Stopped in again after a nice hike around town. Brought my dog Fritz in. Dogs are allowed up front, away from the bar. I was one of two customers. I ordered a Portabello wrap ($10) which came with a tasty sauce. The wrap was toasted which added a nice touch. The mix of vegetables made this a filling meal. I'd have this again! I didn't care for the loud grunge music, but then again I'm also nearing Senior Citizen status. A group of four seniors came in while I was eating, sat by the window, but then left. Most likely due to the music.
The Quarry is a unique little place with an odd vibe and texture! There were several people working yet it almost felt like no people were really working, not sure how they accomplished that!! We sat at the bar and ended up have both bartenders serve us so service definitely wasn't lacking! Both were very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have us! The Bloody Mary was handcrafted and delicious, all the house pickled veggies were a nice addition. The coffee was burnt and old but the very carefully measured ounce of additions masked the burnt flavor just enough that I was able to warm up a bit! The food was mediocre, maybe what we ordered isn't their specialty! The chicken salad was a very small portion of sloppy chicken atop a whole bunch of spinach. My Wedge Salad, with additions, was okay, nothing great. Four stars because they allow dogs up to and on the tables! I'm a dog owner and lover myself, but at a restaurant, a large dog, sitting on the table bench, eating off the table with his owners should not be allowed.
Might not be the kinda place you take grandma and grandpa to, but FWIW I am a grandpa and I enjoyed it! Definitely a dive - the place gives the appearance that they have not quite picked up after the last wild party. The staff was very friendly, and kindly explained everything they were out of which was about 1/2 the menu. The beer was good, and our food arrived in about 15 minutes. The chicken pot pie had us all guessing what/how the biscuit was made, but it was good. My wife thought the sage was a bit overpowering, but she's not a sage person. They were out of angus beef :-( So I had the house burger which was nicely done. The house fries are really good, and there were too many to finish. We had a fun, out-of-the-box experience.
A diamond in the ruff. Wow the meatloaf and mash potato's with candied carrots were the bomb I never ever ever would had thought to eat here as it's a hole in the wall type of place we are on a food tour we our guide took us here we looks at each other and thought no way well lets just say it was the best place on our food tour we were pleasantly surprised that's for sure. We will be back
Came for some drinks and music while visiting with family. I know from my family that this bar space goes way back and it has that charming, dated kind of feel. We watched the first band finish up and they did a fantastic job. They were followed by a one-man-band performer who played guitar, harmonica, kick drum and sang. He was impressive! I wish I had gotten their names. Service was mediocre, unfortunately. There was no table service, which is fine. However, the bar staff was not super friendly. We had a group of 10 and me and another person were ordering, purchasing and distributing drinks for all 10. We were going through the drinks rather fast, so we were ordering frequently. Our bartender became unhappy with having to serve us over and over. She eventually said "next time you order, you can't be ordering this frequently." Maybe she didn't realize we were trying to help by not having 10 people at the bar. The drinks were good and crafted well. The size of the cocktails were on the small size - filling a 8oz mason jam jar (with a good amount of ice).
This place is very laid back. If you looking for quick service this isn't the place. There is one person attending to many tables so service can be on the slow side when the tables are full. We witness a couple of large parties leave without waiting for the bartender who is also your server. The food is great! I had the Bang Bang BLT which everyone in my party liked. Interesting items on the walls
Awesome little hole in the wall with a punk scenic vibe going throughout the whole place. Lots of fun crude humor and engaging artwork, definitely worth a visit if you're looking for somewhere comfortable and unique. Service isn't super involved, definitely ask for extra napkins but overall a lovely hidden gem! Food was tasty, very messy and greasy. Options were great and everything looked super good. Pickled veggies were good too, tasted like a fun house blend of unique spices and flavors.
I'll start my review with if you go on a weekend especially a holiday parking will be hard to find close by you might have to park far & walk to this restaurant. This is a half bar half restaurant bar is in the back in which to be seated they have no history in the front one actually has to walk to the back bar ask for menus and then sit wherever you like. It's inconvenient, but that's how they do things. The food is good, but the portions are very very small for the price compared to other restaurants in the area. Servers are cordial and nice, but it takes awhile to get your food & when it's really busy it takes even longer. The ambience is different due to the bar/restaurant it can be loud because of the people at the bar. I gave it 3 stars, because of the parking situation, small portions & no free refills when it comes to sweet or unsweetened tea they charge $3.00 for every refill, other than that if I come back I'll try the bar & maybe try something else from the food menu.
This joint is the reason people live dives. Everything about this place was awesome.the staff is super. The food was amazing . Easily the best patty melt I ever had The don't have Jack Daniels but I can look past that Music was just right. Worth the trip from Phoenix just to hang out here
Location, Service, Ambience and Food 10/10 hands down our favorite spot while in Bisbee. I recommend the Meatloaf but I'm sure everything on the menu is great. If you're reading this, listen to me, GO!
We went in for dinner and I ordered the grilled cheese and what came out was a little sample of a biscuit with cheese on it. we thought it was a joke it wasn't. I know times are tuff but Put a little effort into the sandwich . Then the poor girl was buy herself serving drinks and taking orders and she was getting forgetful. Then the long hair server guy should have had his hair up and not in are food. I'll go to the gas station for food first before this place.
Excellent food! Great job to the chef in the kitchen. Did not have to wait too long for food but it was after 730pm and only two other tables. Wow the meatloaf! Delish! My only complaint was the music that was playing 5/18/22 was pure hell - awful. It was torture to me. I would describe it was angry heavy metal
Nom nom nom. I love this funky grungy hole in the wall with its amusing decor & scrumptious food. Stopped here on a whim with my teen & glad we did. Service was great as well.
The atmosphere screams "metal bar", so our kids didn't love it at all. My wife and I were a bit more flexible, it's a gastropub, and not a bar/grill. The food we ate was spectacular, and we all cleared our plates. I was a bit disappointed with the limited beer selection. Our server literally said, "we have an amber ale, an IPA, and a porter", and that was only after we asked about ordering drinks. It was strange not to see a drink menu or anything. It was a mixed experience, my wife said she'd visit again, but I'd prefer somewhere else next time. read more
Ya'll.... This place was recommended to me and it did not disappoint. The Mac and cheese specifically is delectable, I returned on my last day to eat it one more time. Service was great and the atmosphere was a vibe, lots to look at. read more
Artistically dramatic interior. Glad it stuck out to me on Yelp. Enter and get your menu from the bartender. Right outside where we found a space to park the painted walls on what's still standing was cool. We ordered a grain-fed burger and fries, veggie sandwich, 2 iced teas and a meatloaf dinner. Food was outstanding, homemade comfort goodness so worth the wait. I don't like mashed potatoes and gravy but theirs was superior! Gender neutral restrooms with extras( see photo.) read more

Food was outstanding and staff was very friendly and accommodating. The vibe definitely matched the classic Bisbee vibe you'd expect. I had the Quarry burger, which I loved. My wife had one their ballin' BLTs (don't remember the name) and that was pretty awesome. The restaurant was a bit dirty for my liking, but overall good place. read more

The Quarry is the BEST......in Bisbee in my opinion. So many times I would see it on yelp but the pictures were not convincing enough and from the outside it just looks like a little bar I did not want to take my kids In it to eat. Well one night it was really late and we were coming from harvesting Ocotillos and it was the only open place and I was like whatever this is where we're going to eat. It WAS THE BEST. We ate there the next day and the next day and I think we've eaten there 5 times since then. All of the food is super fresh, extremely gourmet, packed full of ingredients. All of their sauces are homemade, the ranch, the ketchup, the bbq sauce. The staff has been super super sweet and they even let me take my little dog in there. Truly this place is the BOMB. The food is 10 stars. I will post more pictures when I go back. read more

It was a quiet Sunday morning, but service and food were great. Opted for their sausage gravy with scratch made biscuits and two sunny side up eggs on top. Sat at the bar with my iPad to use their free WiFi and enjoy this breakfast alongside a refreshing mimosa. read more

Visited the small town of Bisbee. After doing a tour in the small town of tombstone. Was not quite sure what to expect once we arrived here so we ended up yelping a lunch location and came across this neat little spot. Definitely a cool place to pick up a bite to eat and sometimes catch live performances as they have a small stage inside as well. The guy that helped us here was really nice and was dressed in his Halloween costume for the occasion. I will say that their version of bbq sauce versus what I use to after all these years is very very different in taste. Their bbq sauce resembles more of a red picante sauce. Wasn't what I was expecting but I ate it lol. Didn't want to be rude. But a cool hip spot for sure. read more

Food/Drinks: It was the best biscuits and gravy I ever had in my L I F E. The portion was huge, it was insanely delicious, and everything just hit the spot. I didn't even know this was a pub because of how specialized their breakfast was. If I could eat here every morning, I would go obese because I kid you not, I wanted to lick the plate. Atmosphere: Kinda funky is the best way I could put it. Like modern meets rustic, and has an alien cowboy as an interior decorator haha. I was into it though, lots to look at while we waited for our food. Good place to bring someone for a date, tons of talking points. Service: Great! The gal who served us was so sweet and kept up with out insanely high water demand, I mean it's the desert haha. The food took a while but you could tell it was all made from scratch and there was so much flavor and love you just know it's worth the wait. read more

I want to start off by saying that I enjoy the atmosphere of the Quarry as well as their food, location, and drinks. As most people discover when they read the reviews for this place, the food service is generally slow. That's understandable, and I'd say the French fries here are worth the wait. We also enjoyed the patty melt and BLT. Our main server, however--blonde with glasses--was one of the most unprofessional people I've come across at a restaurant. We finished eating and were waiting for her to come back to our table for at least 20 minutes. She hadn't come back, so when the brunette bartender came by (who was actually very friendly), I asked for a to-go box and our check. Another 15 minutes go by and we haven't received it, and I see her up at the bar busy making drinks. So when our main server comes by, I ask her for the to-go boxes and check. I didn't feel it was necessary to take the time to explain that I'd already asked for these things and hadn't received them. After, I see her talking to the brunette behind the bar and looking over at us. Several minutes later, our server comes by and tells me I need to be patient in an extremely rude tone. She continues by saying that I held them up by asking for the check twice (which clearly wasn't true, considering the other bartender hadn't even brought us our check). I laughed nervously, taken off guard completely by her abrasive attitude, and kindly let her know we hadn't received what we'd asked for so I simply had asked again. She said to not do that again--she literally scolded me for simply asking for service. I smiled and said ok. I've worked in plenty of restaurants, and this kind of thing happens--but it's not your job as a server to reprimand customers for simply asking for something twice (especially when they're not being rude about it). Her attitude was completely unacceptable. It's too bad, especially since the other bartender was friendly. With so many other good restaurants in town, this place just isn't worth it! read more

Visiting Bisbee and swung in here for a bite and drink. I quite enjoyed the easy going atmosphere. Luckily I wasn't in a hurry though. Even though I was sitting at the bar it took awhile to get served. What made up for it was the staff. They were super friendly despite having a packed house. They were very honest in telling people the wait for food was about an hour. They have a vegan section of the menu and I was pleasantly surprised about how good it all sounded. I got the vegan porta bella wrap and fries. It was all so good! The vegan aioli was delicious. I would certainly come here again. Of course being aware that they service and food may be a bit long but worth the wait. read more

Went based off popular yelp reviews. It was my birthday, so I wanted something exciting and fun, but it was late and the reviews seemed good, so we went. Shirley temples stink. All 7up. I had the chicken pot pie. That was very tasty! My boyfriend had th meat loaf. Really good! Kids had the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. 1 liked, the other didn't. I didn't, but my bf did. I love smoked Gouda, I guess it's hot and miss. The fries are amazing!!!!! The ranch is to die for. I wish they sold it lol, I didn't ask. Maybe they do ? Cute spot to check out. read more
