The atmosphere screams "metal bar", so our kids didn't love it at all. My wife and I were a bit more flexible, it's a gastropub, and not a bar/grill. The food we ate was spectacular, and we all cleared our plates. I was a bit disappointed with the limited beer selection. Artistically dramatic interior. Glad it stuck out to me on Yelp. Enter and get your menu from the bartender. Right outside where we found a space to park the painted walls on what's still standing was cool. We ordered a grain-fed burger and fries, veggie sandwich, 2 iced teas and a meatloaf dinner. Stopped in again after a nice hike around town. Brought my dog Fritz in. Dogs are allowed up front, away from the bar. I was one of two customers. I ordered a Portabello wrap ($10) which came with a tasty sauce. The wrap was toasted which added a nice touch. The mix of vegetables made this a filling meal. I'd have this again! The Quarry is a unique little place with an odd vibe and texture! There were several people working yet it almost felt like no people were really working, not sure how they accomplished that!! We sat at the bar and ended up have both bartenders serve us so service definitely wasn't lacking! Both were very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have us! The Bloody Mary was handcrafted and delicious, all the house pickled veggies were a nice addition. The coffee was burnt and old but the very carefully measured ounce of additions masked the burnt flavor just enough that I was able to warm up a bit! The food was mediocre, maybe what we ordered isn't their specialty! The chicken salad was a very small portion of sloppy chicken atop a whole bunch of spinach. My Wedge Salad, with additions, was okay, nothing great. Four stars because they allow dogs up to and on the tables! Might not be the kinda place you take grandma and grandpa to, but FWIW I am a grandpa and I enjoyed it! Definitely a dive - the place gives the appearance that they have not quite picked up after the last wild party. The staff was very friendly, and kindly explained everything they were out of which was about 1/2 the menu. The beer was good, and our food arrived in about 15 minutes. The chicken pot pie had us all guessing what/how the biscuit was made, but it was good. My wife thought the sage was a bit overpowering, but she's not a sage person. They were out of angus beef :-( So I had the house burger which was nicely done. The house fries are really good, and there were too many to finish. Came for some drinks and music while visiting with family. I know from my family that this bar space goes way back and it has that charming, dated kind of feel. We watched the first band finish up and they did a fantastic job. They were followed by a one-man-band performer who played guitar, harmonica, kick drum and sang. He was impressive! I wish I had gotten their names. Service was mediocre, unfortunately. There was no table service, which is fine. However, the bar staff was not super friendly. We had a group of 10 and me and another person were ordering, purchasing and distributing drinks for all 10. We were going through the drinks rather fast, so we were ordering frequently. Our bartender became unhappy with having to serve us over and over. She eventually said "next time you order, you can't be ordering this frequently." I'll start my review with if you go on a weekend especially a holiday parking will be hard to find close by you might have to park far & walk to this restaurant. This is a half bar half restaurant bar is in the back in which to be seated they have no history in the front one actually has to walk to the back bar ask for menus and then sit wherever you like. It's inconvenient, but that's how they do things. The food is good, but the portions are very very small for the price compared to other restaurants in the area. Servers are cordial and nice, but it takes awhile to get your food & when it's really busy it takes even longer. The ambience is different due to the bar/restaurant it can be loud because of the people at the bar. I gave it 3 stars, because of the parking situation, small portions & no free refills when it comes to sweet or unsweetened tea they charge $3.00 for every refill, other than that if I come back I'll try the bar & maybe try something else from the food menu. read more

Small light hole in the wall restaurant off the beaten path in Bisbee. Plenty of seating and a lot to look at while sitting down. It's a very hipster vibe with unique paintings hanging around the walls. The food was excellent. Great attention to detail and flavor was on point. Food came out quick and service was top tier. The Quarry is the BEST......in Bisbee in my opinion. So many times I would see it on yelp but the pictures were not convincing enough and from the outside it just looks like a little bar I did not want to take my kids In it to eat. Well one night it was really late and we were coming from harvesting Ocotillos and it was the only open place and I was like whatever this is where we're going to eat. It WAS THE BEST. We ate there the next day and the next day and I think we've eaten there 5 times since then. All of the food is super fresh, extremely gourmet, packed full of ingredients. All of their sauces are homemade, the ranch, the ketchup, the bbq sauce. The staff has been super super sweet and they even let me take my little dog in there. Truly this place is the BOMB. We were in town looking for vegan food and found The Quarry. It was one of the only open spots where we could grab a vegan dinner. I was with my husband and two young kids (7 & 9), went to the bar, and ordered the veggie sandwich and fries. The sandwich was very good, the fries were just ok, and the service was fast and friendly. The reason I took a star off was because there was nothing indicating that this place is not kid friendly. If it was just my husband and myself it would have been fine, but there was rated R things on the walls that I don't necessarily want my kids staring at. Visited the small town of Bisbee. After doing a tour in the small town of tombstone. Was not quite sure what to expect once we arrived here so we ended up yelping a lunch location and came across this neat little spot. Definitely a cool place to pick up a bite to eat and sometimes catch live performances as they have a small stage inside as well. The guy that helped us here was really nice and was dressed in his Halloween costume for the occasion. I will say that their version of bbq sauce versus what I use to after all these years is very very different in taste. Their bbq sauce resembles more of a red picante sauce. I didn't even know this was a pub because of how specialized their breakfast was. If I could eat here every morning, I would go obese because I kid you not, I wanted to lick the plate. Atmosphere: Kinda funky is the best way I could put it. Like modern meets rustic, and has an alien cowboy as an interior decorator haha. I want to start off by saying that I enjoy the atmosphere of the Quarry as well as their food, location, and drinks. As most people discover when they read the reviews for this place, the food service is generally slow. That's understandable, and I'd say the French fries here are worth the wait. We also enjoyed the patty melt and BLT. Our main server, however--blonde with glasses--was one of the most unprofessional people I've come across at a restaurant. We finished eating and were waiting for her to come back to our table for at least 20 minutes. She hadn't come back, so when the brunette bartender came by (who was actually very friendly), I asked for a to-go box and our check. Another 15 minutes go by and we haven't received it, and I see her up at the bar busy making drinks. So when our main server comes by, I ask her for the to-go boxes and check. I didn't feel it was necessary to take the time to explain that I'd already asked for these things and hadn't received them. After, I see her talking to the brunette behind the bar and looking over at us. Several minutes later, our server comes by and tells me I need to be patient in an extremely rude tone. She continues by saying that I held them up by asking for the check twice (which clearly wasn't true, considering the other bartender hadn't even brought us our check). I laughed nervously, taken off guard completely by her abrasive attitude, and kindly let her know we hadn't received what we'd asked for so I simply had asked again. She said to not do that again--she literally scolded me for simply asking for service. I smiled and said ok. I've worked in plenty of restaurants, and this kind of thing happens--but it's not your job as a server to reprimand customers for simply asking for something twice (especially when they're not being rude about it). Met friends in Bisbee, decided to eat together, bartender didn't want us to take a table until the 7th of our 6 people already there arrived around 5:30. Ridiculous. There were only three couples seated, and one was already eating. They weren't busy at all. It took so long to get a drink order, three of the guys left and drank a beer elsewhere so we mostly just drank water and soft drinks (one was wrong) on our empty stomachs. We would've ordered other beverages had we any food on our bellies. It took at least half an hour to get a food order put in, and one person at the table was going hypoglycemic. The two bartenders/waitresses would wait on the five people at the bar and bar walkups before taking our orders. The food took another 20-30 minutes. Unable to even get a water refill, we supposed They didn't want us there so we decided (after one of us had a very weak alcoholic beverage we all sampled) that we would go elsewhere. The waitresses wouldn't make eye contact, barely had any personality and we are nice people. Regardless of the food, none of had time for a two hour dinner. Poor poor service. I was just there with my boyfriend, his cousin, and his wife for lunch and the place was different but it was very busy there because the waitress told us that they sent the other waitress home because it wasn't so busy and we thought that it was the biggest mistake that they have ever done, you should have never sent a person home when it's not busy, it's just not a right thing to do to in our opinion but the food wasn't too bad, my boyfriend and I had the Sky land burgers and they gave us a lot of fries and then gave us both what they called their "homemade ketchup" but it tastes more like a jar of tomato sauce in a little plastic cup, my boyfriend and I weren't too happy about that, my boyfriend's cousin had the Messy melt or something like that and his wife got the chicken salad. read more

Went based off popular yelp reviews. It was my birthday, so I wanted something exciting and fun, but it was late and the reviews seemed good, so we went. Shirley temples stink. All 7up. I had the chicken pot pie. That was very tasty! My boyfriend had th meat loaf. Really good! Kids had the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. 1 liked, the other didn't. I didn't, but my bf did.
