The attitude they presented became nothing less than infectious. We soon realized they were a huge part of the perfect atmosphere. Delightful! As for the food... A simple Soup and sandwich restaurant that delivered all but simple. I cannot stop thinking about the flavor and texture since we left 2 weeks ago. We live in Tucson and trust me, 'I will be back'. I had one of their sandwich specials, which was the turkey, brie, gruyere, and bacon (with a mayo called "prickly pear jalapeno mayo) on excellent grilled focaccia bread. In fact, it was my favorite sandwich of the trip. We ate outside on the patio, which was nice. Although you order at the counter, they bring your food to your table (it was a bit slow) and you bus your table too.

A Local Gem That Just Keeps Getting Better I've known the Linden family for a long time, and one thing has always been clear--they know how to do things right. When they first opened Bisbee Beverage with a pizza place attached, I remember thinking, Liquor store AND pizza? How's this gonna work? Turns out, it worked really well. Fast forward, and now it's a full-fledged restaurant--and it's absolutely fantastic. First off, the food. My go-to is the Border to Border sandwich--thin-sliced Canadian bacon, melted cheese, and green chilies in the perfect balance of smoky, spicy, and savory. It's one of those sandwiches you think about long after the last bite. But if I'm in the mood for pizza, the Deli White is a close second--cheesy, garlicky, and downright addictive. And then there's Chris. If you want to know what's happening in town, just have a chat with him. He's a great conversationalist and seems to know just about everything going on in Bisbee. That kind of welcoming, down-to-earth energy makes the place even better. Now, fair warning--when it gets busy, service can slow down a bit. Chris is often juggling the phone, the window, and the restaurant all at once, which is a tall order for just one person. But honestly? It's worth the wait. The food is always solid, and the atmosphere makes up for any extra time. Great food, great people, and a spot that's only gotten better with time.
