Really neat atmosphere and great food. We ate dinner here on a recent weekend in Bisbee. It has an outdoor area that is beautiful and a great place to people watch. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was a band playing and the music was uncomfortably loud. We asked if we could sit in the "cave" away from the music and were initially told the "room" is reserved for large groups. However, the hostess graciously made an exception for my party of three. (The owner was probably glad she did because our party of three produced a bill, between food and drinks, that was surely equivalent to a much larger party.) Bisbee Badassery is a small sandwich and burger spot on the main row in Bisbee. It has a small but really cute patio built pretty much into the mountainside with misters -- but we sat in the small but pleasant inside area as there was pretty loud live music going on and we wanted to relax and chat. Our waitress was welcoming and friendly and let us know what was popular, what options there were, and that we could make changes. We all got sandwiches and I think everyone was happy with their meal. The one thing I would say is go for fries over tater tots! The tater tots were cold yet seemed like they'd been fried 4 or 50 times. read more

I took my two grandsons here after a walk around Bisbee last Monday. The younger one, 8, was excited to "eat in a cave" and when we got to the place, there was a table open in the cave. Yay! Our server came to us right away. The boys had burgers, I had my chicken sandwich, and my daughter had a teriyaki chicken salad. The other table of four men left and the cave suddenly was quiet and warm. Food was good and service very attentive. We were finishing up our visit, I had paid the check, and in the last minute a rat scurried out of a small hole in the cave and ran across the grandson's feet. It's a really small space. Like really small. Cozying up to the bar made for a super cozy experience, but the bartender was a pleasant man and made for some great conversation. Good selection on the menu. Decent beer selection. There seemed to be a lot of confusion as to people sitting outside vs people inside, but for the most part it was an enjoyable experience. We called ahead with a large party and had an awesome experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and handled our group without any issues at all, which immediately set the tone for our lunch. We enjoyed it so much that we actually came back again later for some late night drunk snacks. The food was very good nothing over-the-top fancy, but solid, tasty, and exactly what you wanted and expected. The onion rings in particular were delicious and a standout for our group. What really made this a 5-star experience was the overall vibe and service. The atmosphere inside is super cool, and the outdoor seating is a huge plus. There's even a little cave area outside that we absolutely loved it made the whole experience feel unique. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. read more

She was attentive, while we were tucked away we never felt forgotten about. We had burgers and a Reuben. All were delicious. So glad we stopped here for dinner. read more

We enjoyed a very nice al fresco lunch here last month. They have a lovely outdoor seating area that is dog friendly. There is a cool bigfoot cabin if you walk past the stairs near the waterfall and there is even enough room inside it to dine in there if you wanted to. I did have to go inside to attempt to get someone's attention to be seated and I thought they might be closed, except there was a gentleman at the bar watching tv so I continued to wait. After a few minutes he noticed me and told me to go ahead and seat myself and he'd send someone out. I guess he was the owner or manager. It was a little odd. We also noted that the employee to guest ratio was literally 2/1 during our visit but service was still a bit slow. I guess things are more laid back in Bisbee and it ended up giving us time to chat and and enjoy the beautiful day. I ordered a strawberry slushy and a western burger with tots while my husband tried the hot pastrami and provolone sandwich with fries. The sides were cooked perfectly. They were light and crisp. They didn't come seasoned so you'll need to add your own salt and sauces to your taste. There were so many adorable details that made our lunch here pleasant and I would definitely return, now that I have a better understanding of how things work, to enjoy another meal. read more

Our wandering around Bisbee led us here! We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by friendly and attentive staff. I ordered a spicy bloody mary and while it was good, the mix was a little sweet for my palate. The restaurant has indoor and patio seating with some live music outside. Inside, it's decorated in cool "biker" vibes with TV screens and multiple photos of bikers who have visited. We had the chance to talk with the owners and they were so gracious and friendly, too. I ordered their garlic burger and it was perfectly cooked and equally delicious! I opted for their onion rings and they were average. Definitely worth a visit for a great burger! read more

The best Reuben sandwich I've had in years! Excellent flavor and quality! The garlic burger was good, but the Reuben was the best! Would highly recommend getting the Reuben! The staff are so nice as well as the owners whom were there. They have a patio that has heaters as well as a handful of seating inside. We sat at the bar. They have a variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and sides. Also, an ice cream shop in an attached room indoors. I asked for my pastrami burger without a bun and it came on a little bed of lettuce. The side salad was generous, with standard ingredients in it. My husband got his burger with tator tots. I liked mine a lot, although my husband wasn't overly impressed with his. Our server was good and came out to check on us several times. It was a unique dining experience. read more

This was close to my hotel (Inn at Castle Rock)--just across the street. It was the only place open after 8 on a Saturday night in the area to eat. I saw the menu at the hotel and thought it was simple and good enough. I ordered the Reuben, which was fine and it comes with one side, so I took the onion rings which normally cost extra. Nothing fancy at all, but it was tasty and even the sauerkraut was grilled. Not much meat but for $12.95. It wasn't a bad deal. I was only able to eat half and brought the rest back to my room. The place is not very large inside, but everyone is quite friendly. It looks like it's geared mostly towards takeout that are only three or four tables and a bar counter. (See add on below). There are lots of burgers on the menu as well as sandwiches and a huge drink menu. Not fancy but fun. ADD ON: this morning when I went out to the car, I found they have a nice patio outside the back of the restaurant. It's lit up well (was probably closed late last night due to cooler temperatures). Not my choice normally, but they even had live music there this afternoon. That and the vegan menu that I wouldn't usually choose made me change my rating to 4/5. read more

We got the Bisbee Bleu grilled chicken with onion rings and a Reuben with tater tots. The roll on the chicken was sweet and fresh and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The Reuben was on marbled rye and so tasty. Tater tots were good but the onion rings were outstanding. Now the wait staff is the most welcoming and fun. Service was fast. Came here for Valentine's Day dinner while visiting Bisbee. It was pretty busy, most of the other stores were closed. Wait was about 20 minutes, and the service was wonderful. The beyond burger was delicious, and the French fries were solid. I had a galetines drink which was Prosecco mixed with other things and edible glitter. Staff seemed very nice and accommodating, but wasn't sure if one of the workers was being sarcastic or friendly, AC was blowing super cold directly onto our table so I attempted to try to redirect the vent cover a little. Staff said to make ourselves at home, that he messes with it all the time. Surprised by the comment, I just shrugged it off as I did not think what I did was anything wrong and again not sure if he meant it in a negative way. My attempt did not do much as I didn't want to mess with it too much or break it. So, we asked the waitress if we could up the temperature a bit and they did. Ordered, food and service were great. What I was bothered with is that we were a party of 6 and it says on the menu that they add 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. I had just given the waitress our credit card without seeing the bill as she was starting to get busy. She brought the check back with only the credit card slip. She did not say anything about it. Calculating in my head what everyone ordered, it seemed like the gratuity was added but I had no way to verify. The slip only had the total and the typical tip recommended amounts and the space to add tip and sign. So I had to approach her and ask, she said she wasn't sure and proceeded to look it up on the computer and confirmed that it was already added. My feeling by her reaction and not apologizing or really even saying anything, is that it was done purposefully, but again I cannot say with complete confidence that it was intentional or an honest oversight. Normally, even when I have not seen the bill before giving my credit card, the bill is included with the credit card slip. If I had not seen it on the menu, I would not have known gratuity was added. If I did not question if it was added, I had no way to know it was since we were never provided the bill. So, we easily could have double tipped which was already a generous amount. I even made sure she was aware that we grabbed a soda from one of the coolers so that it could be properly added to our bill and I feel we were not given the same honesty back. read more

After Karchner Caverns part 2 where we went through the big room! Dad and I moved over to Bisbee. Forgetting it's a holiday we were confused why most places were closed until we remembered. But exploring a bit we found a place to eat that dad thoroughly fell in love with. I got the teriyaki chicken burger, which I liked. I wished there was more teriyaki rather than soy sauce but I liked it! And I loved the salad. Dad got the pastrami and I wish I got it. It was so tasty, from the bite I got and per dad. He too loved the salad. Also we have yet to find any other place that serves Pure Leaf Blackberry, so if you're a fan like us go. It's so much fun and really good food! read more

It was a nice little place to visit during our time in Bisbee. My partner liked the fact that they offered a vegan option on their menu. I had the pastrami burger and it was very good. Their fries were crisp and flavorful. We had frozen strawberry margaritas. We sat outside to enjoy the nice afternoon. The waitress was nice and friendly. It was a nice place as some of the other options were closed but I I guess that would make since when majority of their business comes during the weekends while we had decided to visit Sunday through Wednesday. My husband, sister-in-law and I visited the Bisbee Badassery for lunch once while in town for two days. Our sandwiches were phenomenal. I highly recommend this cafe. I had ordered a Reuben sandwich and a side salad with ranch dressing. My husband ordered a hot pastrami sandwich on Dave's organic bread, with provolone. He didn't want a side. We shared the two sandwiches and salad. My sister-in-law ordered turkey with provolone on Dave's organic bread. Everyone loved the sandwiches. We sat indoors in the somewhat small seating area. There was a steady flow of takeout customers. Other people sat outside on the beautifully landscaped patio which is bordered by a natural rock embankment. We walked to the Badassery from the downtown area. That was probably a wise decision because I do not recall any obvious parking. read more

Spent the day wandering Bisbee with the family. Asked a local for food suggestions and she pointed us to Bisbee Badassery. When we first got there the inside dining area was full but they offer seating on a patio. The day was hot and muggy, I am disabled and I was not really looking forward to sitting outside but I was going to make due. But the staff went above and beyond and when a tabled left inside before we were even settled outside; they notified us they had a place for us inside and got us situated. They were friendly and attentive, took our orders quickly. Drink and food appeared in a timely manner. Now onto the food.... reuben sandwiches, BLT sandwich, grilled cheese, turkey sandwich, pastrami sandwich, tatter tots, onion rings, fries.... we ordered a wide range of things. And everything was delicious. I personally had a reuben and I have to say it was the best reuben I have had in AZ. If you are in Bisbee this is a must visit place to go. read more

Outside patio is fun and they have a cave in the back patio with seating for two small tables. Service was friendly and welcoming but the food was not fresh. Ordered the wings and they tasted undercooked, ordered the pastrami burger and that had an odd taste as well. Fries were still frozen and onion rings were only partially cooked and some were burnt. Would not recommend for food and also the restaurant does not have beer or wine so it must be a liquor license issue read more
