Right when you pulled up should have told you right there DO NOT EAT HERE!!

From the toilet being out front of the entrance way of the restaurant had me thinking it was part of the restaurant which it wasn't, that toilet out front was a symbol of what that place really was. Over priced and food needed to be flush. The steaks were cooked from a microwave and the rice was the only thing that was hot on the plate. The experience of walking in wasn't a welcome or pleasant one. Don't waste your time and those cowboy beans was as bad as the service that was served. NEVER COMING BACK. For the price we paid in this establishment was very nasty food. Should be no stars.

I really wish I could give 3.5 stars. So let me first start that this is a steak place so when my girlfriend ordered chicken Alfredo I was already confused. But I'll roll with it. When we got it the noodles were not really alfredo (when I think of white sauce with cheese, like you'd see at Olive Garden or some Italian joint.) this was more butter and oil, noodles and chicken. So I wasn't impressed, defiantly not something she's getting again. I got the tenderfoot which is cubed steak on a bread thing (see picture). The meat was ok, the bread was well, the bite you see missing is all that was eaten. Again this is a steak place. I got their prime rib and I thought it was good, not the best but not bad. The slices we got (3 of us at the table) had a high fat content so that took away from eatable meat. Mix a little sour cream and horse radish and I'm happy.

Amazing experience here for our anniversary. The food was amazing and cooked perfectly. And we can't say enough about the top notch service. We felt so welcome ! We loved the comfortable atmosphere especially the old country music they played. We also appreciated that the place was very clean. Kudos to the hostess/manager? Cindy who has impeccable taste in cowboy boots and was so sweet and friendly. Alexis our server who was super attentive and kept the bread basket full. Will definitely return for some prime rib!

A fun saloon/steakhouse with good food and a terrific waitress. It's a bit out of the way but worth the drive.

Good local steak place with a great history and old west look. Solid bar. Very nice wait staff. Can get a bit backed-up when it's busy.

Food was amazing, I had the Swiss Shrimp (fried shrimp butterflies and stuffed with ham and cream cheese) and took home a Shrimp Empanada for my husband. NO ONE in our group complained about the food... this has never happened in the last 4 years! Service was excellent, efficient and friendly and they didn't balk at separate checks. Plan to return with my husband soon.

For an appetizer, we shared an aguachile, which was absolutely delicious. We all agreed that it was the best dish that we had. However, two of us ordered the camarones en creme de chipotle. The sauce was already separated on both of our places by the time it was placed in front of us. I took my first bite of the shrimp (which were pretty big) in a warm flour tortilla, and the shrimp tasted off. I thought that I imagined it, because my friend didn't say anything, but after a few more bites and consulting with my friend who got the same dish, we both were completely turned off because the shrimp was not good (too fishy). We couldn't eat anything else for the evening. All of this being said, the atmosphere was great - live singing, fantastic service, and a lively party-like ambiance. Unfortunately, though, our dishes killed the vibe and our appetites.

Walking in honestly feels like stepping into a hacienda. There's a gorgeous fountain in the center and a mix of seating areas - some more loungy if you're just having drinks, others perfect for coffee or a full breakfast. There's even an upper level with a bar-style balcony, which is where we sat, and it was such a great view. They are dog-friendly in the outdoor areas (I had mine in a stroller), and the staff could not have been more accommodating - they even helped me carry her up the stairs. Service overall was amazing. We had multiple servers checking on us, which just shows how well staffed and attentive they are, especially since it was pretty busy with the buffet crowd. We heard their buffet is really good, but we weren't quite that hungry, so we ordered off the menu. I got the huevos rancheros, and I'm not kidding - the beans alone made the whole trip worth it. I don't know what they're doing back there, but they need to keep doing it. The eggs and red sauce were also so good. My girlfriend got the chiles rellenos, and just watching her cut into them with that perfect cheese pull told me everything I needed to know - she confirmed they were delicious. The decor is beautiful and full of Mexican culture, the space feels really inviting, and overall it was just such a great experience. If you're in Nogales and want something nice without going too far into the city, this is literally right across the border and absolutely worth it.
