garlic knots I've had in my life. We also had a small garden salad, which was actually quite big, and shared the Screaming Banshee pizza. The house-made sausage was delicious and perfectly complimented the other toppings, and the pizza was just as good reheated the next day. Mexican folk music played in the background The pizza dough itself has no special flavor. The sauce and sweet tomatoes were the best part Service was fine. This restaurant made their biggest mistake! They had the opportunity to create widespread positive reviews and instead they bombed!! They were hired to cater a small wedding and totally blew it. We stopped by here because they had a dog friendly patio and seemed to be the only place in Bisbee open on a Sunday night. We ordered the 'No Besos para ti' to start which I was excited about because I LOVE roasted garlic, however they give you like 5 tiny crostini and half of them were burnt to a crisp, so that was very disappointing.. We also ordered the Banshee pizza and the Cadillac Margherita. The waitress brought us the wrong pizza, stating that she thought that's what we ordered. We did not. we decided to just take to go because it DID look good, and we had her bring us the Margherita that we had originally ordered.....the pizza came super fast and was wrong, so I know they threw that together. There was no fresh mozzarella or feta on this pizza which was stated on the menu and why we wanted it in the first place. Unfortunate. My wine glass was taken without an offer of another glass or anything else to drink. I asked for extra napkins and they never came. We also didn't receive any knives with our appetizer so I had to go inside to ask for them myself. The pizza was actually delicious. Great flavor and fresh tasting ingredients. The service, however, left something to be desired. I do understand that it's a Sunday and not busy and everyone wants to go home, but I'm a server and these are very basic things . We were offered a discount on the mistake pizza, but only because we said something. I'd mention quality of the food as a redeeming quality before I get into the issues but... We did not get seated! My boyfriend and I are visiting his family in Tucson and we went to Bisbee for sight seeing and to shop. It was already 5:45pm when we got to the Screaming Banshee and we were hungry after walking around all day. We enter and there was 7 of us, 5 adults and 2 tweens... We're standing around waiting and someone in our party asks if we seat ourselves to which the guy at the counter making the pizza responds, "no, someone will be with you in a sec." Completely normal response, so we just stand around listening to the loud music they have behind the bar. This (black haired) woman comes up and says "Oh look at this group of zombies who waltzed in expecting service!" and we brush it off and say there's 7 of us. She pushes past our group then another (blonde) woman comes by and the previous worker fills her in, saying "well these 7 people walked in here asking for our service!" in the most demeaning tone ever. The blonde lady says "oh well we can't sit that many right now.. we can put you on a waitlist and call you when we have an opening." We ask how long the wait is and she just says we'll have to wait. It's also freezing out, probably like 35F and it snowed a few hours earlier so we're saying how we can wait inside since its cold, to which the black haired lady says we have to wait for a call to get served, which we assumed was her kicking us out. They were also saying they can't promise to seat us inside due to our party size. After we left, a group of our size was waiting at the door and the blonde lady opens the door for them very politely and seats them immediately.... I'd also like to mention there was maybe 2 people sharing one table and that was all the business they had. No one at the bar, no one in any other tables, it just seemed like they did not want to do the work. We also were going to share 2 pizzas max, but even if we ALL ordered, we'd be paying them damn well. I really do not understand what the issue is here. Rude and unhelpful service. My boyfriend's cousins have brought their family and friends here and have LOVED the food, but this exchange is just such a bummer and they said they won't bring their service there again. read more

Great pie and atmosphere! We had a one hour plus wait as they were packed as well as every other restaurant in Bisbee Labor Day weekend. Anyways, found out we could get a drink at the bar and ended up having our dinner at the bar as well. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of beer (Copper City Ale), my wife had a specialty drink, and a couple of glass of Chardonnay. We ordered a custom pizza, and the crust was the best I've had in a long while as it was a thin crust pizza, pepperoni, black olives, basil and extra mozzerela. A day trip to the Copper town of Bisbee. Server apologized for the delay in greeting us and told us he'd be right over. The Good: The pizza was delicious- but as the menu states- they only have one stove? Oven? Therefore, the wings that were ordered took longer to arrive.... It was a slow day and time, so I can't imagine how this works on busier evenings during peak hours?? Server was polite and friendly with steady refills on a hot day- kuddos! The Blah: Although the outside reflects a retro fun aesthetic- the inside is not what you would expect.. The name itself made us hesitate and wonder if we were actually at a biker bar, which is not what we were looking for....the inside reflects a dark vibe- portraits similar to Salvador Dalí mixed with the Conjuring. The menu has its logo that reminds me of a depressive emo teen going through the goth phase. In Summary: We were hoping to be wow'd- unfortunately the environment is what wow'd in the other direction... would we consider this a fun, family friendly place? Maybe for older teens hungry for pizza. Larger groups might be a tighter squeeze or opt to eat outside for more room! I would have liked to see more Bisbee theme for this place- we have enough Banshee type places everywhere else for those looking to fill their grunge cup. This place was a total hit! So much fun, absolutely delicious food, and excellent service. You have to come here if you're in Bisbee. We had a short wait for a table on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, so not bad, because this place is not huge (but plenty of outdoor seating as well, we chose indoor). First of all, the pizza is everything they say, it's great. Yes, I was on the fence about the Thai Me Up, Thai Me Down and didn't get it but next time I will, it looked great. I got just margherita with salami. I tend to not like a lot of ingredients on my pizzas, though. The cheese-to-sauce ratio was perfect. The marinara is excellent. Just a hint of sweetness but also the acidic bite you want. You can tell there's garlic but what would a marinara be without it? I loved the sauce. And the cheese, also excellent. And the crust is, for me, exactly what you want - thin, crispy on the edges, a bit softer in the center, and check out the photo, nice bubbles. The char is a great touch. These folks know exactly what they're doing. I was born and raised in The Bronx and very particular about my pizza, and I was extremely happy with the pizza here. My wife has a gluten allergy. This is one of the best gluten-free pizzas (if not the best) she's ever had. I tasted it and I agreed, you get the same crunch, the crust is a bit thinner than the regular crust, but it has FLAVOR. Most gluten-free crusts serve as nothing more than a bottom to put sauce and cheese on, completely lacking in flavor. NOT the case here at Screaming Banshee, this is a tasty crust done really well. DO NOT FORGET ABOUT THE WINGS either. Whoa, BABY. They're baked in the oven (and gluten-free), moist and tender, and have lots of sauces of varying heat levels to satisfy just about anyone. We went with Mango Ginger, has some kick to it, but cooled down by the ranch that comes with it. Loved the wings so much that we got a separate order to go. Our server, Shelly, was just great, too. She was attentive and friendly and she did an outstanding job with our leftovers, I know it's not something people normally comment about, but she was so careful to place foil separating the gluten-free from the regular pizza leftovers, I found that very thoughtful and so helpful. It was a pleasure having her as our server. And the vibe here is cool and laid back. Music playing, converted gas station, great stuff on the walls, and even the bathroom is cool (yes I attached a photo)! Fun place, great food, excellent service, a Bisbee staple. Just come here. You won't regret it.
