    chicken pot pie

Stopped in again after a nice hike around town. Brought my dog Fritz in. Dogs are allowed up front, away from the bar. I was one of two customers. I ordered a Portabello wrap ($10) which came with a tasty sauce. The wrap was toasted which added a nice touch. The mix of vegetables made this a filling meal. I'd have this again! I didn't care for the loud grunge music, but then again I'm also nearing Senior Citizen status. A group of four seniors came in while I was eating, sat by the window, but then left. Most likely due to the music.

Chicken Salad Salad is a pass, not enough and not good!

The Quarry is a unique little place with an odd vibe and texture! There were several people working yet it almost felt like no people were really working, not sure how they accomplished that!! We sat at the bar and ended up have both bartenders serve us so service definitely wasn't lacking! Both were very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have us! The Bloody Mary was handcrafted and delicious, all the house pickled veggies were a nice addition. The coffee was burnt and old but the very carefully measured ounce of additions masked the burnt flavor just enough that I was able to warm up a bit! The food was mediocre, maybe what we ordered isn't their specialty! The chicken salad was a very small portion of sloppy chicken atop a whole bunch of spinach. My Wedge Salad, with additions, was okay, nothing great. Four stars because they allow dogs up to and on the tables! I'm a dog owner and lover myself, but at a restaurant, a large dog, sitting on the table bench, eating off the table with his owners should not be allowed.

Might not be the kinda place you take grandma and grandpa to, but FWIW I am a grandpa and I enjoyed it! Definitely a dive - the place gives the appearance that they have not quite picked up after the last wild party. The staff was very friendly, and kindly explained everything they were out of which was about 1/2 the menu. The beer was good, and our food arrived in about 15 minutes. The chicken pot pie had us all guessing what/how the biscuit was made, but it was good. My wife thought the sage was a bit overpowering, but she's not a sage person. They were out of angus beef :-( So I had the house burger which was nicely done. The house fries are really good, and there were too many to finish. We had a fun, out-of-the-box experience.

A diamond in the ruff. Wow the meatloaf and mash potato's with candied carrots were the bomb I never ever ever would had thought to eat here as it's a hole in the wall type of place we are on a food tour we our guide took us here we looks at each other and thought no way well lets just say it was the best place on our food tour we were pleasantly surprised that's for sure. We will be back

Came for some drinks and music while visiting with family. I know from my family that this bar space goes way back and it has that charming, dated kind of feel. We watched the first band finish up and they did a fantastic job. They were followed by a one-man-band performer who played guitar, harmonica, kick drum and sang. He was impressive! I wish I had gotten their names. Service was mediocre, unfortunately. There was no table service, which is fine. However, the bar staff was not super friendly. We had a group of 10 and me and another person were ordering, purchasing and distributing drinks for all 10. We were going through the drinks rather fast, so we were ordering frequently. Our bartender became unhappy with having to serve us over and over. She eventually said "next time you order, you can't be ordering this frequently." Maybe she didn't realize we were trying to help by not having 10 people at the bar. The drinks were good and crafted well. The size of the cocktails were on the small size - filling a 8oz mason jam jar (with a good amount of ice).

This place is very laid back. If you looking for quick service this isn't the place. There is one person attending to many tables so service can be on the slow side when the tables are full. We witness a couple of large parties leave without waiting for the bartender who is also your server. The food is great! I had the Bang Bang BLT which everyone in my party liked. Interesting items on the walls

Awesome little hole in the wall with a punk scenic vibe going throughout the whole place. Lots of fun crude humor and engaging artwork, definitely worth a visit if you're looking for somewhere comfortable and unique. Service isn't super involved, definitely ask for extra napkins but overall a lovely hidden gem! Food was tasty, very messy and greasy. Options were great and everything looked super good. Pickled veggies were good too, tasted like a fun house blend of unique spices and flavors.

I'll start my review with if you go on a weekend especially a holiday parking will be hard to find close by you might have to park far & walk to this restaurant. This is a half bar half restaurant bar is in the back in which to be seated they have no history in the front one actually has to walk to the back bar ask for menus and then sit wherever you like. It's inconvenient, but that's how they do things. The food is good, but the portions are very very small for the price compared to other restaurants in the area. Servers are cordial and nice, but it takes awhile to get your food & when it's really busy it takes even longer. The ambience is different due to the bar/restaurant it can be loud because of the people at the bar. I gave it 3 stars, because of the parking situation, small portions & no free refills when it comes to sweet or unsweetened tea they charge $3.00 for every refill, other than that if I come back I'll try the bar & maybe try something else from the food menu.

This joint is the reason people live dives. Everything about this place was awesome.the staff is super. The food was amazing . Easily the best patty melt I ever had The don't have Jack Daniels but I can look past that Music was just right. Worth the trip from Phoenix just to hang out here

Location, Service, Ambience and Food 10/10 hands down our favorite spot while in Bisbee. I recommend the Meatloaf but I'm sure everything on the menu is great. If you're reading this, listen to me, GO!

We went in for dinner and I ordered the grilled cheese and what came out was a little sample of a biscuit with cheese on it. we thought it was a joke it wasn't. I know times are tuff but Put a little effort into the sandwich . Then the poor girl was buy herself serving drinks and taking orders and she was getting forgetful. Then the long hair server guy should have had his hair up and not in are food. I'll go to the gas station for food first before this place.

Excellent food! Great job to the chef in the kitchen. Did not have to wait too long for food but it was after 730pm and only two other tables. Wow the meatloaf! Delish! My only complaint was the music that was playing 5/18/22 was pure hell - awful. It was torture to me. I would describe it was angry heavy metal

Nom nom nom. I love this funky grungy hole in the wall with its amusing decor & scrumptious food. Stopped here on a whim with my teen & glad we did. Service was great as well.

Sausage gravy on home made biscuits with 2 sunny side up eggs. Amazing!

We arrived just under the wire as the last table seated for the evening and were fully prepared to be turned away, but the hostess kindly welcomed us in. Our server was warm, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about both the food and its preparation. As the evening went on, we learned that this is a family-run restaurant, which only added to the charm and warmth of the experience. I ordered the mussels, one of my favorite dishes, while my girlfriend had the artichoke and mushroom lasagna. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and a caramel nut tart with mascarpone. Both of us have traveled extensively, eaten at many excellent restaurants around the world, and this was genuinely one of the better meals we've had. The restaurant is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, the food was exceptional, and the service matched it perfectly. It felt so special, like we had our own little corner of Bisbee to enjoy the evening. We started with the appetizer sampler, and every single bite was incredible. Each item was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. It set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. For our entrées, my husband ordered the duck and could not stop raving about it. It was perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. I had the Chilean sea bass, and I'm still thinking about it. It was cooked to absolute perfection. It was tender, buttery, and it truly melted in my mouth. As if that wasn't enough, it was paired with prawns and lobster ravioli... just beyond delicious. Okay, I also have to mention the salad. The salad was fresh and amazing, and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we were served a lime palate cleanser before our entrée. Such a thoughtful and elevated touch. We were honestly blown away. Our server was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. It made the entire experience feel warm and personal It's rare to come across service that truly enhances a meal like that. And dessert... the crème brûlée was to die for. We paired it with a 10-year tawny port, and it was the perfect ending. It was smooth, rich, and indulgent in all the best ways. This was more than just dinner; it was an experience. Café Roka delivered excellence from start to finish, and we will absolutely be back. To our wonderful server: May kindness you give return to you tenfold, May your path be light, your days be warm, And may every table you serve be filled with gratitude and joy.

The streets were packed, and I had shown up without reservations expecting the worst. I somehow waited less than 10 minutes to be seated, and had my drink order taken right away. Like the menu, the alcohol selection is very safe--comprised of a ton of beers and liquors you've probably already heard of. I opted for a local delicacy--Bisbee Blue G&T. While I'd prefer they take their chances on a limited menu of real cocktails, it was nice having something new you don't really run into outside of a small town. Your choices of food are basically Mexican, sandwiches, burgers, and barbecue. I went with the West Texas Millionaire Burger and it was certainly worth it.You can't go wrong with truffle or sweet potato fries, either. Portions are huge--perfect after you spend a day walking around for miles. The atmosphere feels like you're in a diner, and it's not as flashy or artsy as a lot of places. That's fine. While there's no flagship dish for foodies to rave about, it's quality food in a prime location that anyone can appreciate.

The exterior looks like a mix of three attractions: a restaurant, a museum, & a movie theater. I can't say if all three of those things are really in there, it's just an impression. I will say that I am glad I took at chance at trying their food at a time when I was seriously hungry. I was invited to sit wherever I wanted, so I chose a table along the wall with a big TV right above me. I was greeted kindly, and given time to order my food, which I decided would be a couple fried eggs, hashbrowns, sausage patties, toast, & cheesy grits. They were so good, with the hashbrowns being, as my partner put it, "The best he's ever had!" I personally enjoyed the patties the most, and the grits the least. The grits were made in a way that the shredded cheese was sprinkled on top of the grits instead of mixed in it, and I do not prefer that style. It was still good, just not as good as others I've tried. So that's why I'm not docking points; why be super critical on one side dish when everything else was an A+? I liked the wholesome feel of the restaurant, like everybody knew each other, and the fact that it was pet-friendly was a bonus too. A couple came in with three cute dogs, and that just made me super happy (not to mention, it WAS on my birthday too). I would come here again if I return to Bisbee.
